When we first came we were weak, unable to survive in this new world. Than the High One Lomathe' mated with a creature of this world, a spider. Her children were strong and resilient; half spider, half elf, of this world and not. She gathered many other High Ones to her and her cause, each in turn taking the form of various spiders and joining with them to have their own children. The blood of many spiders, but even more High Ones flows through us giving us the strength to be a part of this world and to survive. The High Ones under her rule shaped from stone the great Hive we call our home. The humans were drawn to us by our beauty and our magic, they revered us as gods worshiping us bringing to us their youth as gifts. From these youth and from our own, halfbreeds were born. Then one day a dark presence befell us, several of our own went missing, the humans drove our halfblood descendants from their tribes and began to call us Demons and False gods. Over the past hundred turns more of us have gone missing never to return, the humans come at us stronger and in greater numbers, our halfblood descandents seek refuge within our walls, our Lady Blaze has been killed and her untried first daughter Lady Opal has stepped up to take her place. Everyday the dangers to our kind grow; the dark presence, the dissapearances and the humans. Can we survive or shall we fall; another empire shattered. Only time can tell only you can help, are you willing to join us and fight for survival? Welcome to Spider Mist Valley, join us brothers and sisters in our struggle.
