Kerii blinked his pink eyes at Angel, and said nothing about the flirtatious bat of her eye lashes. In fact, he seemed hardly phased by it. He just turned his head and mewed strongly, "At the moment you can address me as milord, but it doesn't quite make sense, as we used to be friends." The young boy Mew crossed his arms, and in an innocent voice that very much reflected his old young female safe, he said, "We are still friends, right?"

The way the young tom saw it, was that if someone became friends at anytime, they'd be friends forever. They could drift apart, and be miles upon miles away, but never truly forget the other. It was how he felt about all those young Zigzagoons, how he felt about the Pikachu, how he felt about his parents. Maybe one day, he'll even think of the Drowzee as a part of his life that would never truly go away.

He then looked at Cloud, disturbed by their talking. He gently brushed her side, stroking her as if she were a kit, and he was an older sibling looking out for her while she slept. Kerii blinked his eyes at her, and smiled softly, before looking back at Angel. Cloud was his best friend, and Angel was his friend too,  in some way, shape or form. So perhaps they could one day become a circle of friends, daring one another into danger, or leading each other into a grand adventure.

Angel recoiled her tail to her side with an air of serine grace. Her large blue eyes blinked thoughtfully for but a moment. She was a skilled actress in the art of feminine decorum despite being a boy upon their encounter this morning. "I can take on many forms, as both of you can take on your forms," she said answering his question with another question of riddles. "If I was such a Pokémon, then would it be to your pleasure or distaste milord and milady?" she asked with a flirtatious bat of her long eye lashes.

The sound of their voices however had begun to disturb Cloud who sleepily wiped her tail beneath her eyes to remove a bit of sand dust. Her ears curled inwardly as she tried to turn away from the sounds to gain a bit more sleep. In fact she and Angel appeared polar opposites despite having identical beauties, for the one held beautiful grace that befitted a princess while the other the awkwardness of a boy who had had such graceful beauty for but a single day. And that difference was what Angel planned to use!

That through Kerii off. "Used to play....all the time?" His vision clouded and he thought back to when his parents went missing, while he was in his girl body, and how he had come to play with all the ruin Pokemon. His eyes went wide as memory after memory came to him. He remembered being a young Oddish, gossiping to a Pikachu about mysterious voices heard in the ruins, clearly hinting towards himself. He also remembered all the times he'd become a Zigzagoon and played with other Zigzagoons and even an Eevee a few times. It all came clearly to him, almost as if it happened yesterday...

~Returning Memory: Eevee and Zigzagoon~

The young Mew had become a Zigzagoon and she was playing around with other Zigzagoons, when along came the Eevee. One look and Kerii leaped at the Eevee, and it was an instant wrestling match. In that match, an kindred flame of friendship was born. The two were destined to meet again, sometime, somewhere, but definitely again, and Kerii welcomed it. After loosing his, her at the time, parent's, she welcomed any contact with any Pokemon.

~End memory~

A dreamy look had entered the his eyes, and he stared at the pink Mew, until slowly he came back to his senses. Thoughts crossed his mind. 'No way! It can't be! Could it? Well it's very possible because he is a master of illusion and I have never seen any other Eevee, and that one had disappeared a little while ago.' He flattened his ears. "Y-You take the forms of any Pokemon right? Then tell me, are you the Eevee that had played with me before I came into this body, and while I was a Zigzagoon?" It was a bold question. He gave away a lot of information that the Pokemon could use to betray him with later. At that moment, Kerii didn't care. All he wanted was to know if this Zorua truly was his friend, his companion, from that time before the wish, before Cloud, when he was recently orphaned.

Angel laid her ears back low to her head with a silent cheerful bob of her head.
Then without warnings, the beautiful feline leapt at the tom to lightly caress
her head under his own. For beneath her pink fur there was far more to the girl
than met the eyes. She knew quite well what would get the attention of an
attractive male. Even one with as unique a background as Kerii she thought with
an adoring smile.

With the brush from Kerii's tail however, Cloud lightly batted it away with her
own tail. Her two paws gently rose to rub her sleepy eyes as she sat up. And
just in time to see a copy of her, or was it a copy of Kerii? All hanging on the
blue feline like a married couple. She was not certain why but somehow the sight
of another female clinging to Kerii bothered her mildly. A deep red blush
emblazoned her cheeks.

"W-Who is she Kerri-chan…?" she asked sleepily. Her tail wiping away the
remaining sand dust from her eyes although from her less than modest posture she
was clearly still sleepy. The question greeted in a way neither Cloud nor Kerii
may have expected as Angel leaned up to steal a seductive kiss. From within her
eyes a powerful Attract passed between the two felines in an effort to bond
Kerii to only Angel.

Kerii let out a mewl of surprise the moment Angel leaped at him. His face lit up into a bright red brush, and he was struggling to speak. "A-Angel?" He managed to get out before the young she-cat kissed him. His pink rose colored eyes stretched wide with surprise, and his first reaction was to pull away, especially because Cloud was watching them. For some odd reason, it bothered him very badly for Cloud to see this, and that thought, like a match next to a blaze was slowly being consumed by the attract. He felt like he was slipping away to a zombie, that only ever thought of Angel. Angel's many forms, but none as beautiful as the pink Mew form she was in right then.

