Re: [RPG-Captains] RPG Captains Group [Re: Fwd: [ OT ] Peace Petition]

...As for idea's which get RPG's going, I find that ni my RPO (Tachyon-RPO) nothing gets more crew-members (even lurkers) interested than joint-sims.  I've had a few experiences in the past and have found them VERY beneficial to RPG's.  As for Recruitment, I've had a few ppl try to recruit me thru yahoo messenger, adn I didn't realise how irritating it was until it actually happened to me...one person messaged me 6 times within an hour, even after I'd replied saying thanks but no thanks.  Anyone got any better idea's for recruitment? I know recruitment has been down, but i thought that since Nemesis was released, ppl would become more interested in Trek RPG's...any info on this?
As for Mission idea's which get the crew interested...war is always a good option.  At Tachyon, we've recently brought the Borg back since events in 'End-Game' and the new and 'improved' Borg are proving to be very popular!  Anyone else got any suggestions or ideas?

Subject: [RPG-Captains] RPG Captains Group [Re: Fwd: [ OT ] Peace Petition]

Captains,
The purpose of this list is basically anything that an RPG captain
would need.  The hope is that if you have an issue and seek advice,
someone here in this list has already had the same issue, and might
have some advice.
Similarly, good news, points, ideas are welcomed.  The value of
this list were it to be very active is unimaginable!  What if you
always had some mission ideas that you know worked in other groups
(tweak them to your people, place, etc)?  Recruiting ideas?  This is
the aim of this YahooGroup.

I am sorry that I have been rather silent of late - Yahoo has the
wrong email for me, and I can't seem to change it (I get error
messages).  I tried contacting Yahoo to fix it, to no avail (or
reply).  I will endeavor to solve this problem.

I was under the impression it was for Captains to discuss problems etc etc. Is war a problem? Yes, I think so. Is it relevant to this list? No, I think not....
