To add a bit (because I've seen people take this path even when they
didn't need to):

DALE02 is DALE03 plus membership in the group in question. You have
to `prove your worth' to be invited, but sometimes even then people
choose not to join for roleplaying reasons.

If you don't have a strong enough reason to remember, the intent seems
to be that DALE02 is DALE03 plus some future benefits to be named later.
