Any bard-sorcerers or bard-warmages out there?   Message List

I recently created a bard-warmage for the Ruins of Greyhawk series.  It seems like a relatively good idea--they are both charisma-based casters and each class makes up for the shortcomings of the other:  warmage adds offensive spells, bard adds utility spells and more skill ranks, etc.  This ends up being a warmage who has lots of ranks in tumble and can cast cure light wounds and a bard who can cast orbs and magic missile.

I was wondering:  has anyone tried anything similar?  Does anyone have a bard-warmage or a bard-sorcerer?  Any tips or tricks about how to make this a successful build?  Any cool prestige classes?

It occurs to me that this is a character build that makes more sense at low levels than at high levels.  A third level character who can cast both cure light wounds and orbs is pretty cool, but an eighth level character who can't cast anything better than a second level spell isn't.  That's fine with me--I doubt that this character will get much past 6th level even if I play the entire Ruins series.
