Description

Lord Kylm stood at the forefront of his meager troop of misfit soldiers, mercenary outcasts, and courageous commoners, along with his band of veteran friends. He gripped that famous battleaxe of his with nervous energy while his gaze was keenly fixed upon the force of goblins, orcs, and various other vermin assembled before them under the will of Mucomist, that vile cleric and servant of Erythnul. The hatred between them ran deep. More than anyone was aware. Each side was adamantly determined to annihilate the other.

The day was clear and the Battle of Horaja ensued with savage ferocity. It raged violently for more than three hours before Kylm and his friends were able to just barely call it a victory. The losses were more than anyone had expected and Mucomist escaped to the North with only a few of his most trusted creatures. Hundreds lay dead or dying on the battlefield from that bloody confrontation.

It has been more than six years since that battle was fought on the shores of the Solnor Coast just 40 leagues north of the city of Ountsy. Lord Kylm was there with the first attempt at establishing the town of Horaja and securing the safety of lands between Ountsy and Roland. The effort was one of only minor success.

Now Lord Kylm has a new mandate and an even more ambitious endeavor to reconstruct the town of Horaja and establish a powerful trading center more than 100 miles north of Ountsy. Determination to civilize the lands of the Solnor Coast has never been higher. The construction of the town continues in earnest and caravans bound for Horaja have dramatically increased.

The town of Horaja requires soldiers, explorers, builders, and artisans. It needs farmers as well as sailors and those with the backbone to face the wilds and survive. Enter your character into the creation of something worth starting. The adventure begins....
