Subject: [NewU] Re: Judgement Day (Sarah, Kristina)
Kristina held up the thought that was about to spring from her mind. It was nasty and wouldn't improve the mood. Instead, realizing that either the woman was still under the effect of drugs or was rather strong, she chose to find another approach.
"Alright, see all those people around us? They've all seen what you've seen and they know that you shouldn't possibly be alive after such a fall. You may escape from me, but you won't escape the press, they'll be after you like hounds after a rabbit. You come with me and we'll find a way to explain everything to the press without making you a guinea pig... Sounds right?"
Although still on the ground, Kristina had her hands ready to do a 'batido' (*) if the woman either tried to flee or to attack.
She was also keeping an eye out to see if someone was coming to help her, hopefully the cabbie.
(tag GM, Jami)
(*) Half cartwheel with a strike. A quick attack that features the body in a more unusual position than say a typical kick and thus may better catch the other player off-guard.

[Sarah]
Sarah called out the name of a small time dealer she knew worked nearby and owed her a favor. Hoping he wasn't in the joint.
"I'll go nowhere with someone who plays demon tricks!" Sarah said, trying to back away. Wishing she had a gun. She cast her eyes about, looking for any debries she could use as a weapon.
[Narrarative]
Kristina shot a glance toward the deli, and noted that a row of faces looked back out at her... but nobody was making any moves to help. She couldn't be sure, but it looked like, behind the counter, someone was on the phone.
Sarah scrabbled in the gutter (surprisingly clean) and came up with a small piece of pavement, about the size of half a hockey puck. Drawing back, she hurled it at the other woman with all her strength.
The rock caught Kristina a heavy blow across one cheekbone, bringing tears to her eyes and ringing to her ears.... but she'd been hit harder in practice (rarely in the face, though).. She launched herself at the small blond, the batido apparently catching her flatfooted... Kristina's heel caught her just under the ribs, knocking her backwards. She staggered , gasping for breath, and sat down hard in her tracks. Holding onto her stomach, she stared with wide eyes at her attacker for a long moment before keeling over on her back.
((OOC: Luck of the dice, eh?))
[R--Kristina Sarah is currently stunned ]
