Listening to his mother with minor interest, the blackened Ninetails focused his
eyes around the pack with his typical marginalized opinion of females to perform
even the simplest tasks. "It would appear that she is already growing attached
to her new sister…" he said with a low snarl as his eyes pierced into the cave
for a moment then drifted away to a few of the other males with a threatening
growl that caused each and everyone who heard and saw his expression to back
away into their burrows. All of them remembered clearly when the small dark
Ninetails pack had brutally entered the large canine group; brutally murdering
every single one of the pack leaders in cold blood. A few of the females from
that day three years ago still the forced mates of the hybrid foxes that had
ruled with ruthlessness and wisdom entirely unchallenged for the relatively long
duration. Their dark-typing a blended mixture of Houndoom and Umbreon, while the
youngest borne of their pack Arianna had featured more to her albino Eevee
bloodline with her mother.

Arianna frowned slightly and shyly shook her head when Katara mentioned being
respected. "No… All of the other kids usually do not let me play, because mommy
says I am still too little…" she explained with a pause, confused by the odd
secondly reaction from the other Vulpix. "Huh? Oh… I do not know, I was born
this way I guess… Is there something wrong with being different? Mommy says that
she thinks that I look pretty, my big brother says that too but he still teases
me sometimes…" she said with another pause, her lightened mood replacing the
mild depression from the earlier comments. "But…" she began with a pause, "If
you are my big brother's female-friend then does that mean you're my new big
sister… What happened to Sera Onee-sama…?" she asked inquisitively. Perceptive
for her age even if she still did not entirely understand the way the world
worked. All she knew was she was she, and Katara looked sad. It did not even
occur to her that something bad might have happened to Sera since she had been
gone.

come of age, and then her beauty would surpass Sera with the intelligence to
remain alive. "Sera was foolish to attempt to flee, let alone with this storm on
the horizon… I do not anticipate she will have gotten far at all, but I wished
to escort this one back personally, you know how these other wretched whelps
respond to newcomer females… How they responded to Sera…" he said with a low
chuckle and moved to nuzzle her gently before turning his attention to the
remainder of the pack. All was well while he had been away despite the large
storm that had caused turmoil throughout the jungle for local inhabitants.

Stella dipped her head. Her main falling down into her eyes. "A wise decision my
son. If Sera doesn't see the benefits for her in the pack, then it's her own
loss." Her red eyes suddenly whipped around. Her cream and red tipped tails
lashed. "Oh, now where did Arianna go?"

in the corner to clean herself undeterred by the loud rains. Running up nearby,
the young child sat on her hind legs a few feet away to avoid coming across as
impolite or overly assertive. Waiting patiently until she was acknowledged
visually by the elder Vulpix she gave a friendly smile and wagged her tail
curiously. "Hello! My name is Arianna, if you came with my big brother does that
mean you will be staying here with us…?" she asked curiously, uncertain what had
happened to her brother's old mate but if Katara was in this burrow then that
had to mean something had changed right? Besides, it looked like the other
Vulpix needed somebody to talk to and most of the other children practically
ignored her since she was too young to play most games.

Katara opened one eye to look at the young Vulpix. She paused mid-lick and
placed her paw back on the ground. She dipped her head in greeting. "Good
tidings little Arianna. Your older brother is the black Ninetails and the
leader? Well you must feel very special and have everyone treat you repectively.
I wouldn't want to meet your brother in a fight." Katara was looking at the
Vulpix oddly. Something was different. Then she saw the bigger picture and
jumped to her paws in surprise. "Arianna! Yo-Your pure white! Uh..Uh...Are you a
ghost?! No, of course not, your not transparent. But why are you white though?"

Stella dipped her head once again. "I may not have gotten a good look at Katara,
but I've been sensing it ever since she got here. She's not her normal self.
Normally, a vulpix child such as herself should be happy and cheerful, all I can
sense from her is sadness and dispair. It's been there far longer since you
captured her. I am not sure how long, but I think she is suffering and will need
time to heal. Be weary about what you say to her, for she may take it the wrong
way and break down crying in front of you." Stella turned and padded away,
before looking back at her son, "Oh, and tell Arianna to come back as soon as
she is done speaking to Katara."

you, but for as long as I stay and as long as I am aloud to, I will come to the
nursery and play with you." She smiled. When Arianna mentioned being different,
instantly Shanti and Siran appeared in Katara's head. Her heart pulsed and she
stumbled. She regained herself and hid her face from Arianna. "No, different is
not bad. Different means you are special and nobody should tell you any
different. Besides, white is a pretty color, and it suites your eyes." Katara
took a shaky breath before looking back up at Arianna. Listening to the child
speak of Sera, Katara finally asked the question she kept inside all the while
they were traveling. "Who is this Sera everyone keeps talking about. Your big
brother talked about her, but i have no idea who she is. Is she your older
sister? The sister to your big brother?"

Spirit blinked his pink eyes as he thought for a moment then concluded she posed
no threat nor meant any harm to his nearby family. "Hmm, no. I don't think its a
problem," ~I'm glad to meet you Miyu~ he spoke, then sent cheerfully since
switching back and forth between telepathy and audible speach was a habit of

~If you don't mind me asking, were you born on this island? Or did you travel

a chance to get to know the locals yet since arriving" he said as traces of
inquisitive innocence laced around his aura while his long tail flicked lazily
about, barely skimming the surface of the pool as the waterfall splashed like a

be younger then his age of three though he did not mind too much how he was

"I like traveling currents of water, one of them must have ended up on this
island." Miyu replied, unsure of where this was from.

"I'm not from around here, so, You could say I traveled." She shook off a bit
more before looking around more.

"Where are you, if you don't mind me asking."

Shyreen turned her brown eyes slowly from her sister to Glaurung, then again to
her sister as if she were weighing the consequences of forcing her mate to leave
for Tsunami's safety while most likely losing her sister as well. She presumed
Celestia would chose Glaurung if the issue was forced, but did not blame her
since she felt she would have done the same if she were in her sister's
situation. She sighed softly as she accepted Tsunami back into her arms as she
pondered Celestia's questions in her heart. She established a private link to
the white and blue Mew.

~I only wish I knew what Mother would have us do…she was wiser then I could hope
to be. And I have thought about Tsunami's fate, if we fail to change her dark
perspectives and they remain unaltered.~ she sent and glanced at Glaurung again
who returned her stare without blinking, ~You are right dearest sister, Glaurung
is impatient in anything he wants and would not have waited for so long if he
meant to harm me…so he can stay. I can guess easily enough that much has
happened while I was unconscious that you are not telling me, but I love you and
trust your judgment. If you feel there some things that have transpired that I
should not know, then I trust your decision. I had considered Rex a family
friend, and my own, making his betrayal all the more painful and confusing…but
if you still want to help save his relationship with his own loved one, then I
want it as well.~

Glaurung did not hear Shyreen's thoughts, but he did feel her resentment and ill
will towards him lessen as she spoke at length with her sister as he also felt
Celestia's distress and guessing Shyreen had changed her mind about him he
slowly moved up behind Celestia and held her shoulders gently so she would know
his close presence and perhaps have some comfort.

Listening to his gentle words and the weight of his head cuddled against hers,
Celestia blushed a deep red which she tried to hide partially from view. Softly
smiling as she stared down at the small kitten sleeping in her paws, nearly
forgetting its true identity while she studied its innocent features
thoughtfully and drooped back her ears submissively to respond to her mate. ~No…
Not yet I do not believe, but if it pleases you milord then one day, soon…?~ she
sent quietly to avoid disturbing the sleeping child as she perked her ears up
slightly with relief when she heard her sister's voice telepathically. ~Glaurung
is not the one who would wish harm upon you or master Falcon, sister… If he
wished you harm then there is little that I could have done to stop him, and yet
here he remains passively?~ she sent quietly to her elder sister with an
expression of humility against her blush, tenderly cradling the child in her
paws.

~Beyond that… He and I are intertwined, perhaps a lasting legacy of lord
Falcon…? But, I fear she may now hold information crucial to preserving the bond
between Rex and his love, what are we to do…?~ she sent quietly after a brief
pause, a single tear sliding down her cheek. ~It is painful to see the master
like this, and yet, I fear that the worst may still yet be in store for her if
she is to come of age with her dreadful perspectives unchallenged…~ she sent
quietly, lightly levitating Tsunami into the arms of her new mother where she
felt the child belonged. Aware that Falcon had been the mate of her elder
sister, but to her Falcon had been like a second father in the absence of her
real father or mother. Falcon had guided her in life and she did sincerely
respect the dark mew despite the atrocities committed against her family in the
past. It pained her to think that everything, all of the suffering that had been
inflicted, might have been in vain; she hated the idea of her kind being
`purified' only to have those plans all fall apart.

~If she cannot return to normal then what is to become of her? What would mother
have us do…? You know as well as I that master Falcon will never be content in
such a state, nor will she respect us enough to be educated in a proper and
refined path through her new life… She only respects male power, and I fear
Glaurung will only suffice so far…~ she sent quietly in conclusion. In her heart
however she was secretly torn between the degrading shame and shining pride to
have one such as her master now a member of their distinctive otherness. She
also felt uncertain if she should inform Shyreen of all that had transpired and
been said during her induced slumber, that the child may have remained a step
ahead of everybody this entire time, and yet she also felt that if it was
important her sister would know without having to be informed. Her entire life
under the dark mew, since she had been brought here as a child, was a constant
lesson in the inferiority of her kind compared to that of males. And so she
could not even begin to comprehend what could have provoked such a choice if
this had been an orcastrated endeavour.

--- In Realm_light@yahoogroups.com, "Steve" <ancalagon700@> wrote:

Only the faintest smile showed on Glaurung's face after Tsunami was spanked. The
child chiding's against him did not effect him, by arousing an emotional

the discipline and judgment. For now. ~It will be beneficial, if I can fit the
role~ he sent and then raised an eyebrow and his smile broadened as he
continued, ~and I note that you say, "our own children", are you then expecting
my love?~ he sent as he closed the distance between them and came behind her and
gently held her paw in his and rested his chin on her head.

