Re: Scouts and Chess: Contact Mike Laverty   Message List

The Scouts will have their chess event April 20th at Smithfield elementary,
close to Shawnee.

I expect some of the kids will not know how to play some will.

For those who know how to play I am looking to set up a mini tournament. If
there are enough sets maybe a simul.

For those learning I've print outs of classic mating nets, Demo board.

I'd like some extra bodies to watch the games answering any questions, help
familiarize the kids with chess clocks. There a 30 to 40 kids any
constructive help would be appreciated