That was, until the thought of Cloud in his old body, which Angel was temporarily shaped as, brought him back. He felt like he was dragged out of dark depths, and seeing light after a long time. The sky blue tom blinked his eyes slowly, and then he came to attention.  He grabbed Angel by her shoulders gently, and moved her back a bit, so that he could stand. He pulled his paws away, and awkwardly said, "Um, Angel, that was," He was searching for the right words, and then mewed, "I mean, I know we're friends, but that was quite sudden." Then he looked at Cloud. "Cloud, to answer your question, this is Angel. She is a friend of mine."

Angel felt surprised to say the least when Kerii pulled away unaffected by her
attraction. A part of it only increased her interest in the male feline. Her
tail lashed to the side only once before she drooped both of her ears forward
with an apologetic style of pose. "You mean you did not like it, milord?" she
asked after only a brief pause and the introduction to Cloud who she viewed more
of as a rival than friend in her present form. After all despite Cloud's mental
condition she was still another lovely feline and rival.

"You two know each other?" Cloud asked with partial confusion. She had thought
Kerii avoided contact with other Pokémon during her past. Besides right now
Kerii was inside of HER body and she definitely did not recognize the other
female. And then there were her new female instincts that considered Angel more
of a competitor mixed the nervousness she felt since Angel had been glaring at
her since she had first awoken. How long had she been asleep anyway given how
friendly these two appeared to be?!

Grr! Girls could be so confusing. Cloud did not even understand girls like Angel
when she was a girl. And she felt a little at a loss for words for how to
respond. Angel was not giving her much time to wrap her mind around the
situation, as the other pink feline slipped her tail under Kerii's chin to turn
him toward herself with an alluring posture. And as soon as Kerii glanced in her
direction, whether willfully or maybe with frustration, she tried her cutest
Charm to win affection and make poor Cloud even more jealous.

Kerii's attention was entirely on Cloud as he tried to explain the situation. "Well before we got switched, I used to play with the pokemon in the ruins, but not as myself. I'd take the form of another poke-" He didn't get a chance to finish explaining as he felt Angel's tail under his chin. Rose colored eyes looked into crystal blue ones and he felt himself fall for the charm of the alluring female. His blue face turned a warm dark rose color and he found it hard to look away, to even speak. But when he did, he seemed to be talking as if in a trance, "Angel? W-When did you get so pretty?"

The charm was working its effect, and it felt like the only thing that mattered to the tom, was to never look away from Angel. Pay attention to no one but Angel. Cloud was like a fleeting memory that was growing fainter and fainter the more he looked at Angel. Also fading was the connections and ties to his old body. If he forgot Cloud, he forgot his old body too. And then, quite possibly, they'd be stuck in their opposite bodies forever.

Angel purred quietly as she blinked her large beautiful blue eyes toward the
object of her affection. Her plan was working like clockwork. And she allowed
herself to smile as she allowed her tail to wrap around his own tail with an
affectionate loop. "Do I please you, milord?" she asked with a curious tone of
voice that spoke layers of depth to the casual observer and poor Cloud who
stared with confusion. For a kind compliant boy was exactly what the disguise
pink feline desired at this stage of her little romantic game.

"What… What did you do to him…?" Cloud asked eyeing Angel with a more suspicious
stare. And for one moment she felt torn between the nervousness evoked by the
presence of the other female and a deep loathing for the way Kerii was behaving
toward the other feline. Issues of romance were foreign ideas to poor Cloud so
when Kerii had being kind to her yesterday she had mistook it merely as an
advantage of their situation. And yet she knew she would be uncomfortable if
Kerii acted that way toward herself.

One of the blue feline's ears flicked at the sound of Cloud's voice, but he could not turn away from Angel. Her voice was closer, and her tail was brushing his. "M-Milord?" He was now stuttering, almost shy. "T-That's a little bit formal don't you think?" Maybe it was the real mind of Kerii speaking right then, or another part of the charm speaking. He then continued speaking, "You don't need to call me milord." A voice in the back of his mind piped up quite loudly, 'Aren't I a girl at heart anyway?'

The moment he thought that, he became slightly more aware. He closed his eyes, almost as if in pain. 'W-What's happening to me?' Kerii opened his eyes, with a deep red blush across his face. He mumbled a quiet sorry, before turning the tables and pinning Angel down beneath him. He closed his eyes, then looked at hers. "Tell me the truth Angel, what did you do?" The tom's voice was shaking, almost as if he was afraid of what he was doing. In his mind he was shouting, 'I haven't hurt her... I don't want to hurt her... I'm just getting information right...? Oh why me!? I'm too confused to deal with this right now!' He squeezed his eyes shut, and his grip slackened, it was almost as if someone had used confusion on him.

Angel remained elegant as her paws rested upon her gently folded legs. Her ears
drooped low to display submissive adoration toward the beautiful blue feline.
"As you wish," she giggled with response to his first question. Her eye caught
the upset stare from Cloud who up until now had remained relatively silent
because of her confusion. This was progressing perfectly. With a little charm
spell she had Kerii within the palm of her paw and a confused Cloud growing
envious.

So when Kerii suddenly tackled her to the ground. His attempt to assert himself
with an innocent question only prompted her to lay her ears back further with a
submissive penchant. And then without warning she leaned forward to steal a
single kiss from his lips. A calculated motion that had Cloud's entire face
blush a crimson red from embarrassment or maybe frustration. "I love you," she
said softly pulling her lips away with traces of a second Attract passing
in-between.