At that moment Shyreen began to stir, and as she awoke her bodied only held
trace echoes of the pain she endured since she had been healed by her sister.
Opening her brown eyes, she saw who she first sensed and eyed the dark blue Mew
with a piercing stare. She looked at Tsunami sleeping in Celestia's arms and
lifted herself from the floor and hovered to towards them, and as she did
Glaurung pulled away from Celestia. She eyed him for some long moments then
looked at Celestia ~Why should I let him stay here?~ she sent, and not
privately, knowing her younger sister was hoping for it in her heart.

~*~*~*~*~

A pair of men walked abreast down a long hallway speaking to each other about
the corridor they were in and its rich decorations of various renaissance age
paintings and busts of artists and politicians long dead and remembered only in
their cold marble likeness. "We don't need another entertainer on our lists
Louis. Besides, even if he is as good as you say he is, he's still a boy and
will lose his talents in four or five more years so he can hardly be worth the
investment" said the first dark haired man.

"I assure you Monsieur Samuel, the son of Monsieur Verdreaux is the soloist of
the Vienna choir. If you had the pleasure to be his audience for a minute, it
would be worth the price. And many of our lads become quite the talented
vocalists when they come of age, not all are, are…oh how did you put it, flashes
in the pan?" said Louis reassuringly.

"I don't know, still it's a little…" said Sam then stopped speaking as he heard
the crystal clear sound of a young male's angelic voice soar higher and still
higher from behind the closed double doors at the end of the hallway. He blinked
in amazement then looked at Louis. "I thought you said he was going to be here
for auditions tomorrow?"

Louis opened his mouth to speak but paused and gaped at the beauty of the sound
as the singer held his final soaring note for what seemed to be longer then
humanly possible. "…that is not the son of Monsieur Vedreaux, not even he could
sing like….like this" he said.

Sam broke out of his trance and his expression turned from amazed confusion to a
frown and he stepped forward, seizing the golden door handle only to find it
locked. "If its not the boy, then who is it?" he asked a still stunned Louis.
"Security" said Sam as he touched his earpiece. Moments later a young women
followed by a pair of men came speedily after them down the hall way and she
pulled out an electronic card, swiped it over a sensor to which the door
unlocked itself with a click, and at that the singing abruptly stopped. They
looked at each other and the women quickly opened the door and entered the large
room as the others followed.

Their shoes clicked against the marble floor and its sounds echoed off the large
wooden dome above them that was richly carved and embroidered with exotic
patterns. They all looked about in surprise to find the room completely empty
and fanned out as they checked behind the grand piano and various instrument
cases only to find nothing. Looking over at a partially opened door Sam spotted
in the back corner of the room, Sam quickly walked over and opened it expecting
to find a boy, only to find and empty instrument closet. "Check the hallways, he
might have slipped out when we came in" said the young women as the guards
quickly left followed by Louis and Sam and their footsteps echoed back down the
hallway as they went. She remained behind and waited for a few moments as she
scanned the empty room again until her eyes came to rest on a marble statue much
larger then she was of spread winged angel dressed in armor with a piercing gaze
who held a sword in his raised right hand and golden weighing scales in his
left. Her blue eyes narrowed and she smiled as she walked towards the statue to
see what could be behind it when her ear piece suddenly sounded. "Julia, we
found the boy. He's in the kitchen eating sweets" she paused and looked at the
statue a final time before turning and walking out of the room, shutting and
locking the door behind her. The statue gazed silently on at the door where she
exited and after a few moments a small grey four foot tall Aerodacty peaked
around from behind the marble angel as he blinked his fearful red eyes.

~*~*~*~*~

Rex slowly awoke from his memory and looked about his cave, formally Falcon's,
where he had been sleeping. He turned his red eyes and looked out at the sky for
a moment before resting his head back on the floor as he passed quickly back
into sleep.

Her words stung, but he did not feel it was anything he did not deserve. Rex

10 days and could feel his bones ache and his muscles cramp, and even blinking
was difficult. Standing still for a moment, he tried to consider his next move
and what it could be, but as he was thinking his head throbbed and the room spun
and then his vision blurred. Rex began to fall and he was too weak to even catch
himself and his head smacked the floor as he passed into unconsciousness and a
dark dreamless sleep.

Eyeing his mother with a threatening leer, the blackened Ninetails merely
watched Katara with a mixture of lustful affection and distain. "You act as
though I care, mother?" he growled with a casual shrug and draped half his long
tails around himself majestically. "I wonder how cute she will be in tears, not
that I would expect much of her beyond her maternal abilities either, and as for
Arianna I am not her baby-sitter so if you wish her to go to bed then you shall
ask her to return yourself…" he said aggressively before he turned to whip his
tails off to the side. A savage look in his eyes as he turned from his mother
and walked away without awaiting her response, she was not worth his effort. As
he walked into the central burrow and lay down along the wind-shielded back wall
entirely ignorant of the female's presence or even their conversation. Chit-chat
was wasted on those without better things to do with their time, and he intended
to awaken at the crack of dawn to pursue a Stantler herd he has noticed during
the tracking expedition.

Meanwhile, Arianna giggled quietly when Katara said that white was a pretty
color. Her laughter however silenced to a low murmur when her elder brother
strode into the cavern and lay down on the other side without a word spoken to
either herself or the new female. "Sera is my big brother's female-friend, or
least she was… She is really nice though but my mommy said someone saw her run
away before dawn…" she whispered in her most quiet voice to avoid disturbing her
brother. "I do not think that onii-sama liked that though since mommy said he
had been tracking her… But, he came back with you Miss Katara-sama…" she
explained with an uncertain tone. Far too young to understand the dynamics of
pack leadership or mate selection, and certainly too innocent to realise rumours
spread quickly among the other canines. "So does that mean you are onii-sama's
new `female-friend'? You would not leave like onee-sama would you?" she asked
hesitantly. Disheartened by the departure of her `old' big-sister since Sera was
one of the only ones in the pack who had ever sincerely wanted to play with her,
not forced by her big brother.

speak of Sera, Katara finally asked the question she kept inside all the while

The wound was almost fully repaired.
"Synthesis, my little friend. It heals wounds quickly. But it will not heal as quickly at night."

"Well," 108 said. "Let's get some rest for tonight. If you gather some wood, i can make a fire with Will-O-Wisp. "

Katara looked away from the white child and into the shadows of the den, away
from the alpha. Her eyes narrowed to slits. [This guy will not boss me around.]
Katara's eyes went back to normal and she looked at Arianna. Not bothering to
answer back to Arianna, she said, "Arianna, I believe it would be best if you
returned to your mother's side now. If your brother says I can, " Katara casted

she asked, "Is there a certain place you would like me to sleep, Master?"

~Rex is nothing more than a pestilent pervert who indulges in carnal pleasures,
but I certainly do not wish for him to linger around so I would assist locating
his mate if only for that…~ she replied quietly, deciding to avoid explaining
what Rex had tried to do while her sister had been unconscious. ~And you were
only asleep a short while, unfortunately long enough for dear Falcon to degrade
himself further with childish antics and attitudes… If only master would act
half as innocent, and cute, as she now appears maybe we could have a peaceful
existence for once…~ she added in quietly. Her tail lightly brushed over Tsunami
who resembled a sleeping angel cradled in the arms of her mother, a stark
contrast from fowl darkness that polluted her aura. The sight making her long
for the day she could have a kitten of her own. One to raise properly, and
certainly distinct from the horrid behaviour that Tsunami had displayed today
contrary to how she had always been raised to perceive as the proper way that a
young lady should behave.

Shyreen eyed Glaurung again, suspiciously. She could sense no physical injury on
Tsunami but with the way her sister was talking she could tell something else
had transpired while she was asleep, and she wondered if Celestia was keeping it
from her to protect Glaurung from her wrath whom she did not doubt was involved
in treachery. "Well…right now I must agree that I love Rex no more then you do,
but before even Mother was born he did save our Grandma's life and ours as a
result. So we are indebted to him and I will not be proven faithless to even a
traitor or monster" she said and held her sleeping daughter closer. ~There is
one question you must answer for me Celestia…Is Tsunami safe around Glaurung and
did he try to do anything to harm Tsunami? Can I trust him to be in my
daughter's presence? Please, before you answer, think of her safety and not only
your love for Glaurung~ she sent privately. She trusted her sister and loved her
dearly, but doubt nagged at Shyreen's heart and she could not help but wonder if
Celestia was trying to protect Glaurung from leaving by not saying what happened
and thereby putting Tsunami in danger by not telling her what harm Glaurung did,
or tried to do to Tsunami.

"Apparently you have not been told what Glaurung tried to do when you were
asleep Shyreen" said a deep voice behind her. The white Mew turned around to see
the 18 foot tall Aerodactyl standing with his arms folded, and she blinked in
surprise since she had been so focused on the other Mews that she did not sense
his approach. "I will tell you what he did then" he said as he glanced at
Celestia and Glaurung for a moment with a hardened expression and he could see
Glaurung looking at him, begging with his eyes to keep his attempted rape of
Tsunami a secret.

Rex smiled and turned his red eyes back to Shyreen as he spoke. "After I
rendered you unconscious I took out Galadrith. I intended to harm Falcon, I
wanted to make her talk, and tell me where my mate is. But Glaurung had followed
me here without my knowing and before I could harm Falcon, Glaurung attacked me
in the back with his Silver Wind and tried his best to stop me, and I have the
mark to prove it. Glaurung and I are linked, so if I wish I can control him, so
despite his best efforts to protect his sister Tsunami, I made him sit still
while I intended to make Falcon sing. But then brave Celestia managed to get by
me and teleport both you and Falcon to safety" he said confidently.

Rex gave a small smile and held his chin as he thought for a moment "You heard
Celestia call me perverted and your probably wondering why she said that
Shyreen. Apparently Glaurung must have told Celestia that when I was a female
Eevee that I was mated by a male Umbreon…and I liked it. So you see, if Glaurung
wanted to harm Tsunami, I would not have stopped him, and Celestia certainly
could not have stopped him. Glaurung tried to protect Tsunami the whole time, he
even tried to talk me out of it. So if you have anyone to blame, its me" said
Rex and as he finished he barely caught a glimpse of the dark blue Mew turning
his head away from him to hide his tears.

