We've updated with a new set:

Ines' Downtown Bakery

Where the first Ines' Bakery set imparts the warmth and coziness of a favorite
neighborhood hangout, this one franchise is a sparkling gem perfect for any
Downtown setting.

As with the first in the series this entire shop can be built on a residential
lot and includes a complimentary home business. Unlike the cafe included with
the first bakery, however, this shop wont generate much of an income on it's
own.  For the best income you'll want to use combine the sets using the Ala
Carte table to generate most of the income and the new hack to keep customers
from lingering once they are full.

NEW HACK: The Grab-n-Go Sales Display

This display stand sells a box of pastries and encourages Sims to head on home. 
With that customer gone a new customer can be brought in ... and the game always
bring them in hungry so you can see how the Ala Carte Buffet Table and the
Grab-n-Go would work so nicely together despite having such different styles.

The Grab-n-Go Display may be used as a floor model or placed on a surface which
changes the graphic to match.  (Personally I find the floor model  too out of
place in my Old Town style cafe so use it on a surface instead.)

ANOTHER NEW HACK: The Dishposal Bin

This is primarily sn add-on for the Old Town style set. Having a dishwasher in
my cozy little cafe just seemed all wrong so I made a trash receptacle for it
that combines a dishwasher and trash bin, allowing Sims to throw food away as
well as trash.  The "dish wash" feature is only available to Sims in the same
room as the bin so there's no danger of Sims crossing the lot to through their
good china away in the cafe!

I uploaded a couple of things to the site today.

The first is a Vain cashier for Magic Town shops.
(HOME ENABLED - found in the Magic category on Home lots)

Morganna Macon of the Macon Magick Supplies Shoppe, extremely vain and slightly
grumpity, Morganna fares better if you place a store mirror in the room to keep
her occupied. (Morganna prefers mirrors she can "Admire" herself in but will use
most others if she must.) When not applying makeup admiring herself Morganna
practices her magic both in a general sense and using the mirror for targeted
spells. The mirror is also used to help her change clothing (which accounts for
the large number of dresses bundled in this zip). All of that magick practice
comes in mighty handy when pests (roaches or flies) happen into her shop,
though, as she's ready willing and able to dispatch them immediately! For those
with Unleashed installed, Morganna Macon is also a gifted a palm reader, a
reviver of the dead, and a pet channeller on both home and away lots.

Requires Makin' Magic; Unleashed Recommended

Hackers please note: The Magic Town register is a good study if you are
interested in using the Makin' Magic Spell effects. Note the "pass temp 0 to
main" portion of BHAV 5117's Line 3. Because of this, the value I that assign to
Temp Storage Zero is used by the spawned object (NPC-FX.iff). As illustrated in
my BHAV #5113 ("if Mirror - spell reflect") this FX file can be associated with
any object, not just NPCs. Awesome, huh?

APARTMENT HACKED GLOBALS (MM required)
========================

I've also uploaded a few global files for those using the Simlogical Apartment
Hack System.  Those who are not should NOT install these files.

Most of the files improve gameplay on your apartment lots. Details can be found
on the webpage.

A couple of the files are sorta like a 'fix" that automatically apartment hacks
your counters and sofas so you don't need to do each one manually.  It wont
conflict with the ones you've already done, just gives you less work in future.

NEWS:

Bit of a change for the front page. I decided I'm a bit sick of the rigamorale
involved in updating to the website so I've slapped the site map on the front
page instead.  Over time I'll consolidate some of the existing pages.

I (Raeven) am also withdrawing my cloning policy and replacing it with "do
whatever you want". No credit is necessary. Hell, cloning isn't even necessary,
for all I care. Everyone else's contribution is still, of course, their own and
I speak ONLY for anythign I have done. good luck sorting it out. :)

It's a simple mood tracking hack for everyone on the lot. it reflects the
overall mood by changing graphics. In this case I just tinted the graphics a bit

THE CASHIER is another spell casting cashier who's personality contrasts
Morganna Macon's.  Rowan is a quieter sort who speds most of her time behind the
cash register instead of in front of a mirror.  She has a book and a crystal
ball to read (required skins included) to keep her occupied between sales.
She'll also water any plants you may have in the shop and if she notices any
swarms of flies or roaches enter the shop she'll transform them into faeries. 
Like Morganna she has palm reading skills (for those with Unleashed installed)
and may be used on home lots without the move_objects cheat.

