Hi,
As most of you must know, Inge Jones has recently closed her site
Simlogical. She has graciously allowed the people that have her
downloads to share them freely! Therefore, I have created a new gruup
for people to share these files with the community! The url is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/simlogical_fileshare
Thanks,
Brad Riha

Hello...this is just a brief message to invite all those simmers out
there who still play and enjoy Sims1. I have started a modest little
yahoo group called Sims1 Poster/Art Emporium. I have a few themed
prints there, with more to come!

Please have a look...it would be appreciated...

There sort of is a hack to stop the "A+" routine at mod the sims 2.
It's called the "No cheering" hack. It doesn't completely stop them
from celebrating about the report card, but it reduces the cheering
and screaming to an arm pump. PLEASE NOTE that it is a beta version
hack and your game might crash if you use it. As far as I know they
don't have anything to stop the "I have to give mom or dad a hug"
thing...but you could always submit a request for it and somebody
might make one...

I think what is wrong is not the A+ cheering so much as it's too easy to get and keep the A+ grade.  It would be quite exciting if the player had to work the kid really hard to get it.

I'm not sure if Lost has Sims 2 and is thinking about making hacks
for it or whatever, however I have a request/suggestion. I am not
sure it is possible and maybe someone out there is already working on
it.

My roommate and I are slightly annoyed by the "A+" routine. My mom
never cheered when I brought home an A+ on regular homework...and I
certainly never ran in the house screaming that I had an A+ expecting
mom to clap. Then again, my roommate never got A+'s so he would have
never experienced this. LOL.

The other annoyance is the "daddy or mommy just got home from work so
I have to stop whatever I am doing and go hug them routine".

I am wondering if there are any patches/hacks/whatever in the works
to disable these behaviors.

Thanks,

For Sims1, you need a program called MilkShape. Although it's not free,
I believe there is a demo version available. Try a Google search for
it, you'll probably find some tutorials as well.

Because you need a several thousand dollar program called Maya to modify
S2 meshes. There are hacked objects available from various sites, but
they are standard S2 objects, no new shapes. Pet dragons are basically
impossible until there are other types of pets, even if you do own Maya.
Hackers can't create something without something fairly similar to
start from.

In addition, when S2 installs, it messes up some of the system
information needed to register and run Maya. The Maya people are not happy.

Yes, the sims body will change. A fit sim will get buff and I believe
even a fat sim would get buff if they got enough body points.
When you are playing a sim, look in their simology next to the star
sign is a fitness meter.
If your sim eats when they are not hungry and doesn't work out they
will get fat.
Sorry, I have no clue about gta san andreas.