Arianna kanted her head to the side curiously for a moment before she flapped
her ears down. "Okay, miss Katara-sama…" she said quietly. Uncertain if she had
said something inappropriate. "Good night…" she said sheepishly, not wishing to
irritate the red Vulpix more if she had said something bad. Quietly slipping out
of the central burrow, the young albino white Vulpix wandered next to her mother
and cuddled her affectionately before curling up in her tails. She was kind of
sleepy anyways. "Do you think Onee-sama will come back tomorrow mommy?" she
asked curiously, already missing having Sera around after only one day. Yawning
sleepily while she strained to remain awake, if only to prove she was a big
girl.

Inside the burrow, the blackened Ninetails opened one eye to study Katara in
silence. His outstretched paws propped up his head as he looked away with
boredom. "Sleep where you wish, near or at the other end of the burrow, I care
not, but you will remain inside…" he said with a low growl, not bothering to
open his eyes to look in her direction. To him she was merely an unevolved baby
who served him little purpose until she came of age to have his pups. For now he
intended to simply humour her for the visual pleasure, aware that as time passed
she would only grow more and more lovely. Since for him females existed only for
visual pleasure and to care for pups, anything beyond that was too complex for
such `simple' minds.

Celestia narrowed her eyes when Rex resurfaced from whatever hole he had crawled
into earlier. She was too angry with the grey-worm to even force a laugh at his
admission of perversion. "I stand corrected, a deceitful pestilent pervert… If
you wish to confess, you should consider telling the entire story, like how you
wished to murder my sister in cold blood to make a child speak, or your threats
to have Tsunami killed or even defiled if she refused… You are pathetic…!" she
hissed and flicked her tail sharply to the side. Her eyes softened slightly when
Glaurung came up behind her for comfort. ~And no Shyreen, I do not believe
Glaurung would harm master Falcon, but as long as the pestilent worm is nearby I
do have my suspicions for her safety from Rex so we can leave if you wish… You
and Spirit mean more to me than anyone else, you know that, so the last thing I
want is to see you hurt…~ she sent quietly with a sincere tone. Her eyes
drifting to the stirring kitten held by her sister with a faint smile, finding
it ironic that even as a virtual child her master continued to cause mistrust,
violence, and family disharmony.

Disturbed by the rising voices and booming voice from the dragon, the small
snowy white dark-type kitten stirred in the arms of her `mother' sleepily.
Sitting up still half asleep, the child stared around the area as her awareness
gradually increased. Awake long enough to overhear the final passages of
Celestia's long speech that filled her into the likely situation. Drifting her
eyes up to her holder, she grimaced slightly when she observed and sensed
Shyreen. She decided not to struggle or teleport free since she had rapidly
learned the futility of that over the past twenty-four hours. Fortunately for
Rex she had been fast asleep through his deceitful protectionist speech. "What
is –he– still doing here…?!" she hissed in anger, her large blue eyes drifting
`innocently' from Shyreen to the large dragon. Silently cursing her meek voice
though she felt maybe she could play on that `innocent daughter' appearance to
get the things that she desired for now. And that thing revolved around the
revenge that she knew she could not very well take in this form, yet
manipulating the two females offered a solution for her desire to humiliate the
males.

Stella smiled as Arianna curled up by her side. She licked Arianna's white
curls. When Arianna asked about Sera, Stella's head came up and she closed her
eyes. "There are a lot of dangers in these parts. And with that storm, Sera
might not make it, but don't worry. She's a strong one. She'll be fine." Stella
smiled and nuzzled Arianna. "Now get some rest. Katara will be over to play
tomorrow."

Katara dipped her head to the alpha before padding over to one of the shadowy
corners at the end of the den, away from the entrance. She curled up into a ball
and hid her nose under her tail. Within moments she was asleep. Her dreams were
shadowed. Suddenly three figures appeared before. Their eyes squinted. The one
that was flying, a Butterfree, Katara cried out in her dream. "MARCUS!" She took
a step forward and Marcus just turned. "She found a new best friend." He then
fluttered away. Katara fell to her knees. "Marcus..." She looked at the other
figures. An Absol without a trigus. "Shanti!" Shanti turned away with her nose
in the air. Katara could have sworn she heard Shanti say, "You found a new
motherly pokemon." It hurt Katara. Tears welded in her eyes. Finally, Katara's
gaze looked at the last of the three. The mist seemed to clear and Siran stood
before her, in his Ninetails form. "Siran..." But the Ninetails just simply
turned and left. His voice whispered on the breeze. [You should have thought
about this before you chose to save the Mightyana's life.] Katara was hurt. The
last trace of the three was gone. Katara turned her head and saw darkness
coming, and with it came the dark pack. The ones who stole her from freedom. And
then the dream changed to blank, nothing.

~He cannot hurt Me Celestia, not while I am awake~ sent Shyreen to her sister.

"Oh but my dear Celestia, I was just getting to that" said Rex with a dark
chuckle and twisted grin, "I may be too large to defile Tsunami, but Celestia
was never the less right about that too Shyreen. After all I can be creative,
and if your wondering why you have some freshly healed wounds, it is courtesy of
yours truly" he said as he looked at the 3 inch claws on his paw then at
Shyreen. "Such…delicate creatures, you Mew. It almost felt like popping a melon,
but only weaker"

Shyreen sensed something was not right, deceit was all around the grey wyvern
like fog in a low valley, she knew he was trying to make her hate him, and
effective though he was, she did not want to give in. He seemed the polar
opposite the Rex Joy told her about, innocent and soft spoken, but that was
years ago and maybe the years had changed him. Shyreen held her daughter close
and shuddered to think of how close she came again to losing another child, and
though she knew she was most powerful Mew her Mountain Tribe had produced in
decades, she still felt like a very small, thin, delicate veil between the
world's dangers and her family and wished more then ever that her mate where
whole again and capable of defending her against the terror and deciding what
was best for their family. "Leave us or I will kill you" whispered Shyreen as
tears brimmed in the cold stare of her brown eyes.

The black slits in Rex's red eyes narrowed as he smirked when he heard Tsunami's
question when she awoke "Make me. I could snap tree in two, or a
kitten…with…one…bite" he said slowly and suddenly snapped his over meter long
jaws so they clapped like a steel trap.

And that thing revolved around the
revenge that she knew she could not very well take in this form, yet
manipulating the two females offered a solution for her desire to humiliate the
males.

Tsunami cringed slightly when Rex leaned in closer to openly mock her in front
of everyone. Her instincts instructed her to cling to her mother for protection.
But she resisted to avoid giving him or anyone else the pleasure of watching
that and instead she merely muttered something under her breath and sat back
with both paws folded against Shyreen. "Not worth my time to…" she replied
childishly although froze mid-speech when a deep crimson streaked purple aura
consumed the grey dragon. Forcing his limbs to fall to his knees, his head
lowered in the dust submissively so his eyes could not even look `up' at the Mew
family sitting within the cave. And then without warning the air above Rex
shimmered. A small figure appeared out of nowhere, his darkened shiny ocean blue
and rainforest green stripped fur blurred by his motion as he glowing tail
whipped straight down into Rex's skull like an iron anvil crashing into rock.

Teleporting a couple of feet away, the oddly colored tropical Mew floated above
the dragon. He used his psychic hold to force Rex face-first into the bedrock to
leave a faint dragon-sized imprint in the grassy lake-side meadow. "And what do
we have here? A savage beast unfamiliar with the protocols to properly address
the fairer sex?" he asked with a low yet vibrant masculine voice that sung of
radiant beauty and a little bit on the feminine side to provide a youthful
counterbalance to his charming beautiful striation. "You should be grateful that
I did not end your miserable existence on the spot, now bow and apologise to
these three lovely ladies for your behaviour…!" he said with a pause. "And, then
if by the grace of the fairer sex I -might- permit you to flee with your tail
between your legs like the beast that you are…" he said with a low tone of voice
that rang of sincerity. Since all of his life he had been raised to treat ladies
well.

Tsunami merely watched the event transpire with a fluid confusion that baffled
the child until her alertness focused on two fundamental words: three ladies.
Her snowy white cheeks turned an emblazoned red as she tried to hide herself
from view with lowered shoulders, before realising it was in vain and replied
with only a loud "Hmph!" and sat back against Shyreen utterly defeated. Aware
that the third female of whom he had spoken was without a doubt herself, and she
hated the idea of being lumped together with the likes of Shyreen or Celestia.
The idea of having a male Mew, of all things, trying to defend her honour an
experience which left her utterly humiliated and wishing that she had stayed
asleep. Yet her expression also mirrored her mild satisfaction with watching Rex
forced face-first into the dust like a common animal being reprimanded by the
master race. It provided mild satisfaction and revenge for his earlier taunts
and attempts to have her experience the greatest humiliation at the hands of her
former minion and brother.

was never the less right about that too Shyreen.

Arianna feigned a slight smile when she heard her mother confirm her deepest
fears. She had suspected that her big sister would not be returning. Since why
else would her brother have brought a new female to be his `female-friend' if he
had another one coming back later? Quietly nodding her head with a yawn, she
tried to hide the faint tears forming in her eyes as she buried her face against
her mother and began to drift off to sleep amidst a couple tears running down
her cheek. Her dreams haunted by her cherished memories concerning Sera who had
been her only real friend in the entire pack. It was true that she was treated
special because of her brother but that was also ultimately her curse and
everyone avoided her in an effort to avoid evoking the wrath of her brother if
she got upset because of someone else. Ever since her brother and the rest of
their pack had come down from the mountains to take over this pack, she had
never felt so alone. Her brother was always too busy to play, and now nobody
even liked her here.

Darkness gradually turned to light as the first strands of sunlight bathed over
the rocky clearing. Inside the central burrow, the blackened Ninetails was
already gone. He had left long before sunrise with a group of the other hunters
to track down the herd and catch them by surprise. Two of the year-old females
sat in the darkness of their own burrows eyed Katara with a piercing jealousy
wondering why on earth the alpha had chosen an unevolved baby for his new mate
instead of one of the eligible bachelorettes. "All that work to make Sera cry
her heart out and leave, and Sinatra returns with a little baby?!" one of them
said in a quiet tone, aware nobody would hear them from the isolated corner
burrow they shared. "Who cares, this one does not look like she will last long…
Little bitch probably does not even know how good that she has it!" the second
one said as she turned to her sister. They would proceed as originally planned.

