Franz (and everyone),

I chatted with Michael earlier, and there are a few points I'd like to bring
up:

First, your report did not mention that you and Michael agreed to give the
CP 2 VPs at the end of Turn 20 scoring if it went that long. Any time you
play with rules other than the default rules, please mention it in the game
report.

Also, according to Michael, you came to this 2 VP adjustment by bidding.
Excuse the capital letters, but THERE IS NO BIDDING FOR SIDES ALLOWED IN
THESE LEAGUES!!!! You may mutually agree to give the CP 2 VPs at the end,
but it must be before you select sides randomly. Bidding may not influence
who gets what side.

Now, as it turns out, since you both wanted the same bid, you selected sides
randomly anyway, so there is no harm, and everything is OK. Let me repeat
that you must ALWAYS determine sides randomly!
