This group is for fans of Sports Illustrated's Decathlon game.

The original version of Decathlon was produced by Sports Illustrated in 1972. It featured 7 famous decathletes. In 1973, all Sports Illustrated games were repackaged and Decathlon's name was changed to Track Meet. Avalon Hill released a 3rd edition in 1984, returning to the name Decathlon.

Avalon Hill never produced new Decathlon charts. A few years ago, one true believer put together charts for Avilov and Jenner (available in the Files section). Decathlon used to be featured at the annual World Boardgaming Championships, where they came up with the Handicaps table (also available in the Files section), but the game was eventually dropped. While other SI games like Superstar Baseball and Paydirt live on thanks to the hard work of a few people who continue to put together outstanding new charts, Decathlon seems to have faded into oblivion.

Until now, that is. The point of this group and these new charts is to breathe life into this great old game. So download the new stuff, roll a few games, and let me know what you think!