Finally, Katara's gaze looked at the last of the
three. The mist seemed to clear and Siran stood before her, in his Ninetails
form. "Siran..." But the Ninetails just simply turned and left. His voice
whispered on the breeze. [You should have thought about this before you chose to
save the Mightyana's life.] Katara was hurt. The last trace of the three was
gone. Katara turned her head and saw darkness coming, and with it came the dark
pack. The ones who stole her from freedom. And then the dream changed to blank,
nothing.

Katara woke up in the den alone. Ever since her nightmare, her emotions block
had become stronger. There was no feeling going through Katara. Only nothing.
She rose to her paws, gave herself a quick wash and walked out of the den.
[Master can have a fit for all I care. It would be his own fault for taking me

pokemon whispering about her. She swiped a paw over a red ear before turning to
look at them. "If you have something to say, come out and say it. Talking behind
others' backs is not polite." Being raised in a family with manners really
helped Katara at times like this. Her voice, not angry and not stern. It just
seemed mildly bored and out of it. Not her normal high spirited and happy voice.
Just a meaningless voice that a meaningless pokemon possessed. All this swam
through Katara's head, but Katara's emotion block made her not reveal any
emotion or sadness at all.

Stella woke up and watched the first rays of sunlight dip into the den. She ran
a paw over her creamy ear before licking Arianna's white curls. Stella always
took special care of Arianna, afraid that if she set down one paw each morning,
she would hear the crack of a broken paw. It had become quite clear here that if
your disabled, your killed. Stella remembered the horror of watching her father
get brutally murdered because he was disabled. It happened not that long ago and
it still hurt. So from that day on, she vowed to keep Arianna safe from
disability and harm.

(OOC: Sorry about the rule about disability if you didn't like it, but I thought
it kinda fitted the pack. I mean after all, they are dark and scary. And
bullies.)

Looking at each other to exchange giggles, the two normally coloured Ninetails
females glanced back at the newcomer with bored expressions. "Is that baby
talking to us…?" one of the twins asked only to have the other resist a snicker,
"I believe so, but who cares what a little baby thinks… Come on, shall we go out
looking for breakfast…?" the second one replied with a faint leer directed
towards Katara. To these two, she was nothing but a new toy for the alpha that
they hoped he would tire of shortly. She was still only a little kid, making her
break down and cry would probably not be half as hard as it was with Sera before
they had driven her away. "And do have fun remaining here with the other babies,
Katara…" the first Ninetails said casually before she turned her back with her
sister to make their way from the clearing; her voice stressed the word `other'
to make Katara feel childish or maybe provoke her into a little scrap.

Arianna stirred from her sleep when she felt her mother giving her a morning
bath. Opening her eyes with a giggle, the young white Vulpix laughed cheerfully.
"Good morning mommy!" she said, perking up both her ears while she shook her
head lightly to remove any grogginess. Yet as she lifted one paw to lick the
back to groom her fur like her mommy had taught her, she softened her eyes
faintly as she looked about the encampment. "D-Did Sera come back… Mommy?" she
asked quietly with a quiver of sadness in her voice that she could not hide from
her mother. Her ears perked up to the sound of commotion from the next-door
burrow between Katara and the two Ninetails twins. She had never liked them very
much. They had always been specifically mean to her but her brother liked their
attitudes for some strange reason.

OOC: It makes sense to me. You do not have to be sorry lol…

Katara guess that these girls were the alpha's fan club. It explains why they
are rude and talk about her. She wasn't gonna give them the pleasure of seeing
her cry. So she just straitened up and said. "Say what you like, children, but
we will see who is the bigger pokemon when it comes to manners." Katara walked
away and towards Arianna's den.

Stella heard the commotion and sighed. [I wonder if Katara is alright.] Looking
at Arianna, Stella said, "Would you like to go see Katara?"

they hoped he would tire of shortly.

"Good morning mommy!" she said, perking up both her ears while she shook her

back to groom her fur like her mommy had taught her, she softened her eyes
faintly as she looked about the encampment.

Just a meaningless voice that a meaningless pokemon possessed. All this swam

ooc: Steve and Jenn collab, yay! +++ put in for back and forth scene changes

Surprise and anger surged in The 18 foot tall Aerodactyl's chest when he was
first forced to his knees, but his fire was quickly extinguished as his saw
bright lights from being struck in the head and then felt his hollow ribs crack
from the force of his body being forced into the bedrock. The Mews words echoed
in his head and though his actions were all a ruse, shame stung in him. For he
held females in high esteem and had been taught to be a gentlemen by Morgrin.
The dark blue male Mew accompanying the female's made a motion at the newcomer
but paused, ~No, Glaurung, my plan is working…better then expected~ sent Rex
privately and he wheezed a laugh which turned into a cough that heaved up blood.

He gasped and could not breath, and gathering his strength, began to push
himself off the ground just a few feet, but could not rise further against the
psychic hold and fell again. A screech escaped him as his fractured ribs broke
asunder and their sharp edges pressed from underneath his skin, one of which
stabbed out from the side of his chest and was exposed. Rex managed a hoarse
growl, but it was the only sound he could make under the pressure.

Leering at the dragon who replied only with the hoarse growl and blood, the
oddly colored Mew shook his head disapprovingly. His powerful psychic hold
literally tossed the massive dragon hardly bothered by his colossal size and
weight. "Forgive this intrusion ladies, I believe this beast needs a lesson in
etiquette when conversing with the fairer sex if others are unwilling to perform
the task…" he said quietly, with a charming smile directed at Shyreen and a leer
to the dark blue mew. His attention hardly directed at Rex whom he dragged off
the beach into the lake, neck-high, with his deadly pressured grasp.

Aware that the dragon likely had more resistance then this by his size alone,
yet he was also adequately prepared for anything unexpected. Leaning forward to
take hold of Shyreen's paw and kiss it tenderly he smiled, "I will be back
shortly to have him apologise, milady…" he replied softly before teleporting
above the lake.

Observing the way the other female behaved towards the dark blue mew, he
presumed that the lovely specimen who had won his attention was single and so
did not dispatch with the formal pleasantries. His eyes directed down to Rex
whom he had submerged to his chin under the water, in one of the deepest areas
off the shoreline, and held firm with his psychic. "Now… Where to begin…" he
replied calmly before dunking Rex beneath the water and holding him fast for a
few seconds before raising his nose and ears above the surface. "As yes,
threatening the fairer sex is unfitting for gentlemen… Nor, is addressing such
as lovely mademoiselle with such an insolent tone sufficient…"

he replied for a brief pause. He used his powers to let Rex slip beneath the
waves with his own weight for a moment. His psychic utilized with a masterful
precision to restrict the dragon's wings and arms to reduce the surface
displacement. The force of his restrained posture and rock-type body causing him
to sink like a stone unless held above water.

Waiting for nearly twenty seconds this time, he released the hold slightly to
let Rex rise head level above the waves; forcing his head to stare in the
opposite direction in the event he wished to rebel. "Now then, I would like you
to apologise to those lovely ladies for your behaviour… You will address them
properly with a title befitting their status, and then you will fly away and
never return… Is that understood worm?!" he asked, a surge of anger in his aura.
The psychic hold around Rex suddenly increasing with enough force to nearly
crush bones before he whipped Rex out from the water and onto the beach with a
long skid along the grass.

Teleporting to the top of the dragon's head where he concluded with an Iron Tail
straight down to send him crashing back into the ground, his head held firm in
the dust while the psychic embrace across his body departed in an instant. Aware
Rex could not do much with his head pinned, as he awaited the apology from the
beast who had put him in a poor mood this morning. Since to insult such lovely
creatures so early in the morning was a crime far worse than he had let others
live for in the past.

Shyreen's cold stare lessened from his polite words and she held Tsunami in one
paw and allowed him to take the other as pleasant surprise showed on her face.
She did not lose her graceful composure and merely gave a small smile and nod in
return to his proposal to teach the dragon manners. She glanced at her daughter
for a moment, "That is how you great a lady" she said.

Rex felt pain course through his bones as he hit the lake and at first he was
not worried. He knew Glaurung would heal him and he had a far worse experience
in the coils of Galadrith. He would take whatever this Mew could give him and
laugh it off and then apologize. But as soon as his chest was bellow the water
he felt water flow through the holes his broken ribs had made and begin to fill
his lungs despite his head being above the water, panic began to set in.

Shyreen felt satisfaction as she watched the Aerodactyl disappear below the
surface, but she did not notice beside her, Glaurung winced and held his sides
in pain. He could sense Rex telling him not to interfere before he went under,
but after he was submerged he felt his panic. ~Michael?~ he sent and watched as
Rex was brought back up.

Rex's eyes were glowing bright red as he came up and tried to say something but
only coughed up pink water. When he went down again he began to flail underwater
but his movement quickly slowed as his strength vanished since even when his
head was above the surface, he could not breathe as water filled his lungs
through his wounds. He did not resist when he was surfaced and dunked again, and
as he was brought up the crushing force of being thrown and hitting the shore
did not register in his mind as it was already overloaded with pain as he was
forced to stand by the Mew's psychic powers. He was too week to shield himself
and was struck in the head again by the iron tail and collapsed unconscious on
the shore.

Glaurung gaped in horror as he felt his other half begin to drown beneath the
waves and winched every time he was dunked. Shyreen watched but had to close her
eyes as Rex was struck in the head again and collapsed on shore like a rag doll.
Feeling he must have learned his lesson she reached out to touch the other Mew
with her powers, "Now he cannot apologize, but I think that is-" she said and
was cut off as the dark blue mew next to her produced an unnatural sounding roar
as he flew through the air at the other Mew and quickly transformed into an jet
black Aerodactyl mid air, equivalent in size to his counterpart with a frill,
hole filled wings and 14 inch talons and 6 inch claws "Your killing him!
Michael!" roared Glaurung and he instantly formed a shadow ball many times the
Mew's size and hurled it at Rex's assaulter.

Surprised when the dark blue mew flew at him, transforming mid-air, the oddly
colored mew weaved to the side gracefully. Gliding inches below Glaurung,
narrowly evading the shadow ball as he blinked his pink eyes in confusion.
Sensing the satisfaction from the female he lowered his ears and released his
grasp on the dragon, teleporting the massive-creature to the nearby bank
parallel the lakeside cave. His telepathy stretched out toward the other male
Mew all in a single motion, despite the narrow Shadow Ball evasion that had
heightened his adrenalin. ~I will not wage warfare in the presence of ladies,
besides, I trust that your dear friend requires your assistance…~ he sent
solemnly, having sensed the unusual pain from the dragon shortly after the
second dunk which had been partially why he had stopped early.

