Sunday November 30th

--------------------

9:30am EAST1-1 These Hallowed Halls

The Crafty Kobold Salvage Company has fearlessly plumbed forgotten treasures
from the depths of the earth for

many years. Now the owner’s son and his expedition have gone missing and he
needs adventurers of uncommon

mettle to brave the dangers of the Underdark, find the lost explorers, and
perhaps even unlock the ancient secrets of

Lodestone Deep. A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in the East Rift for
characters levels 1-4.

1:30pm DALE1-1 The Prospect

The Fall of Stars is the most famous adventurers’ club in Faerûn. Who can

simple. A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in the Dalelands for
characters levels 1-4.

Hi everybody,

I thought I'd see who's interested in playing the year 5 hardpoints, in case
we can put some tables together at DWARF. The venue's Carwatha College in
Noble Park, basically just off the Monash, and it would run on a Sunday,
usually in the afternoon. Contact me and/or Derek off-list to express
interest. Useful info would be what you want to play, preferred character
(class/level) and APL, and your general availability. If you've already got
a table and just need a DM, better still.

Living games normally run every other Sunday at DWARF, so the earliest we'd
be looking at running would be Cup weekend.

HP 5-01 (Shattering the Light) has already run at DWARF, but we can do it
again if there's demand.

We haven't run the other three, although most of the regulars played them at
Gencon:

* HP 5-02 (To Peel the Veil of Lightness and Dark)
* HP 5-03 (The Hero of Glau Merrow)
* HP 5-04 (Suffer Not a Traitor to Live)

======
RTK7-06 Horror in the Timberway (APLs 4-12)
By Greg Jones and Frank Mikes
Something horrible is happening in the Timberway and while some of this evil has
been discovered, more must be uncovered.
Unspeakable crimes, hideous happenings and unnatural foulness that chills the
blood of even the most hardened adventurer - all this must be revealed before
the healing of the Timberway can begin.
A one-round Regional adventure set in Ratik for characters level 3-15 (APLs
4-12).

   LA-SP5-08 Xenophobia (APLs 11-19)
by M. Sean Molley
After the Battle of Enpebyn, not all of the dwarves from Solanos Mor marched
back to their Enclave. A substantial number of dwarves turned south instead,
marching through the Coryani Empire, their purpose and destination unknown. Now
their true mission is revealed, as adventurers and explorers have been called to
the very edge of the Fellglade for an expedition into Malfea itself. Will you
join the first group of non-Elorii in a thousand years to deliberately violate
the borders of what may very well be the most violent and xenophobic nation on
the face of Onara?
NOTE: This adventure occurs at the same (in-game) time as LA-SP5-09 Emissaries.
Therefore, players should not play the same character in both adventures. The
order in which the two adventures are played does not matter. This adventure
draws on material that was first presented in LA-SP4-01 Queen’s Castle. Play of
the prior adventure is helpful, but not required.
This STANDARD adventure is designed for 10th to 20th level characters (APLs
11-19).

Dont forget to book a place!

adventure set in Rel Astra and the Olman Islands for characters levels 8-15
(APLs 10-16).

   LA-SP5-09 "Emissaries" (APLs 2-9)
by M. Sean Molley
At the Emperor's Wedding, a deal was struck between the Republic of Altheria and
the Elorii nation of Seremas. In exchange for a substantial supply of blast
powder, the Seremasi agreed to provide reinforcements for the Shining Patrol.
With the recent Malfelen incursions into Altherian territory, the Republic's
borders are hard-pressed. Every attempt by the Shining Patrol to make peaceful
contact with the Malfelen has failed utterly. Seremas and Malfea have long had a
cordial (if not warm) relationship, so an Elorii emissary has been sent from
Seremas to carry a message to his brothers. You are asked to serve as escorts on
this vital mission.
NOTE: This adventure occurs at the same (in-game) time as LA-SP5-08
Xenophobia. Therefore, players should not play the same character in both
adventures. The order in which the two adventures are played does not matter.
This adventure draws on material that was first presented in LA-SP4-01 Queen’s
Castle. Play of the prior adventure is helpful, but not required.
This STANDARD adventure is designed for 1st to 10th level characters (APLs
2-9).

Dont forget to book a place!

   COR6-13 Tears for Bright Sands
According to legend, Sulm defeated ancient Itar, using dark magic to slay its
patron deity and to collapse its capital into the sea. Two thousand years later
a relic of those cataclysmic events may be critical to the future of the Bright
Lands, but seeking it will require a journey beneath the waves.

The penultimate part of Blight on Bright Sands.

COR6-17 Something of Value
All adventurers dream of finding that one thing that will make them wealthy

are you going to do?
A one-round Core adventure set in the Free City of Greyhawk for characters level
10-15 (APLs 10-16).

COR6-14 Cloud of Darkness
A dark cloud hangs motionless above an ancient sacred site buried deep in the
Bright Lands. An ancient power is awaking in the Bright Lands but its true
purpose remains occluded.
The concluding part of 'Sins of Ages Past'.
A core adventure set in the Empire of the Bright Lands for characters level 8-15
(APLs 10-16).

NMR7-02 The Wake of the Tempest
by James Dempsey
The good ship Kalandra lies wrecked, victim to the furious storm that cast it
onto rocky cliffs, its cargo looted and its secrets revealed. But is that truly
the case? What more is to be found in the shattered belly of the sunken ship?
Visionary messages would have it that mysteries are yet to be found.
A one-round Nyrond and Environs meta-regional adventure set in Ratik for
characters level 1-13 (APLs 2-10).
Part 2 of Terrors of the Deep. (Not for those who hear ‘run away’ in the sea’s
song.).

Hi Rich,

There are a couple of us around. I'm also in the Northern suburbs, so not
far off from you. I'd be happy to play/GM with/for you if there a couple
more people around.

Ashley

Hi Rich,

I am looking at maybe running some semi-regular games at York and Daniels
place in Footscray. I will keep you in Mind if/when these come up.

I already run LG and LA every second Sunday at DWARF in Noble Park - but that
is a long way from Brunswick.

The Conquest convention is on in two weekends time at Melbourne High.
It starts on Good Friday and ends Easter Monday. There will be about 7 LG
games on offer and 5 LA. Also an Eberron, some Xendrik and the Living Death
finale. (Melbourne High is in South Yarra between Chapel St, Toorak Road and
Alexandra Ave).

I suggest you check out the convention website http://www.conquest.asn.au/ and
think about signing up via the online AON database (you will need to follow the
instructions and create an AON account to do this).

I will be at Conquest running LA all weekend (and perhaps helping with other
games if I have time).

   Cheers,

   Derek

Definately games within 10ish km's of brunswick. And if I remember right my only
charachter is floating around APL5.
