Kilmarnocks, Quilted Shakos and British Uniforms circa 1866   Message List

Putting together 15mm Canadian/British for the Fenian Invasions of 1866. I am
using alot of Battle Lines' Maori range Imperial troops.

Are there suitable PP heads for 1860s "pillbox" hats? Also, would the WW1
Belgian Shako heads be fairly close to the quilted shako worn by British troops
in the 1860s?

Lastly, and this is a longshot, but are there any figures that could be used
proxy for the British uniform of the 1860s? Thanks!

HI Dixon miniatures 15mm Indian Mutiny range have some figures that would be suitable, including quilted shakos. Cheers Myron ... From: J B...
