The spirits of the ages past have gathered once again to celebrate
the House of Paupers' long standing tradition. Beginning in the late
eve of Day of the Huntress, the 17th of Jastatos, the ghosts of old
will return to reclaim Paupers' for their own and will not release
their claim until Restday, the 19th of Jastatos. (Fri-Sun, October
17th-19th.)

During this time the House itself will transform into a ghastly
version of the past and members' lockers will NOT be accessible. The
Officers of Paupers remind everyone to plan ahead and make sure any
items they will need during those days are removed in advance because
once the dead rise, there is no turning back.

Along with the Haunted House, Paupers will be holding three events as
well!

Haunted House: The Knights of Paupers - A ghost from the past will
visit all who wish to hear the forgotten tale of the ancient Knights
of Paupers, how they were formed and how over time their creation was
forgotten, until now. The storytelling will begin on Feastday, the
18th of Jastatos, at 7pm Elven in the tent on Paupers' Grounds (Sat,
Oct 18th, 7pm Eastern.)

Haunted House: Masquerade Ball - Ghosts and goblins are making their
way through Wehnimer's Landing, scaring, and dancing their way into
every dark alley! To celebrate their coming, come join Paupers'
Masquerade Ball in the tent on Paupers' Grounds! Come outfitted in
your best costumes as prizes will be awarded for "Scariest
Costume", "Most Outrageous Costume", "Best Couple", and "Cutest
Costume." They'll be dancing, mingling, ghoulish food and drinks,
and games for all! The Ball begins at 9:30pm elven, on Feastday, the
18th of Jastatos. (Sat, Oct 18th, 9:30pm Eastern)

Haunted House: An Eve of Weave - Last year you heard the tale of the
Origins of Paupers, and now you will have heard the history of the
Knights of Paupers. So now it's your turn! Join House of Paupers as
they host a Storytelling Contest and give you, the members and guests
the chance to weave your own scary tale and walk away with prizes and
a frightened audience! The contest will be held inside the tent on
Paupers' Grounds on Restday, the 19th of Jastatos, at 6pm Elven.
(Sun, Oct 19th, 6pm Eastern.)

Prizes and silvers will be awarded during all contests, and food and
drinks will be made available every day of Haunted House! We invite
everyone to attend the events and visit the Paupers' Haunted House
and hope that you come out alive as a special souvenir awaits you if
you do!
