Regions as assigned will be announced at DDXP next year (Feb 28th -
Mar 2nd)

As to the rest I would guess you will find out about that around
June/July of next year (since it's based on 4th edition rules and the
books do not come out till then).

So you have a long wait.

Indeed it does, however not when you get a cold the
start of the week before you go on holiday...

By the way can we pool what we've heard here regarding
character generation whether it be the new way
attribute bonuses are figured out or the classes
available by the time Faerun 4e is released or do we
restrict this to where living faerun is going to start

IMHO...we won't get any ideas on character creation
until the Living FR Char Creation guidelines come out.
When that will be I'm not sure, but with the start of
the campaign at GenCon next year, I'm GUESSING it will
be shortly before then.

What we know is this...

1) The LFR staff has been chosen, and playtesting of
4e has begun.
2) The in-game regions will be matched with the real
world regions at DDXP in March.
3) There will be a "4e demo" at DDXP.
4) The core books come out at the start of next
summer.
5) Living Greyhawk ends at Origins 2008
6) The Living FR campaign starts with modules at
GenCon 2008.
7) The FR campaign setting book is supposedly
scheduled to come out in August 2008. Whether before
or after GenCon I don't know.

I believe that is where we're at right now, although
any staff members on the list...if I've forgotten
anything, please fill in the gaps.

like LG did at WF with it's preview. I expect the charcters will be

That is what they did with LG at WF 2000. You got to sit down for a
short 'intro' ... you got to go over the stats, how they worked and
then select an iconic character. You then ran through one encounter

blocks. We are lining up as many DM's as we can for the overwhelming
demand for them we are expecting.

The D&D Delve is also 4th edition and runs in 30 minute blocks.

At this time I have heard of no plans to release these events after
DDXP. Now that is not to say there is not a plan and Dave just does
not know about it (my wife will attest to how much I don't know).
