Comrades!

Just a quick update. Given that the book was launched at the end of
July, people may well be wondering where the book is (there was a
small number of books available at the launch, but they were advance
copies physically carried over in a suitcase).

If you pre-ordered and are based in North America, then your book
should have been mailed out by now.

Otherwise, on the whole, the answer is that the books are somewhere
in transit. Being a small publisher, with a small print run, I have
had to ship the books as part of a consignment load, shared with
other shippers and not in a designated (and trackable) separate
container. Most of the books are being shipped from the Atlantic to
the UK, where they must then clear customs (and sadly this is
apparently taking rather longer since the imposition of extra
security checks in the past few weeks). As soon as they come through
the shipping system, I'll be mailing out all the remaining pre-
orders out, but alas at this stage I still have no idea when that
will be.

At the same time, shops which have pre-ordered will get their
copies, as well as Esdevium distributors, so any other shops dealing
with them can also order Mythic Russia.

Sorry about this delay, but that is part of life as a small
publisher. It certainly is frustrating me. However, be reassured
that they are on the way -- and for those of you who have pre-
ordered, I think you'll find it worth the wait.
