We're looking for inmates at both Bedlam (the institution) and Genosha (island
with the most violent housed on it) as well as staff for Bedlam. We're open to
alternate versions of established chars or totally original creations!

Description: In the wake of a series of violent attacks that many assumed were
brought on by mutants, the government threw together a hasty declaration: all
mutants were to be rounded up, registered, and filtered into institutions, where
they would be removed from society to ensure a better quality of life for the
human population.

During the initial evaluation stages, it became apparent that certain mutants
would be a dangerous liability to keep around. As a result, it was decided that
those mutants with a particularly violent gift and / or a penchant for criminal
activity would be shipped to an island known as Genosha. Heavily secured to
avoid anyone escaping, the island is completely isolated and self-sufficient.
After being dropped off, the inhabitants are left to their own devices and are
forced to fend for themselves if they want to survive.

Joining: Moderator approval is required to join, so a writing sample is required
if I do not already know your writing. Details about the sample will be mailed
to you when you apply for membership. We are looking for active, adult players
only. This list will have content that is violent, sensual, and likely extreme
in other ways.
