Turn 1 Carthage started pressure with Messenger and Macedonians. However
Hannibal didn't get very far, only to Cisalpine tribes. Habsurbal got to Sicily.
Rome was still hanging on a couple of PCs in Spain.
Turn 2 Habsurbal tried to escape from Sicily, before Marcellus could get him.
Navy failed him and Macellus beated him in the following battle. Syracuse allied
Carthage.
Turn 3 Marcellus saw weak Gisgo's force in Spain and since Rome was still
holding PC's in Spain tried to knock Gisgo out. Marcellus won the battle but
failed to do more damage than received. Habsurbal came conquered Idubeda back
(it had been Roman for a short while).
Turn 4 Habsurbal beated Marcellus in Spain. Marcellus sailed back to Sicily to
siege Syracusa. Truce ended hostilities for a while.
Turn 5 There were combats in northern Italy. Rome suffered heavy losses.
Turn 6 Rome got Syracusa's siege to an end. Scipio A scared Hannibal a bit back,
but no battle occured.
Turn 7 Mago went to Sardinia. Carthage got a major campaign from me (Messenger),
but I still opted to test African defense. Marcellus sailed to Western Numidia
and won Hanno in following battle after Numidians had deserted. Scipio A
followed with 5CUs to the area. Carthage got control of western Numidia with
diplomacy.
Turn 8 Rome got western Numidia after Gisgoäs disturbancy via diplomacy. Eastern
Numidia then joined with Numidian Ally. Fabius was removed from command of
northern Italy (Proconsul Dismissed). Hannibal started to be aggressive against
Longus there. Rome advanced to Zama, Carthage beated Romans in northern Italy to
8CUs
Turn 9 Carthage again intercepted Roman messenger, but Scipio A was able to
siege the Carthage aided by Marcellus.
