Yes, there is a real need for new 3x8x8 chess boards for sale, as
suppliers for new boards are very hard to find today.

So, if you do decide to build and sell chess 3x8x8 boards, then please
let us know about it here at Millennium_3D_Chess@yahoogroups.com

About playing an email game of Millenium 3D Chess*, I am always happy
