Horror/Gothic RPG.

Set in modern times.

The girl appears in Ash's dreams, in reflections - any reflective surface,
really - and sometimes even in real life, although no one else seems to notice.
Sometimes they do, though.

Unable to purge her, Ash has had to turn to his own memories to figure out
who she is.

Christina Matheson was Ash's first kill, when he didn't go by the name
Ash, but rather as William Calder. He had just been turned, and she was a sloppy
kill.

Giving her time to espcape, although neither William nor Christina could
know it at the time. This was almost a hundred years ago, and know Christina has
found a way back.

Except that even she was not powerful enough to come back on her own. She
had to 'piggyback' on another power, one that has been partially drained because
she came along for the ride. It's power allows her to manifest herself, but not
as a corporeal being. She can be seen, but not even heard, although she doesn't
realize that no one can hear her.

She comes to William, unaware of his new identity, aware only of what he's
been turned into. And that the she's connected to the new power, and William,
and so the power will eventually go after him.

She wants to warn him... for a price.

To know why she died, and for his help in restoring her completely to the
world.

*** Other backstory notes - William and Christina were aware of each other
since they lived in the same English town when they were both alive, but didn't
know each other.

Also, Christina didn't come back as good or evil - she came back as she
was before. She doesn't know if the power has good intentions or not, but she
knows more about it than anyone on Earth does.

She was also in a purgtory - read nothingness - for the hundred years or
so it took her to get back.