Glaurung didn't hear a word that was said to him and the slits in his red eyes
widened in fear as Rex disappeared from view. Spotting him on the bank he
teleported over and with gentle care he put a hand behind Rex's back and the
other behind his knees and picked up the other Aerodactyl, cradling him close.
"Sil pacet Michael, mihi ingoscas sins mea" said Glaurung as he began to weep
bitterly and they both were teleported from sight.

Glaurung reappeared in a large cave still cradling the other dragon as a fierce
blizzard howled outside. The black Aerodactyl breathed a large flamethrower to
instantly warm up the cold floor, then gently as he could laid the grey Aero
down on his back. He faced the cave entrance and concentrated for a moment as he
reached out with his powers and seized millions of individual snowflakes and had
them converge at the entrance making a wall of snow to seal out the wind. He
turned his attention back to Rex and immediately used his powers to begin to
slide his bones back into place. As he had his ribs begin to align up he felt
fatigue quickly begin to overcome him and he began to panic. Glaurung placed his
hands on Rex's chest as pushed down, squeezing the water out of them and re
breaking his ribs as he did so. The black Aerodactyl began to sway, he faltered,
caught himself then faltered again and fell forward involuntarily over the grey
one's chest and passed himself into unconsciousness.

+++

Teleporting next to Shyreen, he bowed his head with courtly politeness. "Pardon
the aggression milady, I believe the cretin shall not behave so brashly in the
future, so with your grace I shall spare his life…" he replied with his head
still bowed. Raising his eyes to study the small white kitten in her arms, which
had a less than impressed expression – especially after what Shyreen had said.
"And forgive my rudeness; I was passing overhead when I took notice of these
events…" he said with a slight pause out of politeness to let her take in his
apology. "My name is Spiritus…" he said, fluidity switching to telepathy, ~But,
you may use the name Spirit if you prefer…~, he said switching back to speech,
"May I have the name of this lovely angel standing before my eyes, and her
precious child…?" he asked brushing his tail lightly over the kitten for her to
play. Only to have it nearly scratched by her tiny claws and pulled with humor.

Cool morning winds blew across the lake. Spring was in the air. And he knew that
time was short for soon the annual festival would take place. It was the
gathering of their kind intended to ensure the successive generations and ensure
the survival of their legendary blood. It had been there, nearly four years ago,
that he had met his first mate whom had perished of disease earlier this winter.
Yet he wondered why so many Mews were gathered here undeterred by the proximity
of the festivities. His soft gaze drifted from the lovely angelic Shyreen to the
kitten who stared at him with a deathly stare, in silence, which unnerved him
faintly since he had never encountered such a child.
Beneath the mild chilling gaze however were his questions concerning the father
of the kitten?

If the lovely specimen was indeed disengaged then perhaps something had happened
to her former mate. In either case he was bound to his chivalry and would not
abandon the ladies in their hour of need, he mildly pondered why the other male
Mew had chosen the life of the worm over the honor of his mate. But his primary
concern was this enchanting Mew and her child.

Shyreen was mildly impressed by his manners and it reminded her of her own
Father and what gentle care and love he took for her Mother. He had also died of
disease shortly after her brother Spirit was born. Though she did partly wonder
at herself if she was impressed only because the only male she knew to use any
manners was Galadrith. Thinking of her friend she realized he was not here and
quickly scanned the surrounding area to find him sleeping at the entrance of
Falcon's cave. She decided he could use the rest and turned her attention back
to Spiritus and looked up over carefully before looking at his pink eyes.

He almost seemed like a quick answer to a prayer, showing up so quickly when she
needed help, though she could have done the same to Rex, her fear and confusion
as to why she was being attacked by a friend kept her frozen. "I am Shyreen and
this is my daughter Tsunami. We live here at this lake with my sister Celestia
and some friends. Thank you for helping us, I am not sure what I would have
done" she said solemnly "Though I am sure Rex will apologize when he returns"
she said, knowing that he would be back as long as he did not know of his own
wife's location.

Celestia blinked in alarm when she sensed the sudden anger and fear from her
mate, long before she winced from the loud war cry. She had known that he and
Rex were close, but she had partially enjoyed – on a lower primitive level – the
savage display against the senseless pervert. Watching Glaurung blink to the
lakeside where Rex had teleported, she sighed quietly. Sensing deep down that
something was far direr in the situation for both then she had initially
anticipated.

~I will return shortly, Shyreen, take good care of master… And tell me more
about this cute stranger when I get back…!~ she sent quietly, with a faintly
lighter tone towards the end of her private speech. Not waiting for a reply due
to the lingering presence of her mate as he began for a longer teleport, she
managed to teleport to his side and vanished from sight half a second before
they teleported to an unseen location miles and miles away.

Deterred slightly by the sudden departure of the other female, Spiritus paid it
little attention since he felt that she was merely following her irrational
mate. He was still irritated that the dark blue Mew had wished to battle in
front of the ladies to begin with, such a senseless display of power before the
fairer sex. In either case, listening to Shyreen snapped him back to the moment
and caused his mild irritation to fade into faint admiration.

Lightly taking a hold of her free paw once more, he cordially kissed the back
more tenderly then before, and then raised his eyes to meet her own. "Then it is
indeed to my excellent fortune and pleasure that I was passing by, it is a
pleasure to meet you mademoiselle…" he said charmingly as he kissed the back of
her paw to show respect. His eyes suggested his mild curiosity in this female.

And then without warning he felt a sudden sting from his tail and whipped it
back to his side in response, his awareness drifted to the odd child in her
paws. Rapidly realising that she had bit him, he stared at her for a brief
moment in bewilderment then forced a smile. "And it is a pleasure to meet you as
well Lady Tsunami…" he chuckled despite the mild sting on his tail from the
bite. Fortunately for him her teeth were still small but he was still shocked
that the daughter of such an elegant flower of femininity would display such
disregard for the mannerisms befitting a lady. His tone suggested his
forgiveness of the situation, but also to inform the child that he was less than
impressed with her behavior.

A factor that caused the kitten to simply shrug her arms and lean back against
Shyreen satisfied with her efforts to inform him that she was less than
impressed. Silently transmitting a half-dozen words to the Mew which caused him
to blink in surprise, all the more, before he shook his head with a smile and
turned back to face Shyreen.

Shyreen did not have time to reply to her sister, but did touch her aura to let
her know she was loved before she vanished. She was very much charmed by his
manners, to the point where she almost involuntarily giggled, but she controlled
herself and her aura and did not show it and only replied to him with curiosity
"It was" she said just before he was bitten. Hearing the way Spiritus addressed
her daughter and sensing something pass between the child and male, she could
very well guess what just happened. Tsunami's jealousy could be felt in her
aura, and it came as no surprise to Shyreen, since she used to be Falcon and her
mate.

"I am sorry about my daughter" said Shyreen as she held Tsunami up and locked
her brown eyes with her daughter's emerald gaze so she knew she meant very
serious business. "You will say your sorry to Spiritus, who just saved you. You
will thank him. And you will say nothing more" she said calmly and with the
promise of a severe spanking in her voice if she did not immediately obey. She
wasn't at all afraid or ashamed to discipline her children in public, or in
front of strangers since it proved most effective on herself in her own
childhood when she threw her own tantrums.

Tsunami feigned boredom while Shyreen spoke to her in the mother tone.
Scratching at an itch on one ear, she cringed slightly upon realising the
threatening tone from the elder mew. But she also felt Shyreen was bluffing and
that she would not dare do something like that in public if she was honestly
falling for his `lame' guise at being a gentleman. The whole situation made her
uncomfortable and she did not like the idea of Shyreen comparing her former
approaches with this, this thing! "Nothing more…" she spoke, her tone feigning a
playful giggle even though she knew her intentions perfectly.

This new pest did not know the real relationship they had, so how would he feel
about a mother disciplining her child for merely being `innocently' playful.
Another verbal reprimand perhaps, but she had grown used to those by now.
Besides, Shyreen had no right to treat her THIS childishly, so she figured she
would capitalize on that perception if only to make a point about how much she
despised being referred to as a lady or Shyreen's daughter.

Unfortunately for Tsunami, Spiritus found her antics less than amusing.
"Delightful charm and rudeness to her mother… How befitting for a young lady…"
he said quietly with a casual flick of his tail. ~Pardon my intrusion milady,
but has her father not instructed her in proper decorum…?~ he sent with the
duel-purpose of learning more about the family relations surrounding these two,
and hint that he did not mind at all if Shyreen followed through with her unsaid
promise.

He remembered perfectly well the way that his mother had used that tone with him
when he had been growing up, since he had been far from obedient. Yet he was
also grateful for her `tough' love back then since he knew he would not be who
he was today without her reprimands. He knew the cute child was only being
protective of her mother, albeit entirely taking what she had sent privately out
of context. But he also had zero interests in catering to the selfish desires of
a little brat who's father clearly was not, or had not, been performing her
educational duties.

"Do not smart mouth me little girl" said Shyreen firmly and ignored Spiritus for
the moment just so Tsunami would know how serious she was. She teleported them
both to a nearby rock where she sat down and immediately and held the kitten
firmly on her lap and held her there with her paw raised for a moment so the
anticipation would be unbearable for the child "I told you to apologize" said
Shyreen and immediately gave her five swift swats then paused "I told you to say
thank you!" she said firmly and raised her voice slightly and gave her five more
swats though harder then before then paused again "And you will not have an
attitude or smart mouth your Mommy!" she said and gave Tsunami ten more swats,
even harder then the previous before turning her over and holding her so she had
to look at her angry gaze.

Shyreen knew perfectly well all the little thoughts and reasonings that Tsunami
had behind her actions, but at the same time they were irrelevant to her and she
would be obeyed by her child and would not negotiate or give any ground
irregardless of what her past life was.

Tsunami flinched when she heard the condescending voice raising. Alarm flooded
throughout her aura, instinctively, when she found herself teleported with
Shyreen and lay across her lap. Squirming against the paw on her back, she knew
what was coming long before she felt the first sting. Tears welled up in her
eyes before she felt the first swat, the public humiliation eating away at her
pride.

