Labyrinth Lord PBEM: The White Marches Campaign

A world of Monsters, and of Magic. Of Swords... and Sorcery...

Holmgard is a small city & associated castle on the coast overlooking a bay to the east, with the rugged lands of the White Marches to the north-west (including Castle Ulric), leading north into the Lands of the Tribes, and a line of mountains to the west, including Fire Mountain and its dread caverns of the Moaning Deep, rumoured home to the dread beast Bael the Ravager. Marshes to the south, the Fens of the Faithless, isolate the realm from the wider world. Beyond the northern forests lies the bleak Crandar Moors, the Skarite Shore, and the unknown lands beyond.

West of the White Marches are high mountains, and, according to legend, the realm of the High King of Man. South, beyond marshes and wastelands, lies the desert realm of Kalara, long under the sway of the evil priests of Baphomet.

Age rating: between PG-13 and 15.

Game inspirations include classic '80s fantasy and swords & sorcery movies - Krull, Hawk the Slayer, et al. Game emphasises cool PCs and roleplaying.
