on his heel back to face Dean and Alandra.
"Sorry?" Alandra asked "What do you mean?"
"Well...you wanna fly it's me you need to be talking to, not brains here."
"Sorry..I..I thought..."
Jay interrupted her, he was still cranky from Salter's faux pas (par?)
"Daddy being a pilot, don't exactly qualify YOU as a pilot" he snapped
"Hell...my Dad does a lot of stuff I could never..." A horrible image of
Jay's parent's popped into his head spontaneously, making Jay visibly
shudder "or WOULD never repeat..."
"But I really can..."
"Still...the mere fact that you can tie you're show laces makes you more
qualified than Efof, and the fact that you clearly know that Starbug's are
supposed to FLY as opposed to plummet instantly makes you a better pilot
than Mr. Thomas here...No offence Dean.."
"None taken..."
"So although I don't like to let anyone not on my staff fly the shuttles,
considering that Keat's has quit, Ambers not been heard from since Tara was
airlifted out of New Wales and Marwood's on a mission for the Captain, I
think we could use an extra pair of hands...if you can prove you've got a
license that is."

Alandra came running from the hall. She grabbed Dean by the shoulder
spooking him.

Dean nearley jumped. "Yes?" Dean asked. "You gotta let me go, let me
fly a Starbug please!" Alandra nearley begged

Dean sorta frowned "Can you fly?" Dean asked. "Yes I can, My father
was a pilot please let me go" Alandra said getting alittle more
impatient.