Each successive spank merely confirmed her suspicions that Shyreen was going to
be irrational and cruel with this entire awkward situation. "Wh... Eye" she
began with tears streaming down her face when Shyreen turned her to face the
angry gaze, but she hesitated recalling the last time she talked back after
being punished. This was not fair at all, she was an adult and she was being
treated like an ordinary child, Shyreen was cruel.

Out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed Spiritus over to the side faintly
smiling at her punishment. His justifying gaze caused her to grow timid and
avert her eyes to the ground in a way Shyreen would never have managed. Since
regardless about how she felt towards him for flirting with `her' mate, he was
still more of a male then she was in this diminutive state. It felt so degrading
to be reprimanded in front of a stranger, especially a male, who did not
understand their delicate relationship. "Fine…! Sorry!" she yelled after a long
pause before bursting into tears.

It was one thing to have Shyreen or those who knew her to treat her like a
`young lady' but this felt entirely different. Her sore bottom was only a
fraction of the severe blow to her pride manufactured purely by having a rival
for Shyreen watching her new subordination. She held her shoulders low, paws in
her lap, with tale entwined around herself passively; giving the illusion of a
feminine posture for the first time since this whole awkward situation had
began, a timid posture.

Spiritus watched in silence as Shyreen administered the punishment. He felt a
bit sorry for the child when she burst into tears, not understanding the real
reasons, but he also knew better than to interfere with the bond between a
mother and her child. Besides, the little brat had deserved it, he wondered how
any male would have let their daughter turn out so boyish and defiant.
Teleporting to Shyreen's side after a moment or two for the mother to reconcile
the child, he sighed quietly.

~Does your daughter always behave this way? Or does her father merely do nothing
to prevent it… These issues should not have to fall exclusively to the radiant
light of the family…~ he sent quietly, mixed with flattery and reassurance that
she had done the right thing while subtly probing deeper into their family
roots. A part of him wondered if perhaps she would be interested in accompanying
him to the annual ceremonies, but it would be rude to ask so early.

Shyreen took strong notice of the timid posture Tsunami assumed, and how she was
unnerved by Spiritus's gaze. She stood up and set Tsunami down so she could
recover. She heard his question, but was a little reluctant to answer to a
stranger more intimate secrets, but she felt she could trust him with a few
since he did assist her in her great need. ~She does always behave as this…her
Father is dead~ she sent privately and softly with some sadness. She did enjoy
his genuine gentlemanly behavior and compliments, but flattery, compliments that
were not true, bothered her since she knew it affected her humility, and she
never was very humble as her brother or sister were.

Though she was looking at Spirit, her mind was on Tsunami more, wondering what
would become of her and putting aside Spirit's kindness and help he gave, part
of her wondered if he could be proper mate for her. She knew easily enough he
was interested by his actions and questions, but was surprised at herself for
giving it serious thought so soon and wondered if it could have been from
loneliness on her part.

Spiritus listened to her words with a sincere understanding and mild hope. He
understood the pain that she was experiencing all too well since the loss of his
own mate. ~I am saddened to hear that milady; my own mate has recently passed on
as well… Though, I am not burdened by any children remaining at home…~ he sent
with a pause and drifted his eyes over to Tsunami. Noting her submissive fragile
posture with her tail entwined around herself, despite her back facing himself
and Shyreen. He decided to let her disrespectful, albeit feminine, posture slide
for now instead of voicing his concerns again.

~If it would please you, I could remain with you two for a while… If only to act
as a father-figure which she so desperately might desire…?~ he sent calmly,
deciding to choose his words carefully. In his opinion this child needed a
father-figure more then she might want one, but saying so would have been
impolite.

~Or perhaps… Were you taking her, and those other two, to the annual
ceremonies…?~ he asked with a curious yet compassionate tone. Only able to
imagine how it must feel for her, a single mother, to have lost her mate
compared to his own situation. His flattery was far from insincere. To him she
was the loveliest creature he had even observed, even beyond his previous mate,
and yet she also had mystery to her aura that enticed his curiosities. ~Of
course… I do not wish to impose if you had other intentions or wished to remain
alone… I am certain an angel such as yourself must have many suitors' at call…~
he sent quietly, partially convinced that it was true.

The annual grounds were nearby and he doubted that he had been the only male to
observe the lovely specimen honouring him with her refined presence. He was
truly concerned for not only Shyreen but also for the child. Since he did not
wish for her to grow up and bring dishonour to either her mother or their
species with a composure not befitting the gift of nature.

Meanwhile, Tsunami sat where she had been placed. Hiding faintly behind the
stone, which was nearly her height standing, to avoid either Shyreen or the male
from seeing her tears. She felt humiliated to have been spanked publically in
front of a stranger, and Shyreen did not have any right. It was like a lose-lose
situation where it felt like anything she did only made her be treated more like
a child. It felt like a failed attempt at Aggregation even though she could not
recall the precise word.

She clung to her tail lightly in her paws while she quietly sobbed. Her eyes
drifting down her body, realising this was exactly what any stranger saw her as,
a weak little girl and nothing else. And if that was how strangers saw her, she
felt a stab of dread when a male her age saw her and maybe wanted to make her
his mate. To her that entire concept was disgusting, but her encounter with
Glaurung earlier had showed her the reality of it. And she feared that the next
time she might not be as fortunate, she did not know the first thing about being
some random male's mate nor did she ever wish to learn. But she was also torn
between the inevitability.

~I was not planning on going there, but I may end up there sooner rather then
later since fate seems to be drawing my family hence, and you may stay. I know
Glaurung and Celestia were planning on attending. And you are welcome to stay,
if you have nothing better to do?~ she asked with a cool and normal tone, though
she was quite charmed by him, she was feeling that Spiritus was taking things a
bit quickly for her taste. She began to feel the weight of the responsibilities
of Tsunami's needs, more so then a normal child since she was in fact far from
it, and was not even sure yet if Spirit being here would be good for her
daughter's unique situation, though it was also growing on her that his would
only be a positive influence.

The realization occurred to her that none of them, other then Tsunami, knew how
to get to the island at all, so Spirit may be their only guide there and part of
her was amused with the idea of letting him think he was not needed until the
last moment. ~Though…irony is, that none of us even know how to get there…would
you know, Spirit?~ she asked sweetly, with a tone of admitting need.

Spiritus smiled inwardly with a polite bow of his head in acceptance to her
requests. ~Then, I would be honored at remain at your side… For Tsunami's sake
of course… And yes, I do know of the shifting island for I was headed there
myself when I observed your tender situation?~ he offered politely with another
cordial bow of his head. To him Shyreen deserved to be treated like a princess
if not only for her beauty but her tender demeanor that demanded respect.

He truly did not wish to impose himself upon her, yet time was short, and he
felt the child offered a comfortable way for them both to let him ease into the
idea of remaining at her side. He was enamored by her mixed signals of interest
and casual refusals to his mild advances. ~She does deserve to have a male
around, if her father is gone, but she remains your daughter so naturally I
would never do anything concerning her without your consent…~ he replied
sincerely, fairly confident that she understood his intentions but he wished to
make certain either way.

~And I'm glad you took notice of us~ she sent then gave a small smile, ~and I
would appreciate some company, and help…she is a handful~ she sent with a sigh,
~before we depart I must tell my friend Galadrith what is happening, after we
arrive I will have to teleport back to retrieve him~ she sent and tilted her
head down and to the side so she had to turn her eyes up to him with a small
smile ~Oh, and he's an Onix~ she sent and turned to Tsunami, "We are going to be
going on a journey, stay here with Spirit, I must speak to Galadrith for a
moment" she sent then teleported away.

She found the giant graphite colored Onix in front of Falcon's cave, looking at
her with a knowing smile, almost as if he had been waiting for her. "What?"
asked Shyreen with a blush when she saw the look he was giving her. Galadrith
smiled some more and leaned down so he was closer to her "I am happy for you,
just be careful, not all Mew on the island are socialble" he said with a chuckle
then became serious "And some are dangerous. Keep with Spiritus, he has the same
feeling about him as your Father did." Shyreen smiled and hovered up to kiss him
on the forhead, "I will, and I will be back to take you there Galadrith" she
said with loving smile. She watched him nod in reply then teleported back to
Spirtus. ~Ready?~ she sent with a smile.

Bowing his head in acknowledgement, Spiritus drifted his eyes over to the kitten
that had stopped crying behind the rock. Her knees pulled up close with her head
buried in her paws, too embarrassed to look around despite her sore bottom. ~As
you wish… Milady…~ he said with cordial grace and folded his paws casually
watching the child from a distance. Patiently until Shyreen teleported back, he
smiled and nodded his head. ~I am ready whenever you are prepared to leave;
fortunately the island is not too far from here now… So I could teleport us
there if you wish, it might be easier then flying there with a child to attend
to…?~ he offered quietly and eyed Tsunami with a smile.

He noted her saddened yet complacent posture, detecting a faint willingness to
obey from her surface thoughts only since he did not wish to intrude too deeply
into the depths of her mind. He felt everybody deserved to have their secrets,
but he also was less concerned about the privacy of a young girl then that of
her lovely charming mother.

Lightly scooping Tsunami up with a psychic cradle to deposit her in the arms of
her mother, Tsunami was alarmed at first but then eased-up realizing resisting
was futile. Patiently waiting for Shyreen to nod, he replied with a faint bow of
his head. Tenderly wrapping his tail around the mother and child, he blinked his
pink eyes wishing that he could be closer to this family. ~Alright, here we go…~
he sent as the world all around them began to shimmer. It faded to an endless
sea of blue, with a relatively small island only fifty or so miles across,
directly below.

The rainforest terrain assaulted the gaze with the small lakes, rivers, and
decaying temple shrines that littered the terrain from an aerial view. The sight
caused Tsunami to blink her eyes with a mixture of horror and embarrassment, and
for the first time ever she cringed against Shyreen like she was attempting to
hide herself from view in the sea of white fur. A faint pink image from below
was rising to approach the new-comers, its long trailing tail distinctive of its
legendary species.

The Mew closed the distance between himself and the newcomers and began to speak
as soon as he stopped. "I am Augustus and am taking the names of all Mew who
arrive on our great island" he began, sounding as if he had been saying it all
week, "I need to know the season of your birth and the tribe you call from.
Shyreen smiled at him "Hello Augustus, I am Shyreen from the Mountain Tribe. I
was born 20 seasons ago" he glanced at Tsunami and ignored her for being to
young and turned his attention to Spiritus as if he expected a prompt answer.

