House of Paupers Contest: Ornament Design 2008

Each year the Cooperative Houses of Elanthia hold a Winter Solstice
Celebration. It is tradition that a small tree be erected in the
Garden Niche in Wehnimer's Landing near the Feast of Immortals and
that one ornament from each organization be hung by House
representatives for all to see.

In accordance with our own tradition, we again offer up a contest for
members to submit their own ideas for this year's ornament to
represent House of Paupers!

The rules and details of the contest are as follows:


1. Only members of Paupers may submit ideas. You may submit
multiple ideas, but only one can win.

2. Design must have a 15/15/15 base description and can either
have a LONG description or a SHOW description. Long descriptions need
to be kept around 15 words or less and show descriptions must be
under 500 characters, including spaces. It is okay to use rare
materials.

3. The deadline for the contest is 11:59pm Eastern, Friday,
October 17th, 2008.

4. All submissions must be emailed to Plur@... with the
subject title being, "Paupers Ornament - [Your Character Name]"

5. Once all designs are collected, the Paupers Officers will
review the ornaments and select up to 9 semi-finalists. Those
designs will then be presented in a House vote, and the winners will
be determined by our members!

6. The House vote will be an open vote and last two weeks after
the initial deadline. Explicit instructions for in-game voting will
be provided at that time.

7. 1st Place winner will receive 3 million silvers and his or
her ornament will be submitted for Paupers in the Winter Solstice
Celebration. 2nd Place will receive 2 million silvers, and 3rd place
will receive 1 million silvers!

8. As an added bonus, all ornaments submitted by Great Houses
will enter an additional contest, judged by GameMasters. If the House
of Paupers ornament wins for 2008, the designer of the ornament will
receive a custom alteration and a custom food or drink item added to
the Paupers house forever!

9. Paupers' Officers reserve the right to slightly alter any
ornament submission to fit the guidelines set forth by the Officers
and/or GameMasters.
