Nikki stared at Articia, forced a smile and replied coldly, "Hello."
her neck was arched as she moved past Articia, trying to ignore her
she sat down on a chair. There was silence as the two tried to be nice
with one another but there was only an icily silence.

Diamond stood staring at her opponent, *this is terrible* she thought,
*its like he's not even trying* she bounded to the left of an attack
from the enemy's dragon and summoned Guarda forward to block and send
might flares forward knocking the enemy dragon to the ground, "It was
a....err good match." she said as she bowed to the loser.
"No it wasn't." he muttered angrily, "I was too weak."
"Nah i was just on form today thats all." Diamond extended her hand
and he shook it grudingly. Wandering away from the stadium Diamond
caught the glimpse of Glacialis's human form waving to her, "Hey!" she
hugged the dragon-lady, she regarded a mother, "That was easy."
"Yes I know...i do believe u have another challenger to defeat before
you may try and defeat Fayth Argon."
"Fayth Argon?"
"She is the most powerful of dragon sorcerers has been the champion
for years. I am hoping you will...no in fact i know you will win the
title from her. She treats dragons like her slaves. I detest that
woman, do me the honour of allowing me to be your dragon for that
fight. Good luck with the next round you will not need it."
Diamond watched Glacialis stride away proudly, then turning on her
heel she strode up to the preparation room she hadn't yet managed to
get into this room before because she was to fight the moment she
arrived. Slowly she cracked the door open so she could peer inside,
hearing voices within she stalled and listened quietly, "I can't
believe that skinny little nobody manged to beat Arion, he was a
decent dragon sorcerer! She must've cheated..." Diamond wrinkled her
nose at the insults but remained listening intently to the harsh
female voice, "...I mean only two people have ever beaten Arion, one
was by accident and the other was moi!"
"Fayth..." a sweet tone like music to the ears spoke gently to Fayth,
"...maybe she's just strong."
"Oh be quiet Lor, now where was that massage i asked for?" Fayth asked
angrily.
Diamond moved slightly to get a glimpse of the sweet toned person and
saw it was a dragon in human form, the tell tale being the colour of
the skin, it was light purple and the skin shone in the light from
above. "Hey, Diamond, right?"
Slowly she turned round and nodded at a tall, dark, handsome man who
was beaming down at her, "I...uh..."
"Name's Jace." he shook her hand grinning still, "I'm your next
opponent, glad i won't have to take it easy with you."
A creak from behind, was the door opening full and standing robbed in
silk white with long purple hair was Fayth Argon, "Hi Jace...who's
your friend?" she asked politely slowly Diamond turned round, "YOU!
The pathetic little befriender of dragons...sad...they are there to
serve us obediantly, not help us if they want to." she sneered.
"Thats not true! They are intelligent creatures you shouldn't take
them for granted, this will be the year you lose!"
"Not a chance, novice. I'll see you at the kiddy table at my victory
party."
Diamond glared at her and stormed off, *i must win this round and get
a chance to make her eat those words!*
