Re: [Millennium_3D_Chess] 3D Chess Program For Windows/Linux/MacOSX

Hi William et al.,

Just to let you know that I have made some progress on
the game that I mailed the list about a few weeks
back. It's been a little slow as I have been out of
town.

I now have the PGN file reading working, so that I can
watch some of the matches posted on the Yahoo site.
There is still one bug to work out for this part.

I don't have the PGN file writing working just yet,
but that should be fairly easy since I now have the
structure of the valid game piece movements set up.

I have added some cameras to the game so that you can
see different views of the game boards just by
pressing the function keys. This means you don't have
to zoom/pan around the board with a single camera,
which ultimately means I can use higher poly (ie.
smoother looking) pieces without stressing the
computer.

You can see a couple more (grainy) screenshots here:

Sorry about the quality of the gif pictures, but I
don't want everyone to have to download 1M files ;)

I will keep you posted as to when I can release a beta
copy for testing.

Thanks,
K.Wilson
