Hi Martin
I have just been fitting them to Wings of War Series 1 planes tonight. Basically
the pilots fit the Fokker and Albatross perfectly, and will fit the Camel if I
can find my tweezers to get in under the top wing. The Spad cockpit is very
narrow and I could not get a pilot in without trimming.
Rear gunners are a problem in several ways. The Wow Series 2 planes (and I
assume Series 3) have very basic crew figs in them, which need to be removed.
Skytrex have no crew. I would think that I think you would need non generic
gunners, the Lewis as used by the Entente and the Parrabellum used by the
Germans are too distinctive – especially the former with it’s drum magazine.
I would probably suggest the gunner should be stood – you can always cut him
down if needed. Ideally you would also need a twin Lewis gunner.
I am messing about with teh Series 2 & 3 models in the next few days and will
have a better idea after that
Ken
Ps they painted up really well! I was a bit disappointed that you can’t see
the detail too well when they are in their planes

I can get on and make a rear gunner pack. However it Ok to do ageneric rear gun.
Should thegunner be seated or standing. (the man with the arm out as a bomb).
were the pilots ok in tems of cut and height. Do they need to be slimmer or
fatter?? Less torso or more...
Martin

I didn't realise he did 1:144th scale pilots - i'll have to get me
some of those at Vapnatak if they are there. As for rear gunners -
can't you guys just use the pilots? I guess the answer is probably not ;-)
Anyhow what is that first pilot on the sprue doing? Is he using a
catapult or is he waving a spanner?