THE NEW SET is primarily a reagents shop, but I've included additional displays
making it a little more like a magical general store since the other shop sets
wont be available for quite a while.  This shop set may be set up as a
neighborhood shop (that actually sells things to your Sims) or a home business
(that generates income in both simoleons or MagiCoins for your Sims.)

As reagents (ingredients for spells and charms) were designed to be sold from
vendors with carts instead of normal shop displays I created a set of
"ingredients" files that allow the shop displays to actually sell ingredients to
your Sims.

I should note that if you decide to get lazy and create a "neighborhood shop" on
your residential shop just to save having to run to Magic Town to do your
shopping it'll cost you as the prices are doubled on a residential lot.

This first shop includes the common ingredients found on the three magic town
carts with the EXCEPTION of dragon eggs, dragon chew toys and dragon treats. 
Those three items will be available in the next update. I'll also be making a
rare ingredients shop and a wand display that actually sells wands. (I figured
there's no real rush on the last one since they are so easy to get anyway.)

Now that Yahoo sends announcements out letting you know when files have been
added to the group I figured I'd better give you a proper heads up.

I have just uploaded a bunch of files for storage. They are useless to anyone
other than object makers who wish to make displays that sell MM spell and charm
ingredients.

What's more, the files  have just uploaded are all included in the 6-in-1
reagents display that's available on the website so anyone interested in having
them, probably already has.

I've uploaded them to this group as well for organization purposes. This will
allow me to have these (the Common ingredients), 3 the Dragon Pet Shop sales
tokens and the Rare ingredients tokens collected in a single place for object
makers to retrieve (without hunting through the website looking for the various
displays).

ALTHOUGH....
Anyone having trouble purchasing MAGIC BEANS can download this one to fix the
problem. Just overwrite the old one.

I've added a folder for TSO objects to the group here and will add to it now and
again  as I want these items in my game. The graphics are all Maxis' and have
been converted from the TSO format to sprites our game can use by Peter of
Atelier Quebec. He posted nearly 100 objects worth of these converted files up
for any/everyone to use. *cheer*

At any rate I've added the 2x2 tile fountain. Pictures are included in the
folder for anyone unfamiliar with the stone fountain.

I also replaced the dragon treats purchase tokens.  I'd doofed them up and they
were selling bags of one treat instead of five. That's been fixed.

inspire some interest so I'll honestly try to get to that.

I added a black eyed, black lipped face wearing a gypsy scarf.  The mesh is not
included.
The mesh required is the faerie queen mesh available at Sam's Sims (the url is
provided). If you have a different Faerie Queen playable mesh installed already
you can just rename these BMPS to match that

-- B0WHFA BODY (FEMALE ADULT) --

I added the dark and medium skin tones for the playable "Witch" dress at Sam's
Sims (where the light skin tone can be found along with the mesh.)

I also did a few recolors of the skin adding a sorta jacket thing over it to add
some color. The result is nice but not especially "witchy".  All three skin
tones for each of the three colors is available. Sams Sims mesh is not included
in these zips.

-- WIZARD SKINS (MALE ADULT) --

These zips are actually just 3 wizard robes.
I've recolored each of them about a bajillion times and then tripled them for
all body types resulting in so many zips.

You're best bet is to swing by the photo album first, and take a look at all of
them there. This will give you a perfect sense them and show you clearly that it
really is only 3 robes when you get down to it:

Robe 1 is very plain and comes in 6 colors.
Robe 2 is fairly plain but has a large frog clasp pattern down the front. This
also comes in 6 colors.
Robe 3 is a robe on top of another robe and the color combinations went
completely out of control on this one. A jewel medallion at the chest makes this
one a little bit snazzier than the others, I guess.

Even so all three robes are low key. They are intended for crowds ... Townies or
a Wizard Guild (with a full house of folks milling about) or Casual Fridays.

THE MESHES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

BOTH FIT MESHES came with Deluxe. Anyone who hasn't got deluxe content in their
game can downloaded an extracted copy (renamed to be mac friendly) from the
folder with the skins. Everyone else can ignore those files.

