I have also created a 'Campaign Lite' system for creating interesting battles in
a short time with the tabletop incorporated. Take any pre-battle historical
situation where the armies are 2-4 miles apart, usually a day or two before the
battle, and in a half hour, even over the phone you can generate an interesting
battle with some context and some pre-battle maneuvering. It does incorporate
hidden movement.
