The next Hackettstown Chess Club event is the Fall Quads.
The quads begin on Monday. The Tournament lasts exactly 3 weeks.
Entry Fee is $6. Bring it to the event between 7:00pm and 7:30pm on
Monday.

Background information:
The Quads are small tournaments, for groups of four players:
3 games, round robin. We set-up the groups of 4 by USCF rating.
This is an excellent chance to play opponents of a similar rating.

Each player is scheduled to play one game per week.
You will play each of the three other participants in your quad
exactly once;
one game per week on the first three Mondays in December:
Dec. 6th, Dec. 13th, and Dec. 20th.

An odd number of participants can result in an additional Swiss
System paired section, but it's still exactly three games as above.

Again: the entry Fee is $6 per person for the event.
A trophy or chess book prize goes to first each quad.

All games (except makeup games) are scheduled to be played
on Monday Night beginning at 7:30pm at our standard location:
Hackettstown Community Center, 293 Main St., Hackettstown, NJ.

The first time control is 40 moves in 90 minutes.
Subsequent time controls if needed are 30 moves in 60 minutes.
Clocks start at 7:30pm; then either player in a game-in-progress
is allowed to demand an adjournment after 11pm if needed.
