Hi Rich,

Are you looking for games in the Northern suburbs or just games or people on
this list who are still active gamers?

COR6-09 Beneath the Bright Sands (APL 2-12)
By Mike Hinds. Time has buried an ancient evil. Such things are typically left
alone to be lost to history.
For a millennia this was so. Now a visitor, snatched from the distant past,
wants this evil returned to help right a terrible wrong.
An adventure for characters of Average Party Levels 2 through 12.
(Part of the Blight on Bright Sands series)

NMR6-01 The Blighted Star (APL 6-16)
By Dan Taylor and Danny Stratton.
The Celadon Forest has its share of ruins and mysterious places, but none as
strange as the star-shaped castle ruins named the Blighted Star. The doom that
befell the original occupants is as unknown as the magic and treasures the
castle ruins may hold.
You have tracked the cause of the Blight to this location and you are certain
that they are in the ruins somewhere. Celadon folk give this mysterious place a
wide berth, but will you? The "shooting stars" that rain down around it from
time to time are the least of the hazards here.
(This scenario is part of the Blight series:
NMR5-01 Under the Boughs, NMR5-02 Natural Enemies,
NMR5-04 Charity of Friends, NMR5-06 The Forsaken Valley,
NMR5-07 Corruption of the Heart,
and NMR6-01 The Blighted Star.)

LA-SP4-01 Dark Harvest (APL 5-13)
Something evil is hunting the workers at a remote farming station belonging to
the Altherian Shining Patrol. Can you put a stop to this malevolence before it’s
too late?
This LIVING ARCANIS STANDARD adventure is designed for 4th to 14th level
characters (APL 5-13).
Characters not within this level range may not be played in this scenario.

LA-SP5-05 "To Spin an Ancient Web" (APL 2-17)
by James Zwiers
The depths of the swamps that surround the Kraldjur River are riddled with
ancient ruins, sunken into the swamp. Not all of these ruins are abandoned, and
not all ruins are desolate and pillaged. How far will you delve into the murky
depths of the Kraldjur Morass?
Notes: This adventure is a sequel to LA-AP4-01 Queen’s Castle, and while it is
recommended that you play this adventure after first playing Queen’s Castle, the
adventures do not have to be played in order. It is recommended, but not
absolutely necessary, that the party contain at least one character who is
skilled in the wilderness (such as a Ranger) and at least one character who is
skilled in dealing with traps and hazards (such as a Rogue). This adventure is
slightly longer than a typical one-round adventure but not nearly as long as a
typical two-round adventure; actual play time should be around five hours. The
adventure gives a slightly higher than normal XP and treasure distribution and
also costs 12 Time Units instead of the standard 10 Time Units.
This CRAWL adventure is designed for 1st-18th level characters (APLs 2 through
17).

It is essential to contact me via email to ensure a place at the games.
No guarantees if you just turn up on the day.
(Appologies for the late notice).

COR6-07 From the Dust
The dust has settled and a new Duke has placed his claim on Tenh. His lands are

faithful-squabble in their divided loyalties.

powerful forces struggle for control of the mines, but with whom will you side?
A one-round core special adventure set in the Bright Desert and the Abbor-Alz

now home to an annual Festival of Retribution. The heroes of the Battle of Semar
have been invited as guests of honor, but behind this facade of levity are found
the shadows of a gathering darkness. Altheria is gripped with worry over
economic sanctions and reductions in the size of the Shining Patrol. Who now
will hold back the scaled hordes of Ssethregore?

A very important message from our campaign co-ordinator!

Subject: [LA_talk] The future of LA and the RPGA

Hello Everyone,
Earlier today I received a cordial phone call from Ian Richards, the head of the
RPGA, in which he informed me that due solely to business reasons, Living
Arcanis would no longer be supported or be part of the RPGA. He also said that
the current stock of Living Arcanis adventures could continue to be downloaded
on the RPGA website until the end of February 2007.
So what does this mean to all of us?
In the short run it means that those who organize Cons and Game Days will need
to download the latest Living Arcanis adventures from
_www.livingarcanis.com_ (http://www.livingarcanis.com/) .
Those playing Living Arcanis adventures for RPGA points should reports those
games ASAP to garner said points.
And that should be about it.
As most of you know, last year Living Arcanis was not supported by the RPGA at
any of the major conventions, so this has been a while coming. As such, PCI has
been hard at work planning for just this eventuality. While I can't state the
details at the moment (the big announcement will be late Spring 2007)
I want to assure you that what will be unveiled then and premiering Origins 2007
is really exciting, not just for Living Arcanis and PCI but for the Industry as
a whole.
So don't worry: bottom line is that you will still be able to get your Living
Arcanis adventures as always for either Convention or Game Day venues.
Living Arcanis is not going away because of this. In fact, not being a part of
the RPGA opens up a few options that were restricted to us before. Exactly what
those are and when they will be implemented is something I am hesitant to say at
the moment - but I am excited about the possibilities.
I also want to be clear that there is no animosity between PCI and the RPGA.
We had a good run with the RPGA and would not be as large or successful a
campaign without it. But life is change and most of the time change, while a
little scary in the beginning, is ultimately a good thing.
The future is very bright for Living Arcanis in particular and organized
role-playing in general. I really wish I could tell you what we have in the
works, but we made an agreement with our partners not to make an announcement
until a certain time and I have to honor it.
But man, it is going to be REALLY cool!!!!
If you have any questions, feel free to post on this list or email me
personally at _PCIHenry@..._ (mailto:PCIHenry@...) .
I will do my best to answer your questions frankly and as quickly as possible.
Pax Arcanis!
Best,
Henry Lopez
President

How does this sound for a plan.

If you are able to find anyone else interested that would be great.

Locations for the Tuesday games are up in the air, but Tracey (wife) wants the
Saturday to be in Sunbury as I will be away on the Saturday and se wants to
see me on weekend so you whill get a brief break from Gracey.

Hi all

I though this may be of interest to people

It appears that if you GM any part of RHoD then you can not play the later
parts.

Cheers
Dean

PS
Dean R, If you GM for us on the 31st, then you wont be able to play parts 3-5.

Hi Dea. It turns out I'll be in Melbourne on the 30th, so if there's
still space I'd be happy to play this. And Red Hand of Doom the next
day, if there's any space.

Cheers

I'm interested in both of them, especially Beneath Bright Sands. I'm
definitely available Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as all day
