When you're looking for members for a game, where do you go? There are place that will take a link, and messageboards, but what about people who only access the internet through email, and don't regularly get online proper? Good writers some of them, but you never get to find that out because you're not in contact with them.

And if you're looking for a game, unless you know exactly where to look the situation gets even harder. In a list of game URLs, you can generally guarantee at least two thirds of the games dead. Messageboards are better, but you have to return daily to find a game you like. Wouldn't be a lot easier just to have them delivered straight to your inbox?

And with open archives the advantage is that you don't have to belong to the list to read the ads.