THE SKN AND FAT MESHES are ones Jack Wolfsim made to compliment the maxis one.
They can be downloaded from the Jack Wolfsims Mesh-Projekt Archive at Magnolia

My apologies if having so many zips on a yahoo group is awkward. I'd originally
packaged them for a webpage and it was my third time packaging them so I was not
about to do it again!  Plus if we ever decide to add Magic Town to the Themed
sets I'll be able to add these without re-re-re-re-re-packaging them.

Kid versions are being made (I already converted the meshes to a Unisex child
mesh, in fact) and will be uploaded as well (with a lot less recolors, methinks)

While I was about disassembling the Magic Theme collection I realized there's no
category that would suit Melissa's Midnight Magic sets that were hosted at
Deviant Sim so I've added them to the yahoo group's Files section.

The set is broken into 3 parts, a study, a workshop, and a wine cellar. A great
purple and black/grey set, this, weighing it at 35 object, all told. Each part
did had a few Needful Things based objects which I've replaced with family
friendly versions.

I've also uploaded a few (green and grey) walls and floors she made to go with
Creepy's extensive Witch set (no longer available).

All of this has been placed into a "Downloads by DSCali" folder. Images can be
found in the folder with the zips and in the photoalbum of the same name.

The graphics are from Parsimonious' Something Familiar Petshop and altered to
reflect the new purchases: Dragon Treats (which sell UL treats too), Dragon Chew
toys(which sell UL toys too), and (my favorite of the three) Dragon nests.

I liked the Dragon Egg Incubation Display so much I made it so you can place it
in your Sims' homes as decor as well.

I've uploaded  another DSCali set (ssw_DSCali_deepseafoam.zip ) that was
originally on the (now defunct) Deviant Sim website.  As with the others all
adult objects have been replaced with Family Friendly clones.

We've had just an endtable in the Files section fro some years now since the
original one had an Object ID conflict with an apartment hacked object Calisims
made. I've incorporated that "fixed" endtable into this set zip

Everything else is exactly the same so anyone who got the set from Deviant Sim
needn't redownload it from here.

I've updated my computer. If I can actually get myself to sit down long enough,

available at this group and the metric ton of un-or-nearly-finished,

    Sims are more inclined to Make this bed then usual, particularly when it's
their own bed.

    As with the Atelier Quebec Bunkbeds, you must keep the tile in front of the
ladder clear so  the Sim has space to climb up into the bad. You must also keep
one tile to the side (of the middle tile) clear so they have somewhere to stand
while making the bed. (Some beds may have a custom "make bed" that do not
require this)

New hacked appliance: fridge + "counter"

Description: 2 tiled refrigerator. Top may be used as a surface by the player
(but Sim use is disabled).  Requires custom animations (included) for adults to
stoop and retrieve food.

AS-IS info:  I forget if this counts as a cheap, moderate, or expensive fridge.
(Probably cheap.)  Functions perfectly but both the custom animations and the
graphics for the white "base" are rough and imperfect.


===STOVE===

(A more basic version of the one offered with the Nearly Napa kitchen set and
only grills burgers, no custom foods needed.)

Description: Stove and BBQ Grill combined into a single appliance. Using this
appliance will raise the Sim's Cooking skill by a very small amount up to (but
not higher than) 8.5 points.  Appliance never causes fires.

AS-IS Info:
The graphics aren't the greatest on the white base.  Z buffer probably needs
some work to make the cooking pot sit correctly.

The dragons are new NPCS using the Maxis Mesh. The three bundled with the

there's constant noise from this object; Never finished graphics

A DIY/Hobby Miniatures building kit (mechanics Skill) has been uploaded to

Description: A "kit" that may be placed on the floor or any surface. The Sims
uses the kit, earning mechanical points, to create a miniature house.  When kit
is on a surface Sims need to stand in front of it to work on it.

  The resulting house is placed on the floor and then may be kept as a decoration
(players must place it somewhere) or sold. If the sim cannot place the completed
model down somewhere it will be sold automatically.   Models made by Sims with 6
points or higher mechanical skill will get a drastically larger payout (maxing
out at 166 per house).

EZ-Clone object - the kit and model house are bundled into a single iff file. As
such 3rd party programs will falsely state there is an error.

AS-IS info:  This one is a lot more flawed than the previous upgrades.

For one thing, the kids' animations are off when the object is on a surface. 
They use animations from the easel which means they reach to a much higher
points (over the current graphics, in fact) than the adults do.

