I can’t even remember what I put down to join the group…
I suppose it was sufficient. Probably something about adding new classes and homebrew
stuff. I’m still trying without much success to add the shadow creature monster
class a la savage species and dungeon 322. I had some help early on but I’m
struggling again. Anyone know much about these templates with level advancement
and CR adjustment?

I
tried something like that for a bit, but at one point we were growing quickly
and my personal life was pretty hectic, so we changed to the current process. A
couple of spammers have managed to get through, but since I was denying up to
10 a day, that's not bad.
When there's a questionable request (like "it helps my gaming"), I
usually contact the requester for clarification.

The Hall of Heroes for Mutants
and Masterminds character sheet group that I am a moderator for, all first
mailings must be approved and the moderator can then go in and change the
membership to allow that person to post without moderation in the
future. If it is a Spam there is a delete as spam button to dispose of
the unwanted mailings. You can then delete the account, or set it so
the member can no longer post to the group. I primarily use the cannot
post button to avoid the spammer from resigning up and dumping another spam on
the moderators. |
