You've washed up on the beach of a beautifully serene tropical island...or is it? When your guide fails to turn up you soon realize this is a one-way ticket. But don't hang around - you're being watched. You thought your troubles were over when you washed ashore? Oh no! With your broadsword lost at sea and an 8-foot spider (well, it might be a spider if it didn't have 14 legs) staring at you with a craving for your eyeballs as hors d'oeuvres, you've only just started.

Monster Island is the long-running play-by-mail (by email now) game where you roleplay, or take on the persona of a monster (seven races to choose from), interact with other player-run characters and advance in knowledge (both arcane and more mundane battle skills) -- and, most importantly, have fun!
