There's trouble in paradise. After their adventures on The Black Pearl Will and Elizabeth have returned home to Port Royal. Governor Swann has shown the new couple exactly what he expects of a perspective suitor for his daughter. The last year has been an endless string of engagements; balls, parties, social functions and dinners with dignitaries. Will's work is suffering, and he is beginning to see the reality of being married to Elizabeth, and it wasn't what he expected! He's torn between not wanting to hurt Elizabeth and realizing he misses the life aboard the Pearl. Just as he is starting to plunge into depression an old friend appears and he realizes where his true passion lies. The seas and adventure await!