Spiritus blinked in surprise when they were greeted by the other Mew from below.
He did not recall this phrase of questioning yet he knew perfectly well the
sacred tradition that it derived from. "And I am named Spiritus from the
Riverbend Tribe; I was born 21 seasons ago in summer…" he replied with a faint
anxious tone in his voice. Aware that every Mew that had come to the island this
year would have met with a similar string of questions, yet he hoped he would be
lucky once more this year, and if not he would be honoured by the traditional
mantle.

Silently however he hoped that his odd summer birth, as opposed to the ordinary
spring-kittens would give a fortunate asset to their chances. He noted Tsunami
clinging to her mother like she was scared to be here, it felt strange to him
somehow but he decided not to press on the issue unless she wished to discuss it
further or it became a problem. For now his concerns were just on winning the
challenge, and to express his sincere admiration for his lovely companion
Shyreen.

"Wonderful" replied Augustus looking relieved. "Many Mew seem to forget this,
but the island exists year round, not just during the festival and we who live
here must care for it. Anyways, we have prepared for 40 days beforehand for this
festival, 40 being the traditional perfect number of preparation, and adding one
to it would bring us to day 41, the start of the festival. And the first couple
who arrives whose seasons add up to 41 makes them the couple who have the honor
of being part of the festival. Be happy the mathematics are easy this year, last
year or witty astrologer had the idea for the couple to be chosen based off
their lunar months and the occurrence of the first eclipse since those months in
a formula that I can't quite…oh whatever. Follow me to the island, but before
you land you must assume the form of pikachu" he said sounding very relieved
that his work was finally over.

Shyreen was filled with nervousness, but obediently followed the other Mew down
to the island. She had not thought of the possibility of her being chosen, and
the fact that Spiritus was chosen with she took some solace in, since it made it
seem like he was destined to be with her. She wondered what he was thinking, but
did not even look over since the blush in her cheeks was showing through her
fur.

Dismayed by being selected, Spiritus nodded solemnly and exchanged a glance with
Shyreen only to observe her blushing and looked away equally shy. Reaching a few
feet from the ground, the ocean blue and green stripped Mew swallowed as his
form began to shimmer. His fur changed to a bright yellow with blackened strips
while his feline features became rodent-like with two electric red sacks on his
cheek. The psychic hold he had been using to keep himself a float dissipated
with the loss of his psychic-typing and dropped him painlessly the two feet to
the ground.

His features were identical to a year-old Pikachu, with the exception of a few
bands of blue and green on either side of his blackened stripes. "Alright…" he
said with a slightly higher tone of voice than normal, his words spoken in
Pikachu as he glanced up at Shyreen waiting for her to follow. He was aware that
this tradition was an honour, although he still had a sense of nagging fear
concerning the end of the festivities and the typical fate of those chosen to
participate.

Tsunami cringed as Shyreen, and ultimately herself, floated down to the island.
She clung to Shyreen, not wishing to be seen here on the island for personal
reasons. The sound of the Pikachu voice caused her to turn and stare down at the
yellow mouse. She adored seeing her `rival' in such as feeble position, aware
that she could sniff out his existence in an instant now if it had not been for
tradition. Quietly teleporting free from Shyreen, aware that she was to follow.

The young kitten began to darkly calculate her options with this pleasant turn
of events. It was true that she had never intended to return to this island
after that dark day, but she also could not refuse the opportunity to be free of
Shyreen and Spiritus forever. Yes Shyreen held value as a teacher, in feminine
decor, although she also intended to obtain her revenge for the previous
twenty-four hours of absolute humiliation she had suffered at the other Mew's
paws.

Shyreen followed suit and closed her eyes as she transformed into cream white
Pikachu with grey stripes inches above the ground and used her powers as they
faded to gracefully make what she hoped was not her last landing. She watched as
Augustus raised a paw and used disable on both of them before touching them with
his tail to teleport them all to the side of a small pond. ~You may wait here
till you are called upon tomorrow, go wherever you wish for you have been marked
and no predator will touch you~ he sent then teleported from sight. ~Yet…~
thought Shyreen sadly to herself.

The snow swept wind blew fiercely outside the cave entrance that had been sealed
off with a wall of snow. In side the huge light blue walled cave a 40 foot long
jet black Aerodactyl lay unconscious across the heavily bruised chest of an
equal sized grey Aerodactyl whose breathing had become short and shallow before
stopping altogether.

In his mind, Glaurung was standing above a small frozen quarry, and watched as
team of men in suits brushed dust and ice away from the skull of a an
Aerodactyl, which had become exposed to the sun and elements, while its body
below the next was still intact, covered in flesh so it looked living underneath
the prison of ice where it was contained. The men worked on as if he were not
even there and he watched as one of them drilled a hole through the ice to
insert a needle into the still preserved black skinned body.

The image faded and next he saw a very tiny four inch long grey Aerodactyl from
nose to tail, yet fully developed floating suspended in a large glass tube in
the center of a room filled with various screens and medical instruments. He
reached out his two foot black paw and just as his claws touched the glass, he
found himself standing in a gymnasium and watched as a red Blaziken spun a pole
behind his head so fast it whistled before using it to strike a large and thick
wooden beam as a five foot tall grey Aero watched him. They too faded from view
and he blinked his red eyes and their black slits widened as he saw an 18 foot
tall Aero standing on an altar under the center of a very large doom supported
by many thick columns.

He was holding a gem in his hands and looking at it, and Glaurung was surprised
when the other Aerodactyl looked strait at him and smiled sadly. He silently
mouthed "forgive me" and tears welled in his red eyes as his whole body began to
glow in a bright white light before he threw his head back and roared though
Glaurung heard no sound, and watched as the grey dragon vanished in a blinding
flash and a massive dome of energy spread outwards from his body and consumed
the temple before turning into a gigantic, silent explosion and after the dust
and smoke cleared only a wide and gapping crater remained where the temple used
to be. "Michael!" screamed Glaurung, but the vision faded and he then saw only
himself as a Mew holding both Celestia and their kitten as they rested under the
shade of a tree.

Celestia vanished alongside her mate and Rex, only to reappear a short distance
from where the other two had arrived. Floating above the cave as the chilling
winds nipped at her short fur, she shivered and blinked her eyes. Creating a
thin psychic bubble around herself to shield her from the cold while she stared
around the area in confusion. The snowy terrain alerted her to the reality and
distance they had teleported as she floated down to the cave. Her eyes closed to
sense the dwindling auras deep within the rock.

And then she vanished, reappearing inside the cave to find both Aerodactyl
unconscious on the icy floor. Sighing quietly to herself, she began to probe the
depths of their subconscious to gauge their condition and state of health. She
still remembered when Glaurung had first told her about the connection that he
and Rex shared.

~Stupid worm…~ she groaned silently to herself recalling how his present state
had been his own fault. A mild blush on her cheeks when she thought about that
strange male from before who had actually stood up for their honour when so few
others would lately. Her eyes casually drifted from Glaurung to Rex, noting the
severity of their injuries and the intertwined fading aura that the two shared.

She knew that what happened to one likely affected the other, yet she had
trouble bringing herself to want to help Rex for any reason beyond helping her
mate. A saddened emotion danced throughout her aura like wild-fire as she
teleported to Rex's side and placed both her paws over his chest. Concentrating
heavily to pour her calming refreshing aura throughout his body, forcibly
drawing the water from his lungs like the poison from a wound.

Rex watched as he saw dozens of copies of himself surrounding him. He looked
around as some cursed at him, others growled threats or stared with piercing
gazes, some laughed and all were closing in on him. Looking down he saw that he
was holding three sleeping Mew in his hands, one white, the second dark blue and
the third white with blue stripes. One of the dragons lunged at him, but he bent
turned and kicked it away. The others leapt at him as one and he was forced to
bend over, holding the Mews close to his chest to shield them as the many
dragons clawed, slashed and beat fiercely at him. They drove him down to his
knees and he bent over to use his body as a shield as the gang as he was being
ripped to shreds, he closed his eyes tightly and held the Mews close, refusing
to surrender them to other dragons that attacked him and he watched as his blood
began to fly, splatter and pour down around him

Rex opened his eyes for a moment to see the cave ceiling and involuntarily
coughed up pink water, making his chest ache with incredible pain to the point
where he passed out again, but began to breathe again in shallow breaths.

Celestia winced from the strain of her effort. Her aura pulsated through her
paws into Rex like healing water, forcing the water throughout his body evenly
to hydrate and dilute the effects to minimal harm. Small beads of sweat formed
on her brow, her eyes drifted over to Glaurung, her telepathy reaching out to
observe the gradual stability of his aura. Breathing a sigh of relief, she shook
her head faintly and remained focused on the present task.

A few tears began to roll down her cheek as she concentrated on using her aura,
from within Rex, to mend the lung with careful precision. Several tears streamed
from her eyes as she finally opened her eyes, nearly an hour after beginning the
painstaking process. Hurt that everything had come to this, saddened that she
had been forced into this situation. She had never liked Rex, and after his
threats against her family she would have been content letting him perish. But,
not at the loss of Glaurung.

Fatigue rushed throughout her body. She had to struggle to remain awake as she
moved to the back wall of the cavern. She quietly eyed the two weakly, her eyes
drifting down to her paws that displayed the faint traces of her pink aura from
her overexerted `surgery'. ~It looks like I overdid it again…~ she thought
quietly to herself.

The cool wintery air of the cave relaxed her enough to remain awake, to ensure
Glaurung pulled through whatever link they shared. She felt ashamed of herself
for helping the wretched perverted worm, yet her hatred for Rex did not quite
rival the love she felt toward Glaurung and that pain his death might bring. The
traces of her aura lingering within Rex warmed his frozen bones, promoting a
gentle rhythm of relaxation throughout his entire body. Her efforts to heal his
wound drained Celestia beyond mere words.

The black Aerodactyl's aura began to brighten and as it did he slowly opened his
red eyes and a glow of light filled them as he awoke. He lifted himself from the
floor and looked at his paws then to his counterpart still sleeping on the
floor. Glaurung stared for a moment, amazed that he somehow sensed Celestia's
aura radiating off of Rex's body and slowly he turned his gaze to the small
white and blue stripped Mew sitting at the back wall.

