Hello, all!
I am not sure if anyone is listening to this list anymore, but, if you
are, greetings and salutations!
I have had a Chess^3 ("Chess Cubed") set since I was a kid, but I have
never played Millennium Chess. Are Chess^3 and Millennium Chess sized
the same? I just measured my Chess^3 set, and it appears to have 1"
squares and 2 1/8" kings. Does anyone know where I can get 2 1/8" king
sized replacement pieces? The shortest I have found are 2 1/2" kings.
Will these be too big to fit on the 1" squares? Let me know what your
experiences are.
Also, let me know if anyone is up for a play-by-email game of either
Chess^3 rules or Millennium Chess rules game (or both :)). I have a .pdf
scanned in copy of the rules for Chess^3, if anyone is interested. I
tried joining the Chess Club at my University (I am a returning math
grad student) but they are all too good; I lost every match decisively
and didn't learn much from any of the losses. I am hoping that since
Millennium Chess is such a novelty, I can get some opponents at my level
and can have some interesting games.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from someone soon.
Sincerely,
--
