The Good vs the Multiple Evils

The X-men. The outlaw group of mutants who believe in the Dream.
Professor Charles Xavier, a mutant himself, believes in mutant and
human harmony, where mutants can walk along the streets and not be
beaten, made fun of, or abused. He gathered the legendary mutants
known today as the X-Men, to stand up for mutant rights, and to send
Xavier's message of homo sapien and homo superior unity to the
world.

But not all agree with this Dream. Magneto, once a friend to Xavier,
Magneto has brought together his own band of mutants, under his own
Dream. Mutant superiority. He believes that humanity must be
extinguished for the mutant race to survive. This criminal band of
mutants are known as the Brotherhood. Most don't care about either
Deram, some like to fight, but Magneto has rallied them under his
cause, as he believes that mutants are the evolution of mankind.

The X-Men are in trouble. Upon a traitor's return, the mansion is
attacked. Msytique, now the leader of her own band of mutants, has
kidnapped the Professor. The mansion grounds lay in ruin, and no one
has escaped unscathed. Ironically, Magneto chose the same time to
attack, so the X-Men were fighting a losing battle on two fronts.
Now, battered, and with their egos bruised, they must try and
recover and mount an effort to find the Professor.

But not all is as it seems. Why did Mystique leave the Brotherhood?
And why did both factions attack at the same time? Will the X-men
ever have peace?

And in the shadows, more events unfold to do our heroes harm. Can
the X-Men unite without their father figure, the great Xaiver? Will
their inner turmoil be their undoing? And what does fate have in
store for the traitor seeking redemption?


Lord of the Rings: Another Age -

Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape
and grows again.

Since the beginning of the Fourth Age, the free peoples of Middle
Earth have enjoyed a time of peace knowing that Sauron was
vanquished. Thirty years have passed since the Fourth Age began and
unknown to Gondor and the West armies are gathering for war against
the free people of Middle Earth.

The Haradrim and the Easterlings have taken new leaders since Sauron
was defeated. And biding their time, they have chosen now to strike.
And the first place they attacked was the town of Dale. The people
of Dale have taken refuge in Erebor with the dwarves and sent a
messenger, son of the King of Dale, to make his way through the
peril to get help.

Having made his way to Mirkwood to alert the elves there, the
messenger has now set out to bring the news to Gondor and Rohan.
Rumors have started to spread of the forces of the Haradrim and
Easterlings. Others have spoken of the Cosairs sailing toward
Eriador and someone has started a fortress in Mordor...

This evil is not Sauron of old for he is diminished into the very
shadows of the world. However, his teachings have not failed to
ensnare the hearts of others. And those who already have power and
all the more likely to become corrupt.

Will the free peoples of Middle Earth be able to unite against this
evil?