There's also several graphics problems, most of which would not effect a clone (
MOST). The graphics are just placeholder graphics using a quickie set of images
Aunt B threw together. The Z's are off,  This is a 4 rotation base but all of
the rotations use a copy of the same image and the third and fourth sprites are
flipped when they should not be (you'll notice they are then also "flipped" in
tmog so they display correctly).

The payout amounts never got smoothed out. They are based on the skill of the
Sim that finishes the piece; The payouts for a Sim that is below 6 points is
extremely low (below 10 simoleons), jumping up in value suddenly at approx. 6.5
points; The max. payout is 166 simoleons.

White Stone patio counter set & 2 Nearly Napa fridges and nectar Bar have been

Basic counter with matching  a nectar bar and minifridge; The Nectar Bar makes a
unique base for object makers since the drinks and glasses have been lowered to
counter height and each of the stored nectar bottles has been shifted to match
the counter shape; The refridgerator is a 2 tiled and the top may be used as a
surface by the player (but Sim use is disabled). It requires custom animations
(included) for adults to stoop and retrieve food.

AS-IS info: Graphics need more polishing up; Handle on the mini fridge door is
missing (a glitch inherited from the Maxis bar)

Zip also includes ssw_napa_kitchenshelf_builtin.iff, a hacked refrigerator that
appears to be shelves embedded in the wall (but does not actually require a
wall);  Also includes a "Study Cooking" interaction for anyone under 10 points
of cooking. Sims may choose to study cooking (free will) for fun if their
motives are high enough.

Object makers will note that as a shelf version of a fridge there's no door
opening animations or electric noises and, despite it's unique shape, there is
no "floating food" problem. The "chips" snack has been replaced with a fruit
cake slice.  Designed especially as a base for period or fantasy "appliances".  
The "Study Cooking" feature can be disabled by simply unchecking it in the TTAB
(Interactions Menu).

AS-IS info:  Originally was going to offers a visual  indication of when the
family is running low on money, and another when the Sims were too poor to make
a meal.  The graphics are in there (inflating  the file size) but the feature
itself was never implemented. Feel free to finish that off, remove the extra
graphics, or convert the whole thing to a 3-in-1 object.

Zip includes three shelving units that look like 3 steps that display small
curio-sized items. NOTE: Sims will not use these shelves for their souvenirs or
awards, but you can decorate on them.

One of these shelves is a sort of "antique", brown look.
Another is a metallic ("steel") and glass look.
The third is a match for the japanese coffee table from Deluxe.

The fourth file is a single tiled coffee table that also matches the Japanese
coffee table from Deluxe.


AS-IS INFO:

I THINK the latter it's just a functioning coffee table. it might have a few
extra container slots built in, though, since I had grander plans for both of
these surfaces.

All four objects are slightly oversized so that they tile when placed next to
each other (allowing you to make a long bank of shelves).  I never finished
finagling the Z buffer so that it would not clip AND not bleed AND not clip or
bleed with any of the little objects placed upon it in any of the 7 container
slots/positions.  As such they bleed forward through walls on the sides (the
worst side is shown in the preview picture but it does something similar on the
other side as well.)

NPC objects include an EZ-Clone Pizza Dude, A cashier that also sells UL tonic,
and a modern "scullery maid".

The "scullery" Maid uses a spray can for roaches, tends plants, and fills pet
bowls, along with washing dishes and other light housework stuff. Her sink sits
on a counter.

The cashier reads books and tends garden plots between sales. He can also sell
UL tonic. The cash register is a cash box using MM animations, Only one cashier
is associated with this object.

HOME BUSINESS OBJECT: Visiting Sims can purchase produce to take home or snack
on the produce immediately.  (Nothing is actually placed in the Sims'
inventory.)
ON LOCATION LOTS: Townies will appear to purchased produce from this decorative
display case. Your own Sims may also buy snacks and eat them immediately.
(Nothing is actually placed in the Sims' inventory.)

The hunger boost from this snack is small, but is much more substantial than an
UL pastry.


AS-IS NOTE:
Residential Sims must buy a grapes snack as a chips alternative even if they are
considered the "owner" of the fruit stand.

SIDE NOTE:
Bag of Trick has a similarly hacked stand that sells strawberries. I forget if I
made that one 2-in-1. It was day 24? of Ruth's advent calendar last (? the year
before?) I think.

