LOL. Well, I have my two-bit opinion (Seekrieg V) but I think the short and safe
answer is no, there isn't a generally agreed upon best set of rules for WW2
naval miniatures. You have a lot of choices...depending upon emphasis.* Also,
it's worth mentioning that a lot of people want a set of rules that cover the
entire dreadnought period, say from about 1905 to 1945, rather than just WW2.
But it's all according to your interests and tastes. The important thing is to
enjoy the hobby.
*BTW, the little plane stands from A&A Naval miniatures are terrrific for use
with almost any naval miniatures scale/game during WW2...although some of us
like to stick mostly to surface combat.
