The Hero Wars Program automates the Hero Wars role playing game system (RPG) published by Issaries Inc.. The aim of this project is to allow a Narrator/Game Master and multiple players to play across the internet in as close a simulation as possible of the traditional pen, paper and dice based RPG (apart from the junk-food). It is not an aim of this project to build a system that does not require a narrator (i.e. this is not a MUD).

The program is written in Java and requires the successful installation on your computer of a Java Runtime Environment (JRE), version 1.3 or above, about 5Mb from Sun (or some other provider) before the program can run.

The software and source code is distributed under the GNU General Public License

This is a fan produced effort, not an official Issaries Inc. product. Do not contact anyone at Issaries, Inc. to complain about it as you will be wasting both your time and their's. This program is in development and is not fit for any purpose, least of all being trusted to run a Hero Wars game. Please read the HeroWarsProgram*.html documents in the files area of this group for the latest information.
