PBI competition - 18 October   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #42880 of 43412 |
I'm arranging a small PBI competition at my house in Westbury, Wiltshire, for
Sunday 18 October. Three games, using a slightly modified version of the
October Club rules (each player brings a "matched pair" of companies).

I can accommodate up to five tables, so a maximum of ten players. Three of my
friends and I (all PBI novices) plus Peter Sides and a friend of his have signed
up so far; Lee thinks he may be working that weekend so he's doubtful (but I'll
make room for him somehow if he can come after all). So there's room for up to
four more players.

I can provide three suitable cloths and sets of scenery (desert, snow,
Normandy); two sets will need to be provided by others - preferably something a
bit different such as urban or steppe. The troops I have are 1941 8th Army and
DAK, 1944 Yanks and German infantry, 1942 Russians and Germans - these will all
be used by my friends and me. Other players are encouraged to bring slightly
different pairs if possible (yes, Peter, even the raw Italians!).

Anyone interested please email me.

Cheers

John GL
