"Of course Amber. We were just looking for another pilot." Jay said.

"Can I take Vespidae Sir? If not then I can co-pilot the Raven." She
said formally, trying to make a good impression on her first day as
Lt. She looked over at jack and nodded to her Uncle. 'Looks like it's
going to be a happy family trip.' She thought turning her head the
other way to glare at her father. The tune her mother used to sing to
her came into her mind and tears came to her eyes, she hoped Tara was
ok.

"I think we could use another ship, particualry one as manouvereable as the
Vespidae" said Jay "Raven's bulky, I think we could do with an escort ship
in case we get shot at..and don't call me Sir, you're my god-daughter for
smeg's sake!"
"What's a god-daughter" asked Phil "Who's she...who are you...who..am I..."
"You sure you want him along?" Amber asked, giving her father a hateful
look.
"Hmm.., If I tell him he can't come, he'll forget I told him stay behind, if
not he'll to leave the shuttle bay when we depressurise and
suffocate....besides he outranks me..."
"Not since Keto relieved him of duty..."
"True, though to be honest we could use him..."
Amber raised an eyebrow than went over the the Vespidae and climbed in. Eric
tossed two handguns over to Jay,which he holstered, one on each hip, then
slung a rifle over his shoulder and turned to board the Raven.
"WAIT!!" WAIT FOR ME!!" Came a voice entering the hangar bay.
"Vanessa?" Jay said, wheeling round to see his sister running toward the
large spacecraft, she tripped as she did so, sending medical equipment
scattering across the flightdeck. Chris helped her up, while Jay gathered up
her tools. "What are you dong down here sis?" Jay asked. "This is gonna be a
dangerous mission"
"All the more reason for a medic!" she replied, "Chris asked Keto to send
someone, he seemed pleased to send me on a mission.."
"Fair enough" Jay said, as Lustbader passed her a weapon, "Just don't get
yourself killed again ok.."
The last few crew members boarded the Raven, and Jay headed for the cockpit
and started the preflight checks.
"Ok Amber, You ready to rock?"
"Does Mini-Phil shit in the Doc's boots?"
"That a yes?"
"Yeah.."
"Disgusting....but funny! Let's burn outta here!"

The engines of the two craft blazed into life, and they headed downward to
the planet.