However before Kerii could answer her confession of love, something unexpected
happened. A powerful psychic pushed the two apart. Angel blasted toward a nearby
tree but she slowed the flight with her own psychic. Her eyes instantly directed
toward Cloud who narrowed her eyes at the other female who had taken her form.
Cloud did not quite understand her actions herself at the time. It was more of
an instinctive desire to tear the two apart as she did not like it one bit!

"You will not lay another paw on Kerri-chan!" the lovely feline said with clear
anger within her voice. Her lovely tail held at her side with precision. A
psychic aura radiated outward to match her mood. She had not liked what she had
seen. Angel had Kerri under some type of spell. And this time she had even seen
whatever the attack was for a split second. It made her feel upset.

The blast had blown the pale colored Mew into a backwards somersault in air. The tom didn't recover in time and hit the ground with his stomach. The Attract was being processed in his mind, as if trying to understand what's going on. Cloud's voice echoed in his ears. 'C-Cloud?' His eyes opened slightly, and in the blurry landscape, he saw the two felines. One against the tree, and the other standing with an aggresive posture. Kerii raised his head, blinked his eyes a couple of times, before finally sitting up. He held his cranium with one of his paws.

The scene before him began to process in his cluttered and confused mind. 'A-Angel's been hurt? B-By Cloud? W-Why?' He blinked his eyes slowly, still trying to register everything that was happening. 'A-And I like Angel right?' It was a thought induced by the Attract, but Kerii wouldn't know that. He wouldn't remember having Attract being used on him. A small groan came from the tom. 'Ugh.... G-gotta stop Cloud... B-Before someone gets seriously hurt...' The blue Mew got to his paws and stumbled over to Cloud.

'Why does she want to fight Angel anyway? What has Angel done in the first place?' Kerii laid a gentle paw on Cloud's shoulder. "C-Cloud? We need to talk." He blinked his rose colored eyes a couple of times, trying to get rid of the groggy feeling. "W-Why are you attacking Angel? S-She hasn't hurt me." His voice was shaking slightly, but it was going stronger since he was standing. Even his rose colored eyes began to glow brighter, but they still had a glaze over them as an affect from the Attract.

Angel remained elegant as her paws rested upon her gently folded legs. Her ears drooped low to display submissive adoration toward the beautiful blue feline. "As you wish," she giggled with response to his first question. Her eye caught the upset stare from Cloud who up until now had remained relatively silent because of her confusion. This was progressing perfectly. With a little charm spell she had Kerii within the palm of her paw and a confused Cloud growing envious.

So when Kerii suddenly tackled her to the ground. His attempt to assert himself with an innocent question only prompted her to lay her ears back further with a submissive penchant. And then without warning she leaned forward to steal a single kiss from his lips. A calculated motion that had Cloud's entire face blush a crimson red from embarrassment or maybe frustration. "I love you," she said softly pulling her lips away with traces of a second Attract passing in-between.

However before Kerii could answer her confession of love, something unexpected happened. A powerful psychic pushed the two apart. Angel blasted toward a nearby tree but she slowed the flight with her own psychic. Her eyes instantly directed toward Cloud who narrowed her eyes at the other female who had taken her form. Cloud did not quite understand her actions herself at the time. It was more of an instinctive desire to tear the two apart as she did not like it one bit!

"You will not lay another paw on Kerri-chan!" the lovely feline said with clear anger within her voice. Her lovely tail held at her side with precision. A psychic aura radiated outward to match her mood. She had not liked what she had seen. Angel had Kerri under some type of spell. And this time she had even seen whatever the attack was for a split second. It made her feel upset.

Cloud lashed her tail sharply to the side when Angel turned her eyes toward
Kerii for even a split second. Her secondary assault however was interrupted
when Kerii suddenly moved in-between herself and her rival for his affection.
She felt as equally confused about the situation. Why was he protecting Angel
when she was using deceitful techniques? And for that matter why did she care so
much what the blue feline did? It was like her new female instincts had altered
her brain!

"K-Kerii…" she said as tears began to form within her eyes. "H-How could you…?!"
she said in a deeply hurt tone of voice. It was then that Angel appeared at
Kerii's side to caress her head on his shoulder and maintain her attraction
grasp. "You… You dummy!" she said as she whipped a paw at his cheek for a
Double-Slap sting. "She is only using you! But, if you love Angel so much then,
then fine!" she said with a flurry of emotions as she spun mid-air and began
flying away.

Kerii was equally confused. His face stung from where the feline had slapped him, but more importantly, he was hurting in his heart at having Cloud run away from him. It was the final thing to push him out of the Attract's power. The nuzzle and warm touch suddenly seemed to be a weight of a thousand pounds. 'R-Run away from me? No! That's not what I want!' The lighter colored Mew gently brushed off Angel, and he looked at her. "Stay here. I'll deal with you later." His voice had become serious, and he sounded stronger, like his usual self.

He took off at a high speed, in a desperate attempt to catch up with the female. "Cloud stop! Don't run away from me!" He closed the gap between them quickly, and then lunged toward her. They collided, but before they could hit the ground and be hurt, a blue orb appeared, and they landed on the soft bouncy bubble. Kerii was pinning the pink feline down, and as soon as he realized he was, his face turned redder than normal. "N-now." He gasped out. "Why did you run away from me?" His eyes glittered with sadness. "I'm afraid your mad at me. Did I do something wrong?" The poor boy was clueless about what happened with the Attract. It was almost as if he had no memory of it whatsoever.

