MWS is a wargaming club based in Sacramento, California. This Yahoo Group exists to support and promote the activities of MWS, and provide a forum for the members of MWS, and other interested parties to talk about gaming and socialize. The majority of members regard Monty Python and The Three Stoodges as pinnacles of comedy so puns, malaprops and low humor are prevalent. The first rule of MWS is "to act as if the other people you are having a conversation with are in the same room". Other than not allowing flame wars, verbal abuse or spam this is a wide open group. We moderate in moderation.


Members of the list may...

Upload photos of games and figures. Anybody who has pictures they wish to upload is free to do so. We reserve the right to delete them (in order to free up space) at the moderators discretion.

Discuss games that we have played, might be playing or would like to have at a meeting since this is what the club is all about. We have members interested in historical, fantasy, and science fiction games. We play miniatures games and boardgames.

Post messages that may be of interest to other members of the list. We only ask that you avoid personal attacks and foul language. Enthusiastic discussions prevail on this group, so some members may prefer to take the option of reading messages online, instead of receiving email.

Wargaming, especially historical wargaming, is a rare interest. We're always looking for potential opponents, so if our photos and conversation interest you, come join us at one of our meetings.
