Hey guys, some good news.

We've rehired the person in my office who was laid off, so now that things are
settling down in the office, I should be in a position to be able to post, as my
workload will not be quite so insane.

I apologize for my period of absence, and thank you guys for hanging in there
and taking up the slack.

It will probably take me a week or two to settle back into a groove, as I get
caught up and get things rolling.

Before I get started, are there any areas that require my immediate attention? I
would like to address those first.

Beyond that, I will probably concentrate on getting my Dark Heresy and Eldar
games up and running, and ease back into the games in which I am a player.

Once that is done, I will look at the time I have available and talk to the
other board members and administrators about doing some basic maintenance and
recruiting for the groups.

Thanks again, as always, for keeping everything running so smoothly in my
absence.

Hey guys,

Please continue to bear with me!

We have had another layoff in our office, which is going to force me to absorb
even more work and stretch me to the breaking point.

I am not abandoning any of the games, but please bear with me until I can get
things under control.

I will make running my games my top priority, and may have to become innactive
in some of the other games. I may also think about shutting down some of our
less active games unless we can find GMs, and will probably not be available to
work on any new projects in the near future.

Anyway, thanks for your patience...

I am going to wait another week before posting again giving all of those with RL
responsibilities a little more time.

OOC - Out of Town

Hey guys,

I had intended to move into the next scene this week. However, I have simply
been waylaid by jackassery this week - I had to work two trade shows, had the
starter in my car go out, had a sick child and had to take a day off of work and
had a visit from out-of-town upper management to contend with, along with my
regular workload and preparing to go on vacation.

Anyway, it is now Friday, and I will not be back in the office until Monday,
September 30.

Therefore, rather than trying to start up the next critical story sequences for
any of my games, I will just put it on hold until I get back. Feel free to
roleplay during that period.

I just wanted all the GM's to know that starting September I wont be on for that

currently I am struggling with an illness. I may not lable my posts correctly

I have to apologize for my absence too. I completely forgot to join this group
since we moved from our last one. I didn't know why my posts weren't showing up

I know I am pushing 2 weeks in some of my games, but my wife is going out of

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give everyone a head's up.

We are pretty much at the final point in the Eldar plot where I can easily
insert a character.

The characters will soon embark on a journey that will prevent any new
characters from joining in the near future.

Well the first 2 story lines that I will hold on the Dark Angels page will lead
the protagonists to the planet Tarsus (call it the Tarsus campaign) chasing a
particular fallen space marine in an attempt to capture him before he can hook
up with heavy reinforcements. The Tarsus campaign itself will be introduced with
an Imperial Guard thread and the Imperial Navy thread will bring in the Dark
Angels (chasing a certain someone who may not be named) and a small
inquisitorial force (Ordos non-specific).

During the caimpaign one of these 4 forces will reveal themselves to be working
against the other three (though this will not make them evil, just
antagonistic). This will come at the worst possible moment, of course, as a more
melevolent force will be passing through the sector (bypassing all other
planetary campaigns) with the intention of using Tarsus as a spring board into
the current chaos mass incursion in neighbouring sectors.

All players will be permited to have characters in all 4 threads, however (with
the exception of the Dark Angels characters involved in the first two threads)
all characters will be considered "low rank" and will have the minimum in gear
and stats (which will go up as each character earns advancements and experiences
combat). Essentially the experiences your charaters have will shape their
advancement.

The exception is the Imperial Navy, each character will command a ship (frigate
or Destroyer size) of thier choosing. As they prove themselves they will either
gain command of more ships, or a larger ship.

It should be noted that characters can be killed, so if your an Imperial
Guardsmen, don't go charging into melee combat with a group of chaos marines.
Under most circumstances, you will have to act as a team and come up with
creative and interesting ways of defeating your opponents (even the marines).
