This group will be a PBEM based on the Marvel Comics New Universe project from the late 80's. My original tabletop game ran for three years and had 11 members. This game will concentrate on Role-playing and interactive storytelling, but game mechanics, where necessary, will be resolved using the MSH Classic system.
The New U was a unique comics universe in that up until the day of the White Event, The world was the "world outside your door". It was a look at what our own world would be like if there were real supers in it.
Our original group operated out of Columbus, Ohio, and had created a secure bunker in a set of sub-basements, caves and tunnels under OSU campus. The new game will be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (home of the New U flagship title, Star Brand), and will begin on the day of the White Event. All characters will start as normal people with no powers of any kind.
