I don't know. Let's find out.
Everybody say "ouch".

Hey man. There were lots of sunny, cheery parts of Spear. Can't
really say that about Blood Reign, but my depiction of the people of
Milandir was fairly upbeat in both modules.
I think I also managed to turn the priests of Canceri into
something more than mustache-twirling, faceless villains. They're
heroes, in their own way. Okay, okay, they're heroes in their own
MINDS, but still... There's happy, cheery optimistic...stuff.
Besides, it's always been my intention that no matter how dark
and gritty the setting or scenario, that the player characters at
least TRY to be heroic, even if they do so in a misguided or twisted
way. The one thing I hate are callow "heroes" (e.g. You know the
ones I mean. The first thing out of their mouth always seems to
be, "So how much do we get paid for this?")

I have no idea what the heck a meta-org is. Could someone
explain?
As far as the Followers of the Azure Way... Weren't they
spelunkers, or something like that? I picture this group as more
swashbuckler types rather than treasure hunters. Goals are more
idealistic than tangible. Anyway, I guess I should really talk to
Scott about that.
Also, there would be nothing secret about this society.

Character/ in play organization. Though if we could develop a
way for characters to communicate in-game over the internet in some
way that made sense and didn't make other people scream foul, that
would be cool. Everyone loves chatting IC as their character over
the internet. Though I imagine this might cause some problems,
considering almost every hero in Arcanis tends to experience the
same adventures every year. What will they talk about IC?
Player 1: Hey. The Sarishans attempted a coup in Nishanpur.
Player 2: Yeah. My friends and I managed to kill their leader,
Salusandra val'Mehan.
Player 1: That can't be. My friends and I ended up supporting
her as Dark Apostate. She's the new ruler.
And so on and so forth.
People here might be able to help me with this. I'm not
accustomed to how Living games work, so someone has probably
considered all this already and established a protocol for dealing
with it.