Cloud mewled with surprise when Kerii suddenly blocked her escape. She darted
down only to be intercepted by the blue feline. Inside of her old body, Kerii
was naturally faster. He was also strong enough to easily force her to the
ground. And she despised the powerlessness of the new situation. She struggled
to squirm free from his embrace until she had worn out herself down. A deep
loathing filled her tear-filled red eyes as she looked to the side unable to
free herself at all.

"No! Let go, I hate you!" she cried desperate to break free from his grapple.
Her smaller female form and diminished strength however made it quite
impossible. "A-All I wanted to do was to stop her from using that Attract," she
said nearly choking on her own tears. "And you are hurting my paws!" she wept
uncontrollably as her struggles caused her paws to be contorted sorely. Her
unstable emotions radiated a confused cloud of instinctual fear, deep jealousy,
and mild betrayal.

Kerii's sad face grew to despair. "Oh no... no no" He scrambled away from Cloud. The blue bubble popped under her, as his emotions began to reflect her own. "I didn't mean to hurt you at all!" He curled into a ball away from her. His blue ears were flat against his head, and he tucked his paws tightly underneath him, and wrapped his tail tightly around him. He looked almost like a blue house cat crouching. Under his breath he kept muttering no over and over.

The tom shut his eyes tightly. "S-She used attract on me?" The pale colored tom tried hard to remember, but it was like trying to see through a dense fog. It wouldn't work. He looked at the terrified girl in front of him. "C-Cloud. You gotta understand I had no control over myself! I wouldn't ever do anything like that in front of you." He held back from saying 'unless its to you.' But then that might scare her even more. Instead he tried to make himself smaller and less threatening.

Meanwhile, the approach of two unlikely Mew crew closer and closer as the seconds passed by. A very elegant, almost royal like mother, and an over protective father. The female Mew meowed quietly to her mate, "Oh dear... I do hope she is still here. We've been wondering for far too long." Her tail was curled behind her, and did not sag near the ground. Her ears were perked up straight, and as she floated over the ground, her front paws crossed neatly over her chest, and her hind paws hung behind her. Her sky colored eyes glittered warmly in the afternoon light as she hummed a song that would seem very familiar to a certain Mew.

Cloud crawled free the instant he scrambled away from the grapple. Her ears
drooped forward a considerable degree to display her upset emotional state. A
single sense of her aura would have likely sent a lesser male fleeing to a safer
distance from an irritated female feline. One part of her wished to believe his
excuse. It was the part that wished to allow her frustrations to subside into
his warm embrace. But a whirlwind of feminine instincts said otherwise.

"Humph!" she sighed aloud with a tone that said more than a thousand words. She
was hurt. A mild sting from her paws as she groomed the fur back into position
was nothing compared to the betrayal she felt from the way Kerii had acted with
Angel earlier. It was not even what the blue feline had done with the other
female. It was the way he had treated her moments ago. Holding her to the ground
when he should know how it felt. And then he blamed everything upon Angel.

All of her lovely pink furs were ruffled from her struggle. Little did either
realise the listening two felines could mistake all those ruffled pink furs for
an immoral male behavior. And her seated posture was far from the elegant poise
that an ordinary female upbringing would produce.

Kerii frowned. He didn't know what to say to try and calm her down. 'If I was that upset... what would I want?' In his mind, the blue Mew began to work out the situation. He imagined himself back in his girl body, with the male walking up to him. The male then said, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't want you running away from me. Angel is not of my concern... I only care about you." Immediately Kerii snapped that idea away with a shake of his head. 'Absolutely not! There is no way I'm doing that! It's waaayyyy too awkward!'

A sigh escaped from the tom and he flopped on the ground on his stomach with a troubled look on his face. "What a mess..." he muttered under his breath. He began to act like a child again, and rolled on the ground, collecting dust on his fur. 'Maybe if I act stupid she'll laugh... That's good enough for me,' the warm thought bubbled in his mind, and then he began to paw at the sky, that was, if a startled cry hadn't startled him into a stiff stillness.

"Kerii?!" Came the surprised cry of a mother. Her elegant sleek paws went to her mouth, and her blue eyes stretched wide. "Oh my dear baby!" She hustled over to the quivering female Mew, and began to lick her fur all over. "What in the world happened to you?" She held Cloud's head in her paws, and looked into her eyes. "Oh Kerii!" The pink Mew hugged the younger female tightly before addressing the dust covered blue Mew across the clearing.

"Dear, I think you need to have a word with that young male over there." Her voice had changed to a sharp tone, and as she looked back at Cloud, she began to address what was wrong. "Now Kerii, I know you just had an awful ordeal, but you must sit up straight with your tail curled around your paws. It simply isn't ladylike to be slouched over like that. Perk up your ears too! It makes hearing much better!" As she told her "daughter" what to do, she began to flatten and smooth out the ruffled fur with her soft, velvet like tongue.

Cloud continued to hold herself with an upset expression. Her ears drooped
forward more with irritation when Kerii appeared to be neglecting her entirely
to play around on the grass. For some reason it never even occured to the young
female that Kerii had been playing around precisely because of her. Her lovely
paws rested upon her respective toes with her beautiful tail sprawled out to the
side immodestly. It was a posture she broke only slightly with absolute surprise
when the strange new female appeared.

