IGDA-Austin is Taking Your Submissions for 2010 Content

So... Every once in a while, you hear somebody from outside of Austin talk about Austin's game developers as B-grade amateurs.  The elephant in the room is out.  They say that if you want to make some real games, you go to where the big boys play like Seattle, San Francisco, or Montreal.  So what do we do?  Do we give up?  Do we accept?

NO!  We fight, we disprove, we rectify the situation.  We band together and share lectures, roundtables, and panel discussions that make us all better at what we do as game developers in the Austin area.  We discuss the state of the industry in Austin and leave these discussions with some personal takeaways that enhance our collective mindshare!

We are taking submissions from people like YOU to participate in roundtables, panel discussions, and personal lectures on topics ranging from game design, programming, art, business, and quality assurance.  If you are interested, then send an email to "kaininshin@..." with a blurb about what you want to be a part of and how you can make this happen.  Your email will be stored and compared with other emails wanting to talk about their own things.  From inside that folder, the emails will fight an epic battle and only the best of the best among those emails will end up being considered for IGDA-Austin's 2010 event repertoire.  Do this... and Austin wins!  P.S. - Punch and pie.

What event(s) is this for? - You decide!
What to do? - e-mail "kainshin@..."
What to provide? - Blurb about what you want to do and how to make it happen
When to do this by? - Deadline is indefinite.  All submissions from our community will be considered at any time.
