Hiya folks,

Just dropping you all a line to let you know that I have resigned my
position as Downtime Ref for the foreseeable future. My main reson for
this is that at this point in time there is no need for the position
in any functional capacity. The DT rules I wrote had three functional
problems that where identified:

- Too Complex
- Currency Based not Resource Based
- No way to integrate with the craft rules

I have added to the files section here my first-draft ideas to solve
these problems, however leave it in the hands of the Ref team to
discuss and decide upon any future plans. I would still take the time
to debate here, and think we can make this list a valid forum for
future DT progress.

I will still be offering voluntary help to Mayfest in any way I can,
from site crew to plot ideas or anything beyond. If it helps the fest
and I can have a bit of fun at the same time (and my idea of dun
includes G.O.D. flipping over and belting me on the back of my head)
you can count me in. Who knows, I may end up back in this job in the
future, or maybe not!