He smiled at her and reached out his left hand and gently picked her up, ~I
would rather be a Mew with you now, but I must remain as Michael for a short
time to keep you both warm~ he sent. ~And thank you Celestia…I know how much he
hurt you…thank you~ he sent as his love for her filled his aura. He lay down
next to Rex and set her at his own black side and placed both his paws gently on
Rex's chest and continued the work she began, using his powers to concentrate on
the healing process and to speed it up.

Fatigued from the drain on her aura, Celestia forced a weary smile when she was
picked up in one of his paws. She softly nuzzled him to return his unspoken
affection. Her eyes drifted down to the ground in an effort to hide her tears.
~I helped him for you… I do not want to lose you to his primitive gestures…~ she
thought aloud over his link.

She was uncertain whether Rex would hear her through his subconscious yet a part
of her hoped that he would. If it had been under any other situation she would
have been content permitting Rex to perish, it would be a fitting punishment for
his fowl words and actions against her sister and cherished family. Yet she
would not endanger the life of her beloved merely because of her vendetta
against the dragon.

A part of her wondered whether there was a way to terminate their link. She
hated to think of how fragile her mate was when bound to the loose cannon. "Is
there not any way to split from him forever…" she asked wearily, her eyes
flickered sleepily while she strained to remain awake if only to retain her
psychic globe from the cold.

The traces of her aura within Rex slowly began to dissipate into the air through
his skin despite the warmth it left on his wounds, accelerating the healing
process on a microscopic level.

Glaurung smiled when she nuzzled him, but was quite for a moment after she
spoke. "I know you helped him for me" he said with a sigh and folded his wing
over her so she did not need her psychic bubble to stay warm. "And try to
understand Celestia, we have had a complicated past, though he has always loved
me, and I him. Even when I tried to destroy many times, he always forgave me and
loved me still. It is not possible to severe our link, Michael and I can chose
to not hear each others thoughts, but if either of us chooses to know the others
thoughts or feelings, I could not keep him out of my mind, nor could he keep me
from his. Though believe me, though he can Michael has never intruded on any
thought for you, and has always cut our link when I spoke with you whether they
were casual or intimate moments" he said reassuringly and looked at Michael
again as he slept peacefully.

"I will not blame you for hating him, but even if I could be separate from him,
I would not have it so. After he created me, for fifteen years I have been
trying to corrupt him, I have tempted him, betrayed him, and even killed some of
his friends. He was not the way he is now. He was selfless, gentle and sensitive
to others and I was the one who changed that. I believe he forgave me because he
held himself responsible for my actions. It was I who was the brute, cruel and
wicked…so I cannot betray him again Celestia, and allow him to descend down the
path I set him on, I want to bring him back, I am in debt to him, and I will
always love him"

Saddened by his response, Celestia cuddled against his wing lovingly. ~What
about us though… I could have lost you today for something that was not your
doing… This feels dangerous…~ she sent quietly. Sensitive to his concerns yet
she also feared the future if anything ever happened to him because of this
unnatural bond. She feared for their future children, what they might do without
a father, or if Rex tried to manipulate Glaurung to do his bidding against her
family. ~I know that I could never understand your relationship… But, regardless
if you are connected or not you will both always have those memories and that
bond…~ she replied quietly. Too weary to form the link herself, despite her
awareness gradually returning as her aura restored itself like the precious gift
of blood needed to survive. She wondered if there even was a way to sever the
link between the two, to permit a normal relationship with her beloved, if he
wished.

Glaurung chuckled and gently nuzzled her with his nose "Do not fret over me.
Michael and I have had our bond since I existed, he has always respected not to
read my thoughts I did not want him to know and he will not change now, nor is
he the wicked worm that is going to eat you. Just give him a chance, you know
how he tried to protect our relationship and will continue to do many other
things for reprimanding his harm to our family. I really meant it when I said I
don't blame you for hating him, just try not hold onto it since you will only
hurt yourself and me…after all he is me and it hurts me too. Just give him a
chance, he will bend over backwards and be unwaveringly loyal. You will not be
disappointed" he said gently with a smile.

Celestia drooped her ears low and looked off to the side to hide her sorrow.
~It's not that easy I am afraid…~ she thought quietly not certain how else to
respond. She did not think that he would ever comprehend how deeply she opposed
Rex and everything he was, past or present to her and her relationship with
Glaurung. "He has attacked and threatened my family… All of the ones that I have
left in this world…

But, I will try… For you…" she spoke quietly before she gave him a gentle
nuzzle. ~But you must be tired… Please go to sleep to conserve your strength, I
will stay up to keep watch…~ she sent wearily. She intentionally hid her
fatigued state since she knew that her mate likely needed his rest to recover
from his earlier strains. Yet she was aware she was more experienced with
healing and she wanted to be supportive of abilities.

The black dragon smiled at the the white and blue stripped mew's selfless
suggestion to stay awake as his huge paw easily covered her, "I know he has hurt
you…and I thank you" he said gently. "And do not worry about staying awake,
there is already another watching over us as I speak, did you not sense him?"
said Glaurung the he looked at her and his red eyes began to glow in a blue
light as he used hypnosis on her to put her to sleep. He knew she probably did
not sense the other creature's presence since she had exhausted herself helping
Michael and Glaurung himself was not worried since he had felt it before and the
creature did nothing then, so he figured he would not interfere now. He then
kissed her head and tucked her in his left wing and glanced over Michael once
more before laying his right wing over him and falling to sleep himself.

Lowering his new longer ears in acknowledgement of the other Mew, Spiritus felt
a drain on his mind like he had forgotten how to do something: how to transform
back to normal or even change shapes. It was like he was trapped this way, along
with Shyreen, until called upon tomorrow. He was at least grateful the other Mew
had teleported them someplace comfortable to wait out the long evening. "We
might as well get comfortable…" he said with a low tone of voice, glancing over
at Shyreen for a moment before he blushed at her lovely creamy white coloring
and turned to the side.

His inability to control his emotions as before reflected in a faint electrical
discharge from his cheeks which caused him to blush deeper. "And do not fear
milady, I will think of a way for at least you to be spared after the
ceremonies…" he replied with a sincere confidence in his voice even though he
had zero clues how to fulfill his promise against the odds.

Drifting his eyes up to the setting sun and crimson streaks of red and pink in
the evening sky, he stayed quiet for a moment. His new senses alert to the every
sound of Pokémon movement in the bushes, likely a defensive technique against
predators, while he hid his blush relieved that she could not sense his aura
that he presumed was clouded with mixed feelings towards the lovely
cream-colored mouse. "Though, I am sorry that it had to come to this… I am
uncertain how you wish to pursue our course of action when the sun rises
tomorrow for the opening ceremonies…."

He replied momentarily. Aware of the punishment if they refused to participate
in the opening festivities for the younglings yet that did not compare with his
desire to ensure Shyreen was willing the entire process. All of his life he had
been raised to respect the fairer sex, and even now, he revered her as the
superior despite his natural instincts to dominate.

For her home had been the annual breeding grounds for centuries, and while she
had zero interest in ever participating like this, returning to the lakeside
cave was simply not an option when she could linger and humiliate her former
captors. Her destination unexpectedly collided with an older male Mew who had
been out, performing chores for the closing ceremony event. "Watch it!" she
sassed in irritation, floating away from him and rubbing her side where they had
collided quite hard.

"Meh i could care less about how big he is." Puffing out his cheeks he said. " Though i wont be very good against his fighting type attacks."
He looked at kruz very hard. "Why are you helping this pokemon? Why are you so trusting in other pokemon? What is your purpose in life?"
He looked back at the fire.

Nobody had ever cared about kruz. nobody had ever been his friend, except for
two pokemon : Asheel, and Gill.

"108...he does not kill for fun, or thrill. He is under Beelzenyx's thumb.
Forgiveness is divine, little Gill."

Kruz bowed his head, and he wept.

Exchanging another set of giggles the two Ninetails merely looked over their
shoulders in absolute unison to eye Katara insultingly. "Have fun babysitting,
kiddo… We can see how far you `manners' get you when your new mate returns from
hunting for you and the other babies…" they said in unison, further displaying
their identical twin-like features. The two Ninetails slipped down a few rocks
to the edge of the brush line, the one on the right slipping out of site
followed closely by the other that simply glanced over her shoulder in hopes of
seeing the first few signs of tears from the younger Vulpix. Neither of them
thought it would be too difficult to force this one into depression like Sera;
it already appeared that she was deeply saddened.

Arianna looked up at her mother with a confused but trusting expression. Lightly
cuddling her head in against her mother's soft fur before she raised her eyes
back up to her mother. "Do you think that Katara-sama likes me, mommy…?" she
whispered with a saddened voice, careful not to ask loud enough to hurt the
approaching Vulpix's feelings. But she had felt kind of brushed off last night
and she could not help but wonder if Katara was only being nice to her out of
formality like some of the others. Exchanging a quiet look with her mother,
hoping for an equally silent answer as Katara entered the den. "Good morning
miss Katara-sama!" she chimed, hiding her mild sadness to avoid causing
confrontations. Since all that she truly wanted was a friend, a big sister, who
liked her for who she was not who her brother was.

Katara guess that these girls were the alpha's fan club. It explains why they

Katara flicked her tails to show she heard. "Say what you like, but I know who
you two are, I won't be that easy to force to cry." With that she ducked into
Arianna's den. She looked down as Arianna came over. Her emotion block broke
once again, but the only feeling that spread through Katara's body was
happiness, playfulness, and relaxation. She smiled playfully and dabbed a paw at
Arianna's curls. "How are you today, Arianna? I'm sorry about last night, I was
tired after my long journey here. Would you like to play a game?"

Stella relaxed calmly. It seemed Katara was fine. [She has a strong will. Must
come with living alone.] She got to her paws and walked out of the den. "Katara,
please watch Arianna a bit for me while I'm gone." Katara nodded her head and
with that, Stella left. She pounded silently and swiftly through the forest like
a ghost. She leapt into the air and confronted the ninetails twins. Her tenderly
and soft eyes were gone. They were angered. She glared at the twins and stepped
forward. "I have had enough of you two. What you did to Sera was terrible. We
are not gonn repeat that with Katara, or this time you will face my wrath and
you know what happens if I get mad." Stella's eyes darkened and she took another
step forward.
