For anyone who seriously hasn't been playing long enough to know that EA screwed
up their Sim installer please for the love of god go here:

Notice the name of the category is Downloading for Fracking Idiots that means
you should learn how to google before asking a question that has been asked a
million times by a million other noobs. I own all EPs and SPs but my Sims do not
require you to have anything but the base game installed so quit whining to me
about The EA installer and learn how read. Do you even know how many people ask
stupid things like where should I put my skins or how do I install a sims2Pack
file? It's ridiculous that in this day of technology and supposed intellectual
superiority people still ask such dumb things.

So let's clear this Up:
Sims 1 Skins go in your skins folder and to install a sim in sims 2 Use the
clean installer because even though I have all EPs and SPs the EA installer
still gives me the error that I don't have such and such a required EP installed
and cannot install the sim. That's right everyone it gives that error so often
that's why the CleanInstaller was made because Big surprise EA does not know
what they are doing. The fact that they released 3 Patches for FreeTime one of
which actually caused the game to stop working should be an indicator of how
thorough EA is.