"What are you doing?!" she mewled with alarm and confusion when the other female
began to lecture her posture like a child. The sensation of the feline's warm
tongue against her fur caused her to teleport a couple of feet away with her
question. Her lovely ears drooped forward only a bit this time to display her
confusion and irritation at the interruption. "And what is your problem with the
way I choose to sit?!" she inquired with displaced anger from Kerii toward this
female.

Every single aspect of her posture resembled an emotional female on the
defensive. Her tail was held loosely off to the side with a quivered tense
posture. Her ears lay forward slightly to display her disagreement with the
situation on an emotional level. And those ruffled furs fulfilled an odd
masculine appearance for the beautiful pink feline. Honestly what nerve! Showing
up out of the blue to criticize her voluntary slouching, relationship with
Kerii, and response to the situation…

The surprise in the female Mew's eyes outmatched the hurt.  "Oh no.. I've waited too long."  She frowned and looked at her mate, then at the female Mew. "Oh Kerii dearest! It's mommy! We thought we lost you, and we've been searching all over! It occured to us that maybe you were right at home after all so we came here as fast as we could." The mother stared at Cloud for a long time with unblinking blue eyes. "It seems all my lessons have been wasted. You have forgotten them all." Then she swung stinging eyes at Kerii. "Unless that tom made you abandon your manners."

Kerii, who had sat silently the whole time, mostly from shock and wonder now scrambled up in a sitting position. Upon hearing his mother's voice, he reverted back to one of his earliest memories, sitting properly, ears straight up, tail curled neatly around his paws, with an elegant sitting manner. However, on a boy, it looked foolish. He muttered real quietly, which would have angered his mother severely, "M-mom? D-dad?" The disbelief in his voice was heavy, but what he whispered it so softly, that no one could hear it, unless they were right by his mouth.

The annoyed look in the queen's eyes seemed to be quite high because she noted his incorrect posture and the quiet tone of his voice. Immediately, her lecture mode was activated, and she was on her hind legs, with her arms crossed. "Now listen here boy, I don't know your name, but your parents should have taught you the proper young gentleman posture. You are sitting too much like a lady! Back straight, chest out, chin up. Tail in the air behind you held high to show your pride, and strength to be a male."

She seemed to have every single manner memorized in her elegant mind, and as she spoke, her voice rung with authority. Kerii, used to hearing this voice, immediately began to listen, and organized himself in the proper manner. He was too surprised to even think first, or think at all. What was happening right now was beyond anything he had ever imagined.

Cloud continued to hold herself with an upset expression. Her ears drooped forward more with irritation when Kerii appeared to be neglecting her entirely to play around on the grass. For some reason it never even occured to the young female that Kerii had been playing around precisely because of her. Her lovely paws rested upon her respective toes with her beautiful tail sprawled out to the side immodestly. It was a posture she broke only slightly with absolute surprise when the strange new female appeared.

"What are you doing?!" she mewled with alarm and confusion when the other female began to lecture her posture like a child. The sensation of the feline's warm tongue against her fur caused her to teleport a couple of feet away with her question. Her lovely ears drooped forward only a bit this time to display her confusion and irritation at the interruption. "And what is your problem with the way I choose to sit?!" she inquired with displaced anger from Kerii toward this female.

Every single aspect of her posture resembled an emotional female on the defensive. Her tail was held loosely off to the side with a quivered tense posture. Her ears lay forward slightly to display her disagreement with the situation on an emotional level. And those ruffled furs fulfilled an odd masculine appearance for the beautiful pink feline. Honestly what nerve! Showing up out of the blue to criticize her voluntary slouching, relationship with Kerii, and response to the situation…

--- In Realm_light@yahoogroups.com, Kelly Talmud <im2smart4dad@...> wrote:

"Oh Kerii!" The pink Mew hugged the younger female tightly before addressing the dust covered blue Mew across the clearing.Ă‚

Cloud blinked her beautiful blue eyes with absolute confusion. In fact she had
entirely forgotten her fury toward Kerii when faced with this new dilemma. Her
new feminine instincts caused her emotions to shift as rapidly as the wind on a
cool day. It was quite a sight. For her ears now rose to display her curiosity
toward the new situation. Yes. Kerii upset her earlier, but he said sorry,
right? She supposed she could allow him to slide this ONCE after a firm lecture
later tonight.

All of her turmoil of emotions was however soon ended swiftly when the elder
female began to lecture Kerii in her place. A faint laughter escaped her lips as
giggles when the elder female said that Kerii had been sitting like a lady. She
also had to admit that Kerii looked more attractive as he adjusted his posture
according to the firm directives. It was a thought which made the young female
blush mildly as she connected the meaning of a mother with the way she now
appeared.

"Mommy…?" she repeated back quietly to recall the name more than acknowledge her
role as a daughter to the elder feline. It was the first time she had ever heard
the term but its meaning was soon connected to the female parent of a child.
Maybe that was why Kerii had submitted so fast to the posture directives? It was
a thought that did not bring the young girl comfort. All of this sounded
difficult to say the least if even the posture of young ladies and gentlemen had
rules!

unblinking blue eyes. "It seems all my lessons have been wasted. You have
forgotten them all." Then she swung stinging eyes at Kerii. "Unless that tom

Kerii, who had sat silently the whole time, mostly from shock and wonder now
scrambled up in a sitting position. Upon hearing his mother's voice, he reverted
back to one of his earliest memories, sitting properly, ears straight up, tail

The older female Mew glanced back at Cloud. "Mommy will be with you in a moment." A dazzling smile was on the pink Mew's face, but the moment she looked at Kerii, it faded into a frown. She kept her arms crossed as she floated across the clearing to him and circled him. "You listen well for a young scamp." She spat the word like it was venom. "Now, what do you call yourself so I can give you a proper scalding?"

