Yeah i specifically said ww2 as air actions are important to me. At least
for ww2.
Those folk interested in pre ww2 may be interested to know that many WaS
fans are cobbling a variant called Dreadnaught Rising. A google of "axis
and allies" forumini should yield the relevant website. I expect
listmembers may be able to help with research.
Yes, the little planes are cool. Aircraft are in 1.900 scale to make them
visible against the 1.1800 ships. Seems a reasonable compromise.
If one is looking for open source rules David Childs has an interesting set
though i can't recall the name. Again, google should be isntructive. I
believe the first two pages are designer notes which is what i read first
anyway.