I created a new folder for Pre-Released Bases. Nothing in this folder has any
value for players but object makers might find it useful.
I have uploaded a few (4) meal bases and an EZ-Clone pizza delivery dude for
folks who'd like to make custom meals.

These meal bases work equally well on residential and location lots (unlike most
maxis based meals), don't have any side effects like party hats or sleepiness,
and I trimmed extra sprites and BHAVs out.
1) One of the meals works the way the Maxis one does,
2) the other meal  is designed to be taken straight from a fridge or cupboard
(no cooking etc).
3) one snack works just like the chips
4) The other is more like fruitcake without the hand washing.

A few doorways that look as if the fabric of the tent is pushed back to make an
opening.  Theses zips include a matching tent WLL file.  These doors are hacked
as exterior intersecting doors (see the description of the  hack below in Bases)

Additional fabric wlls are also available. They are all based on Maxis' white
draped wall from SuperStar.
"Blank Canvas" in 16 recolors - some shades are similar. Delete those you do not
want.
"Drape" is a textured fabric in 4 colors. Each color has an exterior and
interior wall.

BMPS of the WLLs have been included in all zips. They may be used to preview the
walls and/or as textures to make additional objects and walls.  I have several
more walls in BMP form that may be uploaded.

2 Hacked Doors; One of the doors has an extra hack making it more appropriate as
an "exterior" or "gate" door

(Both) INTERSECTS with itself and other objects so may be used in tight spaces
and corners.

(Both) NO DOORBELL: If used near the mailbox Sims will come to the doorway and
stand there waiting to be greeted, instead of ringing a bell.

(Exterior Only) NEW INTERACTIONS: "Unlock" interaction turns this into an
Auto-greet door. "Lock" Interaction returns it to normal.

NOTE TO PLAYERS: I started to make these 'objects' instead of 'bases' so the
exterior door has the begins of unique graphics. It was going to be a gate(way)
for maxis' picket fence.  The fence posts are in place; As such you might feel
it has value in your game.

Great News! Aunt B made a circus tent window to go with the gold door and WLL
and she's shared it with us all here. I've uploaded it to the diyTent subfolder.

It was originally created as a Dating Service computer, requested by Liz of
Moppet Sims, but I've toned it down a smidge so no one would accidentally ruin
any existing friendships.

This object does NOT put you on a Hot Date date.

It is now basically a teleporter that teleports a semi-random Sim into your
home. If your relationship with that sim is under 36 it'll set it to 36 to get
you started. Your Sim is charges 111 for using the service.



NOTE TO CREATORS -

Another hacker can add the necessary romance to return it to it's "Dating
Service" function. I a little bit of disabled code in there for you to poke if
you want.  For example " lines in Relationship (var 1 of stack object to me :=
1)" in BHAV 4153 set up an initial crush ( BCON 4098:1 was at 60, then BTW),
though I found (the now disabled) BHAV 4266 ("push Kiss") usually broke that,
even when neither party objected to such a forward greeting.

I THINK I filtered NPCs out now. They were fun to have show up as matches but
several of them are coded to leave a lot then there's nothing for them to do
(like retrieve  a sim-soul). Something to keep in mind if you opt to add them to
the mix.

Three rather simple items uploaded today:  A recolor of the castle desk; an
anywhere bar/punchbowl with a slightly different look; a recolored camping tent
hacked to be used on residential lots

The desk is purple (rather grapey) with glowy stars on the surface and is found

The anywhere bar functions the same as the one on the website
  (found at http://woobsha.com/entertaining2.html for anyone not familiar with
the object)
  (making a nice punchbowl alternative but also allowing sims to just grab a
single drink) but this one retains the wooden shelf of glasses behind the
bottles. It's been uploaded to
Files > Pre-released Objects > ssw_Appliances

This is a recolored vacation tent that may also be used on residences or on
Vacation Island. I do not know if it works on other lot types - you'd need to
get a hacked rental shack to test that out.
It's recolored purple with some stripes and would probably be appropriate for
both circus lots and gypsy lots (if your gypsies don't mind tents) but it does
still have sand underneath and the same camping cots can be seen inside.

EXTRA NOTE:
This tent was originally going to be a lot more than just "home enabled" but did
not get finished. As such there's stray garbage left inside of the object and it