Kerii's jaw dropped. His mind had only just began to process what was going on, and now he was hurt. His own mother was calling him a scamp, even though he was trying very hard to please her. 'M-Might as well please her the best I can.' Suddenly his heart dropped into his stomach. 'Name?! I can't tell her my name is Kerii! S-She'll have a cow!' With a pleading look at Cloud, he then looked at the she-cat, and meowed, "My name is..." He paused, as if a little shy about trusting the elder female, before mewing, "Cloud, ma'am." He kept his ears perked, and flicked his tail behind him. 'Cloud please take that hint!' In the boy's mind he was flailing around and crying out for his friend to take the hint.

The mother seemed satisfied with Kerii's response. "Well Cloud, you seem to know how to speak to your elders properly, but-" she tapped her foot, matching her anger, "you need to learn how to treat a lady. You do not," the she-cat waggled her finger, "Absolutely not! Harm a lady at all!" As she said that, she gave him a look that said 'Do not defy me.' Then she whirled around and floated back over to Cloud.

"Oh Kerii... He didn't do anything too bad to you, did he? Mama will punish him right good if he did." She rubbed her daughter's head lovingly. "You don't need to be afraid. Mom and dad are back now and we're going to take care of you." She gestured for her mate to come over, and then she held his paw while smiling at the younger female Mew with a warm loving look in her pale blue colored eyes.

Cloud blinked her beautiful blue eyes once more with confusion. She felt
confused by why Kerii had used her name instead of his own. It was clear Kerii
had reason to be intimidated by the new feline. Her short duration as a female
had also drastically improved her ability to read the body language of others.
And for the moment she sensed it would be wise to play along for now. So at
least for the present it appeared she would have to play the part of a daughter
until she could ask.

"I can handle myself…" she paused for a moment. Now what was that word? Oh
right! "Mom," she added shortly thereafter before pulling away from the embrace.
She could sense clear as day the love that radiated from the elder female Mew.
It also provided her a unique opportunity to relearn so as to speak what it `was
like to be a girl' from the one who Kerii learned from when she was younger.
Then again, all those differences for something so trivial were intimidating!

Unfortunately her statement was a stark contrast from the reality of her
appearance. Her rough ruffled pink furs suggested she had either been rough
housing or perhaps worse. The bold tone of her voice, more akin to a son than an
unmarried daughter, suggested a poorer upbringing. And perhaps worst of all. Her
lowered loosely held tail suggested a carefree approach to life that any
ordinary female would soon have abandoned given her coming of age and
eligibility as a mate.

A gasp got caught in the older female's throat at the manner of Cloud's speaking, but then she sighed it out, and wore a sad smile. "Oh Kerii... You have a lot to learn in a short amount of time."Your manner of speaking has gotten very poor. But I guess we're partly to blame for leaving you all alone for so long." She looked her daughter over from head to toe, especially sniffing her messy pelt. Kerii's scent was heavy on Cloud's fur, and if it weren't for her elegant, and regal mindset, she might have growled. "A young lady must look her best. I know I taught you how to keep your pelt nice and clean, and lovely." As she said the last word, she shifted ever so slightly that the sunlight fell across her pink fur, and made it seem slick and shiny.

Kerii, not sure of what to say or do, sat completely still. He held his tail high in the air, and flicked it from side to side, to avoid it growing heavy and lay on the ground behind him. He listened to the conversation with a lot of envy thrown at Cloud. The blue Mew had cried when his parents first disappeared, and now for them to return and practically yell at him, he felt like disappearing and not returning until they bothered caring. 'But that's not the way to deal with the situation,' he reasoned with himself, 'I need to stay here for Cloud's sake. She's going to need lessons if she's going to survive as me.' The boy shivered, before sitting up taller with his head higher, and his rosy pink colored eyes unblinking.

Cloud drooped her ears back with an instinctive silence upon hearing the
statement. She was not certain she liked the sound of where this could lead. It
was weird enough to experience these new attractions for… For B-Boys! Now that
she was a female feline. But the thought of even having to alter the way she
behaved appeared quite strange. She simply could not understand why boys and
girls had to behave with a different air of grace. Even if she liked how it made
Kerii appear.

"I… I do?" she inquired with a softer tone of voice. This time relying upon her
more natural soft vocal cords rather than forcing a more dominant style of
voice. She did not know what would be so horrid if she and Kerii simply said
what had happened. It could certainly save both of them some awkward lessons.
Yet something from Kerii's body language said to play along. And with that the
young pink feline softly sighed. It would be a long day after all she could only
imagine.

Seriously! When she had been the boy she had not cared if Kerii had her pelt
clean. Appearing lovely was only something she half cared about now to win his
attention. Her new instincts as a female departed rapidly from those of her
former self. And yet despite the powerful influence of those instincts upon her
fluctuating moods, she had never quite abandoned the casual laid-back side of
her masculinity. It was that which this new feline appeared to wish to remove
forever…

The older feline nodded her head proudly. "Oh yes. You have a lot to learn. A young lady does not stutter, and she does not sigh. A sign of distress is never good to show around a male, unless its the one who cherishes you, and wants to make you happy." She flicked her tail, and eyed Kerii sitting off on his own. He was showing signs of being a nice young male, but she didn't trust him for one heartbeat, because of the way her daughter looked. Slowly she began to register the dust caught in the male's blue fur. 'A shiny with no proper manners. Guess I'll have to mother him for a little while, just so that he learns."

