Each action may be chosen only once. My argument is, that is how the card
reads. "Choose any or all of the following... Choose any ONE... Choose any
ONE... Choose any ONE..." The most Resonate will cost you (barring external
cost increases) is 4 Energy.
Cards that allow you to pay "any amount extra" will use the "X" in their cost
and/or text.

Subject: Resonate Clarifications
Hey, all. For those that remember me, I was the guy trying to find
the loophole with Emaya and Osatch.
Well, this time I have a much more genuine rules question that I
need answered due to some disputes with other players.
The card in question is Resonate. I interpret it as the card itself
costs 1 energy to do nothing, then you can pay up to 3 additional
energy to use each of it's three actions once.
Other people interpret it as they pay 1 for the initial choice, then
can pay any amount extra for additional abilities.
My argument is that if you could use it's abilities as many times as
you wanted, why, then, would players ever have reason to run
Thunderquake, Ebylon, or Maelstrom again?
Their argument is that when they used it this way in tournaments,
their elder never told them it was wrong.
So what is it? Is each action of resonate a one shot, or is
Resonate some super Thunderquake/Maelstrom/Shatterwave hybrid?