The pink feline floated back across the clearing, still showing her elegant, and controlled self. "Young gentleman, your fur is a mess. Please do clean it. It's important to look presentable in public." She flicked her tail, and then studied him for a long moment, before going back to her humming, for she had lectured enough for the moment.

Kerii stared at his mother for a moment, before beginning to lap at his fur. The dust got caught up on his tongue, but he didn't allow that to be an excuse to stop grooming. 'Yes yes, gotta make myself look nice for them. I need their trust.' For a long time all that could be heard was the soft rasp of Kerii's tongue against his pale fur, and then he heard his mother's song. Immediately he stopped licking and looked up. He studied his mother for a long time, and flicked his ears. 'That song... I know it.'

Cloud groaned silently when the elder female began to provide even more
expectations. All she did in response however was to flop down on her back
against a cool grass. Her lovely tail rose to sway throughout the air with a
graceful countenance. And her only solace with the situation was that Kerii was
being lectured because of their switch as well. She was still a little upset
with him for earlier. It showed throughout her expression and posture, but she
was coming around.

"Why do we have to fret so much over our fur…? It will only get dirty again…"
she said with one gentle roll of her eyes before she sat up to look at the elder
female. "And why does it matter if I am upset around a boy…?" she asked with a
more inquisitive tone. She decided to omit the fact that she had been upset
BECAUSE of what Kerii had done. It simply did not make sense. If it was to win
attention than should she not want to behave normal so he will like her for her
real self?

Since the switch it had been her new instincts more than anything that guided
her behavior. All of these things seemed so new and unfamiliar when she tried to
rationalize them. It occurred to her by now this change could be permanent. And
with that she may have to learn to accept the things she could not change. To
one day accept a male for her mate. It was a thought that made her blush for a
moment. But she also disliked changing her behavior without practical reasons.

the dust caught in the male's blue fur. 'A shiny with no proper manners. Guess

Kerii stared at his mother for a moment, before beginning to lap at his fur. The
dust got caught up on his tongue, but he didn't allow that to be an excuse to
stop grooming. 'Yes yes, gotta make myself look nice for them. I need their
trust.' For a long time all that could be heard was the soft rasp of Kerii's
tongue against his pale fur, and then he heard his mother's song. Immediately he
stopped licking and looked up. He studied his mother for a long time, and
flicked his ears. 'That song... I know it.'

The female had her back to Cloud, so she did not see her lying on the ground with ill-posture. She then meowed in response to her question, "We must look our best always in public. It is not fitting of rare Pokemon such as ourselves to be walking around with dust caught in our fur like some low-life Rattata." She flicked her tail to get her point across, however the tone in her voice said she wasn't mad. As Cloud asked her second question, the elder feline said, "Showing gloomy feelings around a boy will only get their attention, then they'll do anything to make you smile. It just equals to a big mess." She kept her back turned, but began to waggle one her front toes in a way that could be seen clearly.

There was a slight cough from the male feline. He had been silent the entire time, but listening carefully and assessing the situation without making any accusations against Kerii or Cloud. Now, he felt it was time to speak from his point of view, and someone was in for an earful. "Well," he began, his voice deep and thrumming with power, "From what I have seen, both of you lack manners that your parents should have taught you. Kerii," he looked at Cloud, "You seem to have forgotten everything your mother and I have taught you. You, young man," he looked at Kerii, "Seem to be able to listen well, but lack any type of formal masculine manners. You need to treat a lady with respect, and do not rough house with her. And above all you aren't to sit like a girl. I wish I could meet your parents and tell them all this." A frown was on the male's face, but his darker blue eyes sparkled with wisdom.

Kerii frowned, and lowered his tail a bit, along with his ears. The scolding was getting to him and ruining his already bad mood. The girlish instinct to begin to cry caused a lump to form in his throat. He shut his eyes tightly, and bit his tongue. 'No... If I cry now it'll cause suspicion.' The young male looked up, but continued to bite his tongue. He wanted to cry out the truth right then, but he refrained from doing so as it would not make sense at all. 'I've lied already... They'll just think of it as another lie as a way to gain their trust.' In the most humble voice he could manage, the pale blue Mew meowed, "I did not mean to disrespect your daughter. Everything you see here is a big misunderstanding." He then looked at Cloud. "Right Clo-Kerii?" Kerii quickly corrected himself after being so used to calling the feline Cloud. 'This will take some getting used to,' he thought.

Cloud groaned silently when the elder female began to provide even more expectations. All she did in response however was to flop down on her back against a cool grass. Her lovely tail rose to sway throughout the air with a graceful countenance. And her only solace with the situation was that Kerii was being lectured because of their switch as well. She was still a little upset with him for earlier. It showed throughout her expression and posture, but she was coming around.

"Why do we have to fret so much over our fur…? It will only get dirty again…" she said with one gentle roll of her eyes before she sat up to look at the elder female. "And why does it matter if I am upset around a boy…?" she asked with a more inquisitive tone. She decided to omit the fact that she had been upset BECAUSE of what Kerii had done. Listening to the lecture too was beginning to bother Cloud more than a little.
She did not adore being told how to behave or how to speak by an absolute
stranger. At least this was a stranger from her perspective. So when Kerii
humbled his voice, then called her by Kerii it was enough to warrant a cold
glare from the lovely pink feline. She did not like being drawn into this game
one little bit and she intended to give Kerii a mouthful later.

"Mother, I am fine…" she said floating up into the air gently. Her long lovely
tail softly entwined about herself as she had observed Kerii doing prior to
their switch. "Cloud was only wishing to brighten, my mood," she said with a
pause to glare at Kerii faintly as if to say `this is not over' and then
returned her eyes toward the female feline. "So…" she paused as if weighing
consequences of her words. "Please, Stop being so mean to him…" she said with
grace.

A relaxed tone of voice allowed her to draw on her naturally softer voice. The
graceful fluidity of her poise, mostly made up as she went from observations of
Kerii earlier, were at least a new moderate attempt toward the high standard of
femininity the other female had desired. Both of her ears were laid back
instinctively however. A posture induced more by the scent presence of her
biological mother to display submissiveness even if it was not how Cloud felt.

All day her former rational mind had been conflicted with her new feminine
instincts. Her sense of emotional stability had all since vanished from her
shifts from depression, to an irritated type of anger, to her confused passivity
toward the new situation. And perhaps stranger – the young female appeared to
have no awareness of her shifting moods. It was a balance between an attraction
to Kerii, instinctual passivity, and mental desire to assert her opinions.

Before the mother could speak, Kerii stepped forward. He had seen Cloud's glare, and decided he better start assisting her in the situation. 'I'll probably feel better if I talk some more.... Stop thinking so much!' He did his best to remember how to walk like his father did. The blue feline stopped in front of the elder pink female, and bowed his head with respect. "Pardon me milady, it is rude to interrupt you when you are about to speak, but it is the truth. My only wish was to cheer your daughter up. We have become friends, and when she is sad, I do my best to make her smile again." He lifted his head with a warm smile on his face. His pink eyes sparkled in a friendly manner as he tried to gain the trust of a royal like mother.

The mother feline blinked her eyes at the young male. 'He is showing wonderful manners. Perhaps I was wrong about him,' she thought. She flicked her elegant ears at her daughter's voice, then looked at them both. "Well, from the demonstration here, I think its safe to say that perhaps I was wrong. Perhaps you are a good young man, and you were doing just as you said you were, cheering up a sad girl."A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "Be that the case, we can let this whole situation drop, and sit around and chat for a good long time before we settle down for mid day meal."

Cloud watched the elder female feline retain her elegant poise regardless of the
situation. It felt a bit unnerving to know that for the moment she shared the
same bloodline. To know she was expected to maintain that same grace. In fact,
at the beginning she did not see a point. Why did it matter whether her fur was
groomed, or her posture was elegant, or her speech refined? All of it felt
rather pointless indeed. At least until she recalled Kerii's explanation after
their switch.

`A lady is like a flower' she recalled the other feline using as her comparison.
It had not made a lot of sense then but as she watched Kerii's mother it began
to speak volumes. Flowers were a beautiful sight that received attention from
their admirers. And her feminine instinct now asked her to desire that type of
attention from Kerii who was for the moment – a boy. So maybe all of those
lessons on feminine etiquette and poise could be useful for winning affection
from Kerii?

It was a thought that caused the young female to blush profusely. When she had
been a male it had been so much more complex. Her delights came from a
combination of physical prowls, the social status she attained, and her ability
to simply relax into playtime. Yet as a female it felt as if these instincts
guided her actions. The one objective on her mind was to attain the affection of
someone whom she found attractive. And strangely enough, the young female did
not mind.

"As long as you are not mean to Kerii-chan…" she added as she hovered with a far
more relaxed disposition. All anger within her aura appeared to have vanished
into intrigue. "Either of you…" she said eyeing her biological father as well
this time. As for the reason of her sudden change of mood: Maybe she appreciated
his rising to her defense? Maybe she was blinded by attraction to the handsome
boy? Or maybe, maybe she realised Kerii was all she required to stay content?

The older pale pink male Mew chuckled at his daughter's stare before mewing, "Ah I understand. No more being hard on the young gentleman." His speech was a little less refined than the female, but the mother seemed hardly to notice, so long as he kept up the good posture, and used moderately sophisticated speech. He flicked his tail, before going back to his reserved self and leaving the other three to speak quietly. He thought more than he talked, and he acted more than he listened. It could be harmful at times, but it could be a life-saver at times.

Cloud's biological mother beamed at the title that Cloud used for Kerii. "Formal titles. I don't ever remember teaching you that, but you must have picked it up from somewhere along the way. And of course I would never be mean to you sweetheart." The aura around the female began to bubble up, and she wrapped her tail around her hind leg as she clasped her paws together. "Now remember, your a young lady now, You shouldn't be talking in third-person!" A giggle came from the mother, and she covered her mouth daintily with a paw. "And of course I'll be nicer to your young friend too."

Kerii let out a small purr. It was nothing loud, but something to lighten the aura even more. A warm spring breeze tugged at his fur, and he closed his eyes to enjoy it. The leaves cried softly as the wind brushed them, and he enjoyed hearing it. Having his parents back was amazing, and with it brought familiar sensations and memories of his birth. His only regret was that he couldn't be the one to enjoy the soft petting and warm tongue against his fur. 'Ah well. They are here, and that's all that matters,' he thought.
